Abstract

Abstract: This research originated from a problem that occurred in the sixth grade of SDN 44 Alur Tengah, North Lintau Buo Subdistrict, Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra Province, originating from the problem of lack of concrete props about explaining the eclipse process. The purpose of this study was to improve the results of learning and motivation of students in following the learning process in the field of Natural Sciences, the material for the process of eclipses. The research used ADDIE Development Research (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Improving student learning outcomes has increased from. Before the props were applied the average learning outcomes were 68.57 and after the average teaching aids were applied the learning outcomes were 83.33. The conclusion of this research is the application of Malin Kundang Robot Miniature Props Development can improve learning outcomes and activities of class VI students of SDN 44 Alur Tengah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Effect of Mind Mapping Techniques on Poetry Writing Skills of students in elementary schools. This research is an experimental research type Quasi Experimental Design with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Based on the results of the pretest the average value of the experimental class 60 was obtained and the average value of the control class was 64.2. From the results of the comparison of the two sample classes obtained a difference in value of 3.7, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the value of the pretest of both classes, meaning that both classes have the same initial ability. Then learning is done using mind mapping techniques in the experimental class and learning without mind mapping techniques in the control class. After learning was given later in both classes posttest was conducted. For the experimental class the average value is 82 and for the control class the average value is 77.5. From the results of testing the hypothesis with a significant level of 0.05 obtained a significant value of 0,000 because of sig. <α, the hypothesis is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using mind mapping techniques on students' poetry writing skills in elementary schools. Abstract

Abstract: The background of the research is that the teachers in the integrated thematic learning process are not maximal and tend to use the lecture method. The research objective was to describe the improvement of an integrated thematic learning process with the Discovery Learning model in theme 4 in class IV SDN 14 Sungai Sirah. This research is a classroom action research, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Conducted in two cycles, each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research subjects were teachers and fourth grade students in the amount of 30 students. The technique used is data collection with research instruments, namely observation and documentation. The results of the study showed: a) RPP cycle I (meeting 1) 68.5% (B), cycle I (meeting 2) 79.7% (B), and cycle II 89.3% (AB), b) implementation on aspects of teacher cycle I ( meeting 1) 71.5% (C), cycle I (meeting 2) 77.9% (good), and cycle II 85.8% (good), c) implementation on aspects of student cycle I (meeting 1) 67.8% (C), cycle I (meeting 2) 80.5% (B), and cycle II 88.9% (B). Based on the results of research with the Discovery Learning model can improve the thematic learning process

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations and interviews with researchers at SDN 01 shadow, researchers found that the problems regarding student learning motivation were still low. The research problem formulation is how to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in science learning through the Explicit Instruction model. The benefits of this research are for theoretical and practitioner interests. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were grade IV students of 21 people. The research instruments used were motivation observation sheets, teacher activity observation sheets, motivational questionnaire sheets, and student learning outcomes test sheets. From the results of the study, the percentage of motivation asked by the first cycle numbered 45.22%, and the second cycle 71.42%, the percentage of student motivation in answering and responding to the first cycle questions 45.22%, and the second cycle 83.32%, student motivation in expressing opinions in the first cycle 52.35%, and the second cycle 83.33%, doing the exercises on time in the first cycle was 61.9%, and the second cycle 78.57%. So science learning with the Explicit Instruction model (direct teaching) can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract: Low science learning outcomes are less interested and active in learning. This study aims to increase interest in learning science in third grade students of SD N 14 tapan. classroom action research (PTK), data obtained during the research process are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The approach used in this study is the Inquri Guide approach with the following steps: (1) Orientation, (2) Formulating a problem, (3) Formulating a hypothesis, (4) Gathering data to prove the hypothesis, (5) Formulating a conclusion. The research data was obtained using tests, observations, and field notes. The results of each cycle carried out in the study have seen an increase, where in the first cycle showed that the average percentage of student interest reached 54.44% with the category of interest while in the second cycle the average percentage of student interest reached 73.72% with the category very interest. The average student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 64, and in the second cycle reached 75. The average learning outcomes in the second cycle had exceeded the KKM (Minimum Completion Criteria) set by SD N 14, which was 65.
