Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of working hours, wages and age on employee productivity PT. Putra Fajar Jaya, Medan. The number of samples in this study as many as 35 samples. Data was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously working hours, wages and age have a significant effect on employee productivity. Partially hours and wages have a significant effect on employee productivity, whereas age was not a significant effect on employee productivity. Working hours have a greater influence on work productivity compared with wages. Keywords: working hours, wages, age and productivity

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effct of promotion and Price-to-sales of palm oil in PT. PP Kwala Simpang. Samples were taken in 2005 to 2010 (per semester) . The data collected through the techniques required documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Base don the results of the discussion in mind the value of F at 152.59 with a significance leve log 0.000, so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. That is promotions and prices simultaneously have a significantce effect on the value of sales of palm oil in PT. PP Kwala simpang, can be accepted at a sigficance level of 5 percet. Tcount 10,104 for promotion with a significance level of 0,000, so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. That is the promotion of a positive and significant effect on the value of the partial sale of palm oil in PT. PP Kwala Simpang, can be accepted at a significance level of 5 percent. T – test value for the Price of – 4.160 with a significance level of 0.002, so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. That is, the Price significantly and negatively related to the value of partial sale of palm oil in PT PP Kwala Simpang, can be accepted at a significance level  of 5 percent. Value of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.886, meaning that the promotion and the Price has a strong relationship with the sales value of palm oil in PT. PP Kwala Simpang. Valeu of the determinant coefficient (R Square) of 0.784, meaning that the value of sales of palm oil can be explained by promotions and prices by 78.4%, while 21,6% were 21,6% were explained by other factors, such as product and distribution channels. Keywords : promotion, Price, value of sales

Abstract

Cost Analysis of Seed Drying Rice (Oryza sativa) in PT. Sang Hyang Seri (Persero) Branch shavings. PT. Sang Hyang Seri (Persero) Branch shavings used as the study site because here is a branch that has a rice seed breeding area under study and activities are drying by the method referred to in the study. This study uses field observations using a questionnaire and interview research instruments, this kind of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all employees and unit leader drying rice seeds PT. Sang Hyang series (Persero) Branch shavings. The model used data analysis is descriptive and quantitative analysis. To test for differences in the cost of drying rice seeds used analysis of different test-score score (T test) with the help of software SPSS version 17.  The results of this study are: 1) There is no significant difference in the cost of drying method of drying floor open (natural) plain rice and rice seed Ciherang candidate, Mekongga and PB There is a significant difference 42. cost of drying method of drying floor open (natural) plain rice and prospective rice seed varieties Impari 13. 2) there is no significant difference method box dryer drying costs and potential ordinary paddy rice seed Ciherang, Mekongga and Impari 13. there were significant differences in the cost of drying method box dryer ordinary rice and rice seed varieties candidate PB 42. 3) There are significant differences drying costs and the open method of drying floor box dryer ordinary rice and rice seed Ciherang candidate, Mekongga and Impari 13.  Keywords :    Rice Seeds, Dryer

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of marketing channels, marketing function in each channel marketing, marketing costs, share margins and prices spread on each channel as well the level of marketing efficiency in the red pepper and tomato Shelter Market Medan. This study uses field observation  and interview questionnaire, a population, of 75 respondents comprising 17 merchant traders village, town collectors 26 and 32 retailers in the market Shelter Medan. The model used data analysis is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results showed that there were there (four) marketing channels in the red pepper and tomato Shelter Market Medan, Channels Marketing I : Farmers – Trade Village – City Traders – Trade Retailers – Konsumen, Channel Marketing II : Farmers – Trade Retailers – Consumers, Channels Marketing III : Farmers – Consumer. Each institution plays the marketing of at least 4 function, of which there are 4 2 channels apparently have a good level of efficiency than most other 2 channels for the smallest value of marketing efficiency. Keywords : Vegetable Soup, Chili, Tomato, Marketing, Channel Marketing, Efficiency

Abstract

Analysis of Factors Affecting Maize Produstion in Southeast Aceh Regency. Kabupaten Southeast Aceh Selected for this study on the grounds that the district is corn production areas in the province. Samples selected district Subdistrict Lawe Alas, Badr and Bukit Pine as corn production centers firs, second and third in Southeast Aceh Regency. The population in this study was 120 randomly selected maize farmers spread over three district of samples and 9 samples of selected villages in the study area. The model used data analysis aided by SPSS software version 17 in data processing. The results of this study are : obtained value of R2 (coefficient of determination) = 0.992, F value obtained = 2831.918 (synchronously very significant influence), t test (test separately the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable) can be concluded : land area (X1) very significant effect on maize (Y) and labor (X2) / fertilizer (X4) / pesticide (X5) Significantly affects corn production (Y). while seed (X3) does not significantly affect maize production (Y). Keywords : Corn, Production, Land Area, Labor, Seeds, Fertilizers, Pesticides

Abstract
