Abstract

The learning condition of studio pedalangan Serengan which is not yet systematically arranged needs some improvements. therefore, it needs an activity of community service from academic staffs (lecturer 1 to increase the quality of puppetry learning especially the accompaniment treatment in order to make young generation more interested in it. The method used in the learning of pakeliran practice covers appreciation, giving speech, and demonstration. Based on the method, the activity had been held for 3 months. Two times a week, the trainer comes to build students for about three hours. The result is very interesting. The built students can master the materials given. The materials include the accompaniments of ada-ada greget saut nem, srepeg laras slendro pathet nem, ayak-ayakan laras slendro pathet nem, ayak-ayakan laras slendro pathet nem gong lima, lancaran manyar sewularas  slendro pathet manyura, ladrang sobrang laras slendro nem, ada-ada greget saut jugag, ayak-ayak tlutur laras slendro pathet nem Iringan pathet sanga wantahLadrang sri karongron laras slendro pathet sanga, srepeg laras slendro pathet sanga, ayak-ayakan laras slendro pathet sanga, sendhon tlutur, ada-ada greget saut sanga, sampak laras slendro pathet sanga, sampak laras slendro pathet manyura and ada-ada manyura Jugag.Key words: studio, puppetry, accompaniment

Abstract

Traditional performance art and musical biscuits purwa Wonorejo Village, District Gondangrejo, District still exist and are embodied in the studio Mardi Culture. Coaching aims to enhance the skills of puppetry art of puppetry for the students, but it also made coaching for musicians and campursari. The coaching is done by using the method of appreciation, discussions, and demonstrations. The results obtained, the activity increased musicians crowded, the participants not only fathers and adolescents, but selian it every afternoon between the hours of 15:00 to 17:00  are used for training the local elementary school children. While every Tuesday night used by adolescents to exercise Mix, for Wednesday night for training activities Karawitan and puppetry by fathers, while the Saturday night to practice the activities of the local PKK. Given these activities  are very entertained residents, other than that if citizens have always used the musical intent of the PKK as well asfathers. With the existence of these musicians, all members of the community both young and old gamelan music lovers can sing or sing songs Mix. The success gained from this activity the participants are performing outside of the area.Therefore, the results are very good can be used to cover their daily needs. This indicates that the particular skills in the musical culture results could lift the economy for family or could provide for the family everyday.Key words: wayang kulit purwa, Karawitan, campursari

Abstract

The main elements ofpakeliran cover garap sabet, iringan, and catur. The three main elements have the same function in supporting the whole performance. During this time, sabet and catur are given more attention than iringan (accompaniment). For the reason, the quality of pakeliran presentation in wayang performance must be improved for wayang kulit performance contains high values that are able to form Indonesian s attitude and behavior: The improvement can be executed through nonformal education, for example, in studio Guyup Rukun. The training of iringan or pakeliran karawitan (Javanese traditional music) in Sanggar Guyup Rukun uses the method of appreciation, discussion, and demonstration. The result, based on the method, is that students in the studio are able to master Ketawang Gendhing Kabor laras slendro pathet nem, Ladrang Gleyong laras pelog pathet nem, Kemuda laras pelog pathet nem and palaran Pangkur, as well as Ladrang Kalongking laras pe log pathet nemo Other material mastered by the students include gendhing and sulukan for wayang golek.Key words: studio, Guyup Rukun, pakeliran accompaniment, training

Abstract

The learning condition in studio pedalangan Serengan which is not yet systematically arranged needs some improvements. The activity aims to give knowledge and/or practice of pedalangan to the audience in studio pedalangan Serengan especially garap catur. The material given is sabet lakon Gathotkaca Sungging presented by Ki Nartasabda which is edited by Purbo Asmoro. The method used in learning of pakeliran practice in studio pedalangan Serengan is appreciation, giving speech, and demonstration. Based on the method, students are able to master material sabet well. The materials include sabet of the characters: Duryudana, Baladewa, Durna, Karna, Sengkuni, Nilayaksa,  Kartamarma, Jayadrata, Gathotkaca, Samba, Setyaki, Antareja, Dewapawaka, Abimanyu, Semar, Gareng, Petruk, Bagong, Pragalba, Anoman, Arjuna, Banowati, Lesmanawati, and Bhatara Guru. Besides that, other materials are also given covering sabet jejer kahyangan dan Ngastina, sabet  adegan babak unjal, sabet bedhol jejer, sabet budhakan, sabet jaranan, sabet perang ampyak, sabet budhalan buta, sabet abur-aburan gathotkaca, sabet Werkudara mlumpat, and sabet abur-aburan Kresna and Janaka.Key words: studio, pedalangan, sabet, puppet

Abstract

Mural dalam perjalananan seni rupa tidak bisa dilepaskan dari jaman prasejarah kira-kira 31.500 tahun silam, ketika ada lukisan gua di Lascaux, selatan Prancis. Mural-mural abad pertengahan atau periode Baroque memperlihatkan lompatan besar pada tema dan teknik. Interior gereja-gereja di Italia, misalnya, diperindah dengan rerupaan bergaya surealis, karya Michaelangelo dan Leonardo da Vinci, yang bersumber pada kisah-kisah Al Kitab. Di negara-negara konflik, seperti Irlandia Utara, mural sangat mudah ditemui di semua dinding kota. Tercatat sekitar 2000 mural dihasilkan dari sejak tahun 1970 hingga sekarang dan dengan demikian Irlandia Utara-lah negara yang sangat produktif menghasilkan mural. Propaganda politik menjadi tema sentral dalam mural tersebut. Mural pada perkembangannya telah menjadi bagian dari seni publik yang melibatkan komunikasi dua arah. Seniman mural melakukan komunikasi secara visual kepada masyarakat terhadap apa yang ingin dicurahkannya, sedangkan masyarakat sebagai penikmat dalam praktiknya mampu berinteraksi langsung kepada seniman. Hal ini semakin menunjukkan dalam seni mural, bahwa interaksi tidak hanya dilakukan secara visual yang menganut pandangan ‘seni adalah seni’ tanpa pertanggungjawaban yang pasti, namun mural juga mampu mendekatkan dirinya sebagai seni yang berinteraksi juga secara verbal. Dalam hal ini, masyarakat memperoleh pencerahan dalam dunia seni rupa dan secara teknis, masyarakat awam dapat mengambil peran sebagai seniman juga. Faktor karakter inilah yang akhirnya belakangan ini membuat mural semakin mendapatkan perhatian dari masyarakat luas yang awam terhadap perkembangan maupun keberlangsungan hidup seni rupa, lebih khusus lagi adalah anak muda. Fakta inilah yang menjadi dasar penulis untuk melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan bentuk kegiatan workshop mural bagi siswa SMAN Garum dan SMAN Talun Kabupaten Blitar. Materi workshopnya sendiri tidak hanya praktik atau pengenalan teknik membuat mural tetapi juga sejarah, definisi, karakter, dan metode penciptaannya.Keyword : mural, seni publik, dan metode penciptaan seni

Abstract

Writing scientific paper is mater that is felt hard the teacher the unit office of Sragen. This recall is a still a lack of facilities, infrastructure, and training that supports the competency of teaches about the written word. Looking at these conditions, the authors fell the need to perform service on the writing of scientific paper to support the promotion and certification for teahers. The aim of the training service to the communities in the form of teacher to be promoted to a higher level. In addition, as one component of certification is to construct a supporter of scientific writing. The method used in community service activities include training menthods, membring menthods, an menthod of forming a forum of scientific assessments. The training menthod is done by giving training to teacher on a regular basic every two works. Menthods of assistance were made to provide reinforcement tho the teacher in preparing scientific paper after training in completed. Establishment of a forum of scientific assessments a conducted regularly every month to motivate the teacher in the study of scientific writing. The result of this dedication teacher can more up to clas Iv without difficulty in the preparation of scientific paper and teachers can be certified. Abstract

Learning as a process of interaction between student and teacher as well as source of learning at a created contion in oeder to develop behavior. Behavior developing is concerning conscious, continuous, positive and active developing and it is not tentative developing. Besides that, it also includes aspect of behavior and moreover, it has certain aim an direction. Creativity developing is an effort to attractively renovate in order to make it suited to the era and to be able to present art as an effective media for creativity developing. It means that dance art which belongs to SMK Mikael becomes a media of growing and developing for dance “Dancer Pom-pom boys Cheenico” that can be packed as dance spectacle communicated to the audience. The problem that will be analized in the process of dance learning includes how the process and way of dance appreciation learning for student in SMKMikael Surakarta are and what the methot used is. Dance learning has a function as self developing. It can give contribution to the student’ personal developing. The contribution include giving expression space, creative and imaginative developing, increasing the sense of self confidence, and developing cultural insight. For the reason, learning of art has special character and uniqueness. The approach used introduction, while the methods used to give the materials are giving discourse, demontrating and drilling. Abstract

This paper suggests about efforts to improve basic skills in preparation for the group of children dance Subjects Teachers Council (MGMP) Art in the district of Karanganyar through Dance Child Development and Training. These actions are in principle also aims to improve the knowledge and conceptual understanding of the preparation for teachers of dance arts; improve the skills of a child preparation techniques of dance for art teachers in the district of Karanganyar; improve technical skills and innate dancing children for the sake of learning; provide refreshment materials for learning the art of formal dance that always follow the changing times; and liaison between the Department of Dance ISI Surakarta with alumni, and stakeholders (schools in the district Karanganyar).Improved preparation of dance skills for teachers of children is very important given the lack of art materials for teaching dance in elementary and junior. Through training activities are expected of teachers able to be creative dance untukmencipta children, to meet the needs of the art learning materials in schools. Preparation and Training Activities This dance is applying explorative and innovative methods, as methods in the preparation of material pembelajran dance as art in elementary - junior high. A lecture and demonstration, as a method of dance training for groups in Karanganyar MGMP Art. This method has the advantage that it combines a variety of methods in a continuous flow of activities. Methods of providing support for other methods of optimizing these training activities.The method applied in the training proved to be successful. It appears this success at achieving the objectives, activities include: increasing knowledge and conceptual understanding of dance preparation of children and child dance technique skills for art teachers in Karanganyar District, who indicated from their success in preparing the paper / child dance compilation concepts concepts and embodied in the dance of children. Abstract

Community serving activities entitled “Educational Training of CaturPakeliran for the Students of SekarRinonce Pedalangan Training Course in Wonogiri” was held to increase the skill of catur for the students of SekarRinoncePedalangan Training Course and also to improve the quality of catur learning, by using innovative model and strategy.The core competences of catur pakeliran which given to the students, cover : janturan, pocapan, and ginem in the first scene (jejer), Kedhatonan,Paseban Jawi,AdeganDuryapura, and the scene of perang gagal in the lakonWahyu Makutharama which arranged by Purwadi. This aducational training of catur pakeliran is considered succeed, because of the whole quality of the students in presenting garap catur is a lot better than before. This improvement of skill in performing catur cannot be separated from the learning method of active-independent education for the student which used several methods of speech, appreciation, and demonstration. This model of active-independent education explores students’’creativity, so that they can respond the material of training given by creative skills. This conclusion is based on evaluation towards the trainers which observe their students in the last session of performance of this educational training.
