Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Cooperative Learning Model Type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) to Improve Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Students in Class IV SD Inpres Barrang Caddi II Makassar. The purpose of this study was to improve social studies learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning types of teams games tournament (TGT) in fourth grade students of SD Inpres Barrang Caddi II Makassar. The approach used in this research was a qualitative approach and the type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The focus on this classroom research was: 1. Teacher, namely how teachers plan learning steps to be achieved to maximum 2. Students, namely to improve student learning outcomes in social science subjects ( IPS) through the cooperative approach of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model IV SD Inpres Barrang Caddi II Makassar. Data collection techniques were observation and learning achievement tests. Learning outcomes of social science (IPS) grade IV students of SD Inpres Barrang Caddi II in Makassar City had improved after the two teams learning tournament (TGT) held for two cycles. Improved learning outcomes were shown by an increase of evaluation test results in each cycle. In the first cycle the average score reached 63.33, and the second cycle increased to 70.37. While the classical completeness of cycle I, which was 44.44%, had not met the indicators of success. But in the second cycle classical completeness increased to 85.18% and had met the indicators of success.

Abstract

Abstract: The Implementation of Character Education Management in Madrasah Aliyah. The moral degradation that occurred among Indonesian generations has lead to endless unrest. The presence of several cases that do not reflect the dignified character of Indonesia often occurs. Therefore, the government moves to restructure the pattern of Indonesian education by presenting a character education program. Madrasah Aliyah is one of educational institutions that has an interest in character education programs by carrying out some good habituation activities carried out in madrasah. Implementation of character education management in Madrasas needed to involve all components of the madrasah, namely students, teachers and staff, madrasah principals, education leaders, and Santri parents. The use of this approach was based on a deep awareness that the success of an education was not only determined by the role of the school but also by the role of parents and society. The successful implementation of character education management was not only the responsibility of madrasah (madrasa principals and teachers), but also parents of students. Because the implementation of character education management was a shared responsibility between the madrasah headmasters, teachers and parents of students, each of them should be able to play a role as a supporter in the success of character education.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Question Student Have Learning Model in Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Students in the Grade V of SD Al Hijrah Makassar. The purpose of this study Knowing the picture of learning outcomes in mathematics, studying the description of learning outcomes in mathematics after applying the learning model Student Questions Have learned the effectiveness of the application of learning models Student Questions have been in class V students of SD Al Hijrah Makassar City. The study used a Pre-Experimental Design Design. The technique used was to take a sample using a saturated sample, the sample of this study were all fifth grade students of Al Hijrah Elementary School in Makassar who gathered 31 students. The technique used by the author was saturated sampling, so the sample in this study was all fifth grade students of SD Al Hijrah Elementary Makassar, with total 31 students. Based on the results of descriptive analysis of data, it was found that the average acquisition of students 'cognitive scores before the application of the Question Student Have learning model was 39.87 and 61% of students from 31 students' mastery level of material were in the low category. While the average cognitive value of students after applying the Question Student Have learning model was 75.61 and 68% of students from 31 students mastering the material were in the high category. This showed an increased in the acquisition of the average value of students namely from 39.87 to 75.61. This meant that the Question Student Have learning model had effect very in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The Development of Instrument for Learning Outcomes of Al-Quran and Hadith Learning in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar. This study aimed to develop an instrument for evaluating the learning outcomes of the Qur'an and hadith in Madrasah Aliyah in the realm of affective, cognitive and psychomotor. This research was an instrument development research that used 3D models and involved 252 subjects in class XI in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar City. Data analysis techniques in content validation were carried out qualitatively using expert judgment and in empirical validation was inferential quantitative analysis and item analysis. The results showed that (1) the learning outcomes of the Qur'an and hadith were in the cognitive domain of class XI in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar, in the form of a multiple choice test package 1 with 5 answer choices and 28 items and its reliability was 0.939 while the multiple choice test package 2 with 5 choices answers and 26 items and their reliability were 0.906 (2) The results of development of the instrument of learning assessment results of the Qur'an and hadith were in the affective domain of class XI in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar, in the form of self-assessment scale with 27 statements and the reliability of 0.741 (3) The results of development of the instrument assessment of learning outcomes of the Qur'an and hadith were in the psychomotor domain of class XI in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar in the form of performance, with 13 statements accompanied by an assessment rubric. Based on the results of calculation of content and empirical validity, these cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domain assessment instruments were stated to be accepted.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving the Ability to Recognize the Number Symbols through the Use of Number Beams in Children Aged 5-6 Year at Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of numeric blocks in improving the ability to recognize the number symbols of children aged 5-6 years in the Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. The approach used in this research was a qualitative approach and the type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The focus of this research was the ability to recognize symbols and numbers. Research procedures included planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects In this study, there was group B Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. Data collection techniques were observation and documentation. The results of the study indicated that by using the media block numbers could improve the ability to recognize the symbol of child numbers in group B in Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Polewali Village Gantarang District Bulukumba Regency. In Cycle I the percentage of children's results was 60% and increased to 87% in cycle II.

Abstract

Abstract: The Study of Language Attitudes of Semester VI Students in 2019 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar. This study aimed to describe the factors that determine language attitudes and attitudes towards Indonesian language in semester VI of 2019 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive analysis research that describes or qualitatively explains the description of a situation. Data collection techniques include interviews, records, and direct observation. The results of this study indicated that the language attitude of students had shown positive language attitude factors in situations and conditions that were in accordance with the ongoing situation. Also, students of semester VI 2019 attitude towards Indonesian Language in Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar had shown pride, loyalty, and awareness of the existence of language norms.

Abstract

Abstract: The Emotional Social Education of Early Childhood through Role Playing Method in Group B Age 5-6 Year at TK Benteng 1 Selayar Island. This study aimed to develop the Children's Emotional Social Through Role Playing Method. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection consisted of observations, interviews, and documentation. Data Analysis was carried out in a series of steps with several cycles. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion in cycle I and cycle II, it could be seen from an increase in children's social emotional abilities, very well-developed students/BSB in the cycle I of the first meeting with indicators of understanding and obeying the rules achieved 6.25%, while indicators patiently wait their turn reached 6.25%. At the second meeting with indicators understanding and obeying the rules it reached 6.25%, while indicators patiently waiting their turn reached 12.5%. The third meeting with indicators understanding and obeying the rules reached 18.75%, while indicators patiently waited their turn reached 12.5%. Then in the cycle II the first meeting with indicators to understand and obey the rules reached 37.5%, while indicators patiently waited their turn reached 12.5%. At the second meeting with indicators understanding and obeying the rules reached 62.5%, while indicators waiting patiently reached 62.5%. The third meeting with indicators understanding and obeying the rules reached 87.5%, while indicators waiting for their turn reached 87.5%.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Discovery Learning Model on the Ability to Write Explanatory Texts for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of discovery learning model on the ability to write explanatory text students in class VII. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. Researcher used the Pre-Experimental research method with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this research was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. This research was conducted in two stages of assessment, namely the initial test or before treatment and the final test or after treatment. Researcher conducted data collection using test and observation methods. The results showed that the ability to write explanatory texts before being given a treat obtained an average value of 69.5 or an incomplete percentage of 59%. After being given treatment by using the discovery learning model learning get an average value of 80.27 with a percentage of 78% that was complete. Improvement of students' writing skills after being given treatment by 78% which was previously 59%. In other words, there was the effect of discovery learning learning model on the ability to write explanatory text for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Appositive Endocentric Phrases in News Discourse Essays. This study aimed to describe the forms of the use of apositive endocentric phrases in news essay discourse at SMP Negeri 3 Mare Class VIII.B. This research used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. This technique led to research that was used based on existing facts by describing and analyzing data qualitatively. Data from this study were obtained from news essay discourse in SMP Negeri 3 Mare Class VIII.B. The data that had been collected was given a code and text serial number along with paragraph number sequence. The object in this study was a student worksheet in the form of student essays. The data collection technique in this researchwas the documentation technique. The data collection phase includes: collecting student essays, reading one at a time and underlining the apositive endocentric phrases found in the news discourse. The data analysis phase includes: discussing one by one analyzing the data that has been studied, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that the form of apositive endocentric phrases that were used in news essays on students of SMP Negeri 3 Mare class VIII.B were subject positions in the form of nouns in the name category, there were also prepositional phrases marked with prepositions as clues such as 'in' , 'to', 'from' and 'to'.

Abstract

Abstract: The Application of NHT (Numbered Heads Together) Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class V Student of SD Inpres Bertingkat Labuang Baji Makassar. This study aimed to increase in the quality of teaching and learning process for class V students of SD Inpres Bertingkat Labuang Baji Makassar, and improve mathematics learning achievement for SD Inpres Bertingkat Labuang Baji Makassar by implementing NHT (Numbered Head Together) cooperative learning. The research method used the type of Classroom Action Research. The focus of this study was the NHT type of cooperative learning model, and Mathematics learning outcomes. The subjects in this study were Class V students with a total of 38 students. The procedures of this research included: planning, implementing, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques and research instruments were observation, test and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The result showed that the results of the first cycle test, student learning outcomes were in enough category and had not reached the expected learning completeness. Then the second cycle became good category, and achieved the expected learning completeness. Improving student learning outcomes through the use of the NHT type of cooperative learning model was supported by an increase in student activity in the following the lessons, in the form of: discipline in group formation, activeness in problem discussion, regularity in numbering members (exchanging answers in groups), and concluding mathematics subject matter. It could be concluded that the application of the NHT type of cooperative learning model could improve the learning outcomes of class V students of SD Inpres Bertingkat Labuang Baji Makassar.
