Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which struck Indonesia in March 2020, impacted various sectors, including the capital market. The capital market, which primarily served as a source of funding for investors, was also affected. This research was designed to examine the impact of economic elements on the share prices of manufacturing sectors amidst the Covid-19. The aspects under examination encompassed exchange rate, inflation, probability, and stock trading volume. This research employed data from all total of 171 manufacturing industry firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the period from 2019 to 2021 . The research method used is a quantitative method. The total sampling technique used resulted in a sample of 59 (fifty-nine) companies that met the research criteria. The method of data analysis employed is panel data regression analysis, utilizing the Random Effect Model (REM) estimation, which is tested using Eviews 12. The findings indicate that profitability significantly influences stock prices, while exchange rate, inflation and stock trading volume do not have a significant effect on the stock prices of manufacturing companies during 2019-2021. Based on the simultaneous test result obtained, exchange rate, inflation, profitability, and stock trading volume have a significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the organizational potential in facing the impact of implementing Business Intelligence System (BIS) technology using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SmartPLS) as the analytical tool. We conducted research on several organizations that have adopted Business Intelligence (BIS) with the goal of enhancing managerial excellence. Data collection was carried out online, involving 150 respondents from 5 organizations in Indonesia, the majority of whom are already familiar with and have implemented BIS technology in their organizations. We evaluated the impact of this technology, particularly on organizational performance, decision-making processes, and business process optimization. This research not only synthesizes knowledge from relevant literature but also provides a holistic understanding of the impact of Business Intelligence System (BIS) technology, specifically through its success within an organizational context. The findings of this research are expected to offer a profound insight into how the adoption of BIS can transform organizational paradigms in managing information, deciding strategies, and improving operational efficiency.

Abstract

This research explores the critical success factors influencing the implementation of knowledge management in the education sector, employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS as the analytical tool. The study addresses the intricate challenges inherent in knowledge management within educational environments, aiming to provide a nuanced understanding of the factors contributing to successful implementation The conceptual framework identifies key factors, including HRM-Driven Knowledge Sharing, IT Integration in Teaching Practices, Organizational Culture Alignment, Perceived Effectiveness of Teacher Training, and Perceived Top Management Support. The chosen methodology, utilizing SmartPLS, is justified for its suitability in handling challenges associated with small sample sizes and non-normal data distributions. The data analysis reveals the generally robust reliability of constructs but also underscores potential concerns related to discriminant validity among certain variables. The research contributes significantly to the understanding of critical success factors for knowledge management in education. However, the conclusion suggests the need for refinement in the conceptual model to enhance the validity and applicability of the findings. In conclusion, this research offers a comprehensive perspective on the complexities of implementing knowledge management in the education sector. The findings pave the way for potential enhancements to the conceptual model, aiming to elevate the effectiveness of knowledge management practices within educational contexts.

Abstract

This study focuses on investigating the relationship between water temperature, water pH, and residual water chlorine with the presence of Aedes sp. larvae in the RW 06 area of North Gandaria Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta. Utilizing an analytical cross-sectional research design, the study encompasses a population of 667 houses in RW 06, with a sample size of 92 houses determined through Proportional Simple Random Sampling. The analysis employs chi-square tests to examine the associations between the variables. The findings reveal that there is no significant relationship between water temperature and the presence of Aedes sp. larvae (P-value = 0.659) and no significant relationship between water pH and the presence of Aedes sp. larvae (P-value = 0.434). However, the research does identify a noteworthy association between residual water chlorine and the presence of Aedes sp. larvae (P-value = 0.000). This emphasizes the importance of water chlorine levels in influencing the presence of Aedes sp. larvae in the specified area. The study's outcomes contribute valuable insights to the management of water quality in the context of Aedes sp. larvae control.

Abstract

Fraudulent financial statements involve intentional actions of manipulating or hiding information in financial reports to deceive users. Understanding the factors behind such fraud can be explored through the Diamond Scheme Theory, consists of four materials: opportunity, rationalization, ability, and pressure. The aim of this research analyze the impact of each component of the Fraud Diamond on fraudulent financial statements. The quantitative research methodology focuses on industries in the real estate, construction and property sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange starting 2020 to 2022. The sample includes 69 companies selected through purposive sampling. Utilizing multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26 is employed for analysis. The study results reveal that, individually, only the capability variable within the Fraud Diamond has a significant negative impact on fraudulent financial statements. Pressure, opportunity, and rationalization variables do not show a significant influence. Additionally, when considered collectively, there is no discernible impact of the Fraud Diamond components on fraudulent financial statements.
