Abstract

In general, social conditions affect children's activities and motivation in studying. Related to the issue, the discussion in this paper sees that children are a gift from Allah SWT that is always expected by every appropriate guidance with social development both in society and in family. However, not everyone can look after their children properly according to what is ordered by Allah SWT through religious teachings. For various causes and reasons, parents do not pay attention to the religious education of their children. In the end, the negative impact will be strongly felt by parents, especially for the children themselves. In order to forming religious education in children in these conditions, the community involvement is needed as a social element. The main factors influencing learning motivation of orphans are the factor from within (internal) and from outside (external). But the most fundamental is child psychology which is something that is not separated from human life itself, so that these condition of social differences become the most influencing factor for the orphans and neglected children in doing their learning activities. Thus, the conclusion is that social conditions are something highly determines the learning motivation that can change the level of self-confidence for the orphans. Hence, the cooperation of the government and observers of society condition must keep on trying to provide the supports in the form of attention, affection, guidance and also try to develop abilities and shape characters of the children, which are not only their intellectual capability but also their moral through various forms of religious education.

Abstract

The status and roles of women produce various conclusions due to different perspectives and approaches in examining gender relations and the dynamics of interactions that occur in gender relations in society. Biological differences between men and women have occurred since the conception, embryological development and puberty. Socioculturally, these differences are developed in accordance with the conditions that occur among the ethnic groups concerned. This shift can be seen in the increasing number of women who penetrate the public sphere, even willing to leave their homes to get work. Differences in gender roles that are formed by society are continuously socialized through education, either directly or indirectly in families, schools and in the community. Therefore, society really adheres to the rules that differentiate the roles of women and men. For this reason, various efforts are needed to fight for gender equality in people's lives.

Abstract

Delivering knowledge is one of a teacher's qualities. It can be performed through teaching, learning, writing books, etc. Knowledge must be absorbed by people in a wider range to give a meaningful impact and to get the society affected by the benefits of it. Aside from implementing the knowledge, a person with knowledge (alim) is required to deliver it to people. The duties of an educator are to convey knowledge, verse, and hadith, instead of keeping it for himself. Keeping for oneself means not answering others’ difficulties or not sharing the book he reads. Teachers' love for students is shown by teaching them ethics and necessary things in life and the afterlife. Islam cares about children and women and never differentiates them from the men. Islam motivates people who are tested with having daughters, but to be grateful and taking their education into account; their daughters will later be a barrier for them from entering into hell.

Abstract

Cognitive development is one of students' development aspects related to knowledge. It inlcudes all psychological processes related to individual's method to learn and comprehend his environment. Cognitive development is a development step of human from child to adult, from concrete thinking process to the advanced ones, which is abstract and covering logical concepts. Cognitive development in children is their abilities to think in a more complicated way, do reasoning, and solve problems that include into psychological process related to an individual's method of learning and taking his environment into account. The characteristics of students' cognitive development have to be realized by all parties. With the comprehension of the characteristics of students' cognitive development, teachers and parents can determine the development limit the students had according to their age, so teachers and parents can implement the knowledge that suits children’s cognitive skill.

Abstract

Learning is one of the activities that can be managed in education, with this discussion entitled Creative Learning Methods Through Educational Game Tools in Forming Early Childhood Character, we can make learning in education more creative so that students do not experience boredom in following the learning process given. Creative learning methods through educational play tools in shaping early childhood character, can help character formation of students in education levels ranging from kindergarten, elementary, junior high, high school and up to higher education, as for the educational game tool in question is a game tool that can be played without any burden for students and can be enjoyed by those entering the adult level. With this creative learning method through educational play tools in shaping early childhood character, it can be enjoyed when they enter adolescence and adulthood, because interesting learning will always be remembered and can be applied various kinds of learning models that can foster children's creative power, so that patterns think children are getting more advanced and modern.

Abstract

The command to iqra in Qur'an as the first revelation is a concept of command to read. In this context, the word iqra (read) means an activity to get to know, comprehend, analyze, observe, and learn all things in life. It could also be specifically interpreted as reading books. The book here is not limited to Qur'an, but each and every beneficial thing. Children are blank slates of human that must be introduced to books and reading. However, it is obvious that there is a difference in teaching reading to early childhood and to adults. Reading is an enjoyment for children, full of pictures and colors, laughter and happiness. The essence of children is to be engaged in new things. So, reading is a way to introduce numerous new things to early childhood.

Abstract

This study entitled the analysis of gender differences in the level of student learning discipline during the Covid 19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in the level of student learning discipline and the level of learning discipline among female students in the education department in Palu City during the covid pandemic 19. The research approach used is quantitative research through the survey method, namely research used to obtain data that occurred in the past or present, regarding beliefs, opinions, characteristics, behavior, variable relationships and to test several hypotheses about sociological and psychological variables from the sample drawn from a specific population. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. Technique of data analysis through independent sample T-test. The population in this study were students majoring in education in the city of Palu. The technique used in sampling in this study was purposive random sampling technique. The results showed that there was no difference in the level of student learning discipline and the level of learning discipline among female students during the Covid 19 pandemic. This can be seen from the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.573> 0.05, so Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that students have the same opportunities, both men and women in terms of discipline in learning.
