<![CDATA[This research was conducted because the research conducted found findings in contemporary calligraphy works in SMP Negeri 15 Integrated Islamic Binjai are some of the work of students who do not meet the right color mix, in the mix of readability of letters are still unreadable, excess in letters, and calligraphy works are still commonly found Error with letter update. This study discusses to discuss, study, discuss, analyze and analyze color selection and letter readability in contemporary calligraphic works by extracurricular students in Binjai Integrated Islamic Middle School 158 from 2018 to 2019. This study uses qualitative question and answer according to search. The subject of this research is the contemporary work of extracurricular students in terms of letters and color reading of 8 contemporary calligraphy works. The overall results in this study explain about contemporary calligraphy works that discuss the openness of letters and colors quite well. With an average value of 81.05 for letter readability and 80.42 for color.]]>

<![CDATA[In a variety of credit systems offered by PT. Bank Sumut Branch Of Medan turned out to have various methods in its procedural. This journal aims to find out the conditions set by PT. Bank Sumut Branch Of Medan as a creditor to each debtor,the research method used is judiscial empiricial that is by conducting field research, the results of the study show the creditor has the same absolute conditions for each type and nature of the credit offered, in its determination the debtor must be able to provide a collateral object in the form of fiduciary the object is a ceiling of 125% of what the debtor gets and the executor of PT. Bank Sumut Branch Of Medan is still carried out according to warnings made by company through 3 phases of summons, then if the debtor does not have good faith in paying off his debts, the creditor can sue the debtor for trial and obtain a district court decision as the basis for executing the fiduciary guarantee object in material rights. With the result of the transfer of material rights, the existence of the object of fiduciary collateral is wholly owned by the creditor and can be auctioned off at the KPKNL and can also be through the absolute surrender of PT. Bank Sumut Branch Of Medan by selling it real execution.]]>

<![CDATA[The rise of narcotics circulation in recent years, has caused many losses not only economic losses but the loss of a generation of people who have lost common sense to become victims of life, even though in a very productive age. Based on this condition, the legal policy taken by the government by making maximum legal sanctions for drug dealers and drug dealers with a maximum sentence of life or death sentence. This writing aims to examine the position and function of scientific testimony on the death penalty for narcotics offenders and the perspective of North Sumatra BNN and North Sumatra Regional Police on scientific testimony on the death penalty for narcotics offenders. The results of this study indicate that the use of scientific testimony in criminal cases will scientifically reveal narcotics criminal cases, so that it can be seen what articles can be applied in narcotics crime cases, that the position and function of scientific testimony against capital punishment for narcotic offenders is as a tool or means to supplement other evidence whether a suspect is indeed eligible for a death sentence or not and also whether or not a recommendation from the results of scientific testimony can change the law enforcement authorities not to impose the death penalty for narcotics offenders depending, whether the investigator or the investigator is willing to use information from the letter of the results.]]>

<![CDATA[n this study, it is focused on analyzing the political economy policy of the North Sumatra Provincial Government in the Asean Economic Community (AEC) towards Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research was conducted with the aim to see the validity of the ideology of liberalism on the political economy policy of the North Sumatra Provincial Government in the AEC for MSMEs in North Sumatra. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which emphasizes the policy of the Government of North Sumatra Province in the AEC, opportunities and obstacles that arise for MSMEs. The results of this study are expected to be a reference and solution for the Government of the Province of North Sumatra in making policy for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in running the Asean Economic Community. The resulting political policy is a policy that can take advantage of opportunities and answer the challenges that exist in the AEC. With government political policies that are right on target, they will realize shared development goals. ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the design of the SDIT AL - Munadi Medan brochure for the period 2014 - 2019 by knowing the color, layout and typography of the brochure. The research method uses descriptive qualitative by collecting various information about the brochure design of SDIT AL - Munadi Medan for the period of 2014 - 2019. The population in this study is the design of brochures for the period 2014 - 2019 amounting to 6 brochures at SDIT AL - Munadi Medan. The sample in this study used saturated sampling in which the entire population was sampled, in order to obtain data regarding the analysis of the design brochure SDIT AL - Munadi Medan. After collecting data through observation research instruments, interviews and documentation, the results of the study show the results of the SDIT AL - Munadi Medan brochure design for the period 2014 - 2019 from the color of the brochure, brochure layout, and brochure typography.]]>

<![CDATA[Traffic violations have become a habit of the road user community, so that every time an orderly operation of the traffic on the road is carried out by the authorities, traffic violation cases are still occurring and these violations often cause traffic accidents. The research method used in this research is to use a normative and empirical approach. i.e. conducts library research by researching and collecting library materials that are specifically related to laws and regulations and books relating to law and traffic, as well as field research conducted by observing observations and direct interviews with related objects. The results showed that the forms of traffic violations that occurred were motorists breaking traffic signs, driving not using a complete safety system. Some acts and sanctions for violations which are categorized as traffic violations regulated by Law No. 22 of 2009. Factors handling obstacles to traffic violations in Siantar Traffic Police Station Siantar, namely the human factor (Human Error), the factor of inadequate road infrastructure and facilities causing traffic violations. Efforts to deal with traffic offenses at the Siantar Police Traffic Police Unit are preventive and repressive measures to take action by giving a letter of reprimand or verbally, taking action by giving a ticket.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses to examine the phenomenon of political communication during the presidential and vice-presidential elections in 2019. From cases that occur during the campaign period, there are often symptoms of lack of argumentation, lack of credibility, and lack of ability to communicate through debate. This research uses The Functional Debate Campaign theory stated by William, L. Benoit. It is including the use of research methods and analytical techniques developed by Benoit. From the results of this study it is known that all candidates for President and Vice President mostly direct their political discourse into policy rather than turn up their characters, but in conveying their political messages still have shortcomings from verbal and nonverbal aspects. Whereas in terms of functional strategy it is considered to be sufficient because it has used several techniques, but it has not been evenly displayed by all candidates. There is also a weakness that appears in all candidates seen from the debate strategy which is less able to build good acclaim to build election by candidates by trying to attack and defend when attacked. The implications of the research on this candidate's debate, show that the use of candidate debates on television as a political communication forum was attracted the media and voters, however, it has not yet an ideal primary means for voters to see the credibility and capability of the prospective leader.]]>

<![CDATA[The cover illustration of the Harry Potter novel has many variants in various parts of the world, by bringing their respective nusions represented by each element presented by the illustrator. The cover illustration of the Indonesian edition of the Harry Potter novel by Nicholas Filbert is one of the official covers of the Indonesian edition of the Harry Potter novel. By reviewing the visual elements presented by the illustrator qualitatively, it can be seen that the visual elements are related to the concepts and nuances offered by the illustrator. This study aims to review the visual elements in the cover illustration of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. By collecting data in the form of images, articles, as well as sources related to the cover, illustrators, which are the sources of researchers in reviewing and finding new findings related to visual elements in the cover illustration of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. By using a qualitative method, from the data obtained by the researcher, the researcher gets information that will be the result related to the visual cover element. The findings of this study indicate that of all the visual elements reviewed, it is found that the illustrator tries to make the illustrations The difference is quite noticeable from cover illustrations from other parts of the world. The illustrator also tries to present the uniqueness of the illustrator, namely the illustration that is dense and fills all the empty spaces and is directed at one of the Indonesian peculiarities which is expressed in visual elements making Batik a visual reference, namely on color and composition.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find The Correlation between Social Environment and Self-Esteem on Teenagers at Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah Orphanage in Binjai. The subject were 56 teenagers who lived in the orphanage. The sample was collected by using total sampling technique. The data was collected by using social environment and self-esteem scales. The data was analyzed by using correlation technique (rxy) in the amount of 0,792 with p = 0,000 < 0,050 which means there was a positive and significant relationship between social environment and self-esteem, it showed that the better the social environment, the higher self-esteem. Conversely, the worse the environment, the lower self-esteem. Social environment in this study was classified as high, due to (empirical mean = 111,32 > hypothetical mean = 90 where the difference exceeds the numbers of SD = 13,087). Self-esteem was also classified as high, due to (empirical mean = 120,68 > hypothetical mean = 95 where the difference exceeds the numbers of SD = 13,051). Coefficient of determination and correlation was r2 = 0,627 which means the social environment contributed 62,7% to self-esteem. Based on this study, there were still 37,3% influence of the other factors which weren’t revealed in this study. ]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to "know the manufacturing process, applied motifs, and colors used in bamboo woven crafts products". The method of research done is a descriptive method. Samples are used only 5 types of products, of each 5 of these types are taken 2 samples of the product. Up to 10 total samples. The population in this study totaled about 1 million products from 15 product types produced. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research show that the process of making crafts woven bamboo in Sanggar creative "Sunflower" Village Rambung Barat, District South Binjai in the outline has 4 stages, namely the provision of tools and materials, processing of raw materials, process of workmanship, and finishing process. Motif applied to the handicrafts woven bamboo is a motif of a single base (sasaq), a motif of the double basic woven (braid), and hero eye motif. The color used in bamboo woven crafts are bamboo color (basic natural color), red color (primary color), green color (secondary color), a combination of red and green color (complementary color), as well as black color (the color is produced from mixing thinner and grand flour).]]>
