ABSTRAK
In a “status quo” situation, value is needed for taking final decision and also needed when facing a complex problems/challenges. University X (PT) is a result of merging of three Colleges ( Sekolah Tinggi). Charity is a quality of human person that want to be developed. The challenge is that the internalization level of its value still remains unknown. Also, some programs that aimed to embed the value as organization culture/model are still on going progress. In fact, the value should be reveal on surface in everyday lives of the member of the organization. The research aims to (1) evaluate the process of seeding Charity value at PT. X. (2) Indentify some factors that might be slowing down the process. (3) design new strategy in order to maximize the process. Therefore, the way of responding to the problems can be discribed on this following steps: (1) Formulate the problem. The result shown that there is 29% GAP/distance in Charity value. (2) Analyze the problem. Some factors that still becomes main problem for seeding the Charity values are individual character, knowlegde, skils, and the old culture (3) Search for alternative solutions. Some choosen programs are designed in order to narrow the GAP, for examples Learning and Teaching activity, Team Building/Happy Hour, Trainning, Confrence, Workshop, Mentoring, and Student Activities. (4) Decide among the alternative and Specify the solution. The choosen program is Learning and Teaching activity.

A study entitled “The Influence of Characteristics, Attitude and Skill of Pempek Entrepreneurs in Palembang toward Successful Business Achievement” is an entrepreneurship study related to the influencing factors of succesful business achievement of pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang. This purpose of this study is to find out whether or not the entrepreneurs’ characteristics, attitude and skill factors affect the succesful business achievement. Sample was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The hypothesis was tested by using multiple regression analysis. The t-test of SPSS calculation implied that the significant value of characteristics was 0.709, attitude was 0.213 and entrepreneurship skill was 0.287 (less than 0.05). Therefore, the results of the study implied that there was no correlation between characteristics, attitude and entrepreneurship skill of pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang toward succesful business achievement.

The aim of this reseach is to analyze the impact of Service Quality towards Students Satisfaction within Musi Charitas Chatolic University (MCCU). Service quality has five determinants, which are reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty and tangibles. These determinants should be fit with MCCU basic values CHAMPION. Research Sample 214 students from three faculties of MCCU using convenience sampling technique. Data Analyze Technique using Simple Regression and frequent tabulation. The results indicated that Students have not been satisfied yet with the service quality required and still need continuously improvement to improve sustainability competitiveness.

Individual performance is the success of a company, it is expected that individuals can complete the task on time. In order for individual performance to work well, an organization needs to pay attention to the factors that have an influence on performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the technical capabilities of users of accounting information systems, management participation, effectiveness and technostress on individual performance. This research was conducted at PT Asatech Indonesia Group Palembang. The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling technique where samples are selected from the population based on available information, so that 100 samples of employees can be obtained. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection is done using a questionnaire. The results showed that the technical ability of users of accounting information systems had a significant effect on individual performance, management participation had a significant effect on individual performance, effectiveness had a significant effect on individual performance, and technostress had a significant effect on individual performance.

One attempt to create a processed product of fishery products in the form of finished goods which main raw material are fishery products is by processing it into crackers. Crackers are generally made from tapioca flour as a source of starch with the addition of spices and water which have a low nutrient content. Addition of nutritional crackers can be done by adding fish meat. While on the other hand, the type of fish as the main raw material for making fish crackers greatly influences the color, texture and taste of fish crackers. As in the case with squid crackers which have distinctive taste and performance when compared to other fish crackers. To see the potential of the squid cracker business, it is necessary to conduct research to see whether the processing of squid into squid crackers is able to provide increased income or in other words whether the squid cracker business is feasible or not and how much added value from processing squid to squid crackers. This study aims to look at the feasibility of squid cracker business in terms of financial aspects and to determine the amount of added value obtained from processing squid into squid crackers. The research showed that the development of a squid cracker business was feasible and prospective to be carried out.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of supervision on employee discipline in the Office of Communication and Information Technology of South Sumatra Province, in this study the authors used a quantitative descriptive type of research. The samples taken in this study were 53 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear revelation f test, t test, coefficient of determination analysis. The results of the study show that all existing instruments are valid and realistic and that from the regression calculation it is proven that there are influences between independent and bound variables. This can be seen from the regression coefficient value of 0.761X, which means that every increase in the supervision variable 1%, the employee discipline increases by 0.761. This can also be supported by the f test and t test which shows that there is a positive and significant influence between the supervisory variables and work discipline jointly or individually and can be seen also from the coefficient of determination which has a value of 0.587 which means the supervision variable has influence of 58.7% on work discipline variables.

The objective of this research is to study the impact of motivation on students’ achievement in studying English of Faculty of Science and Technology. The reason of carrying out the research is the low scores of the majority students of Computer Information System (SI) and Technology Information (IF) Study Program of Faculty of Science and Technology. The research was conducted at the Computer Information System Study Program and Technology Information Study Program of Faculty of Science and Technology, Musi Charitas Catholic University, Palembang. There were 30 students taken as the samples of the research by using non-probabilities technique. The respondents’ profile is based on the gender and the study program. Most of the repondents are male. The number of the students from the Technology Information Program are more than those who come from the Computer Information Study Program. The method used in the research was a survey. The technique of collecting data was using questionnaire for motivation, and for the data of learning achievement is taken from the cumulative scores of the average scores of the daily tests and the final exam. The data was analysed using descriptive statistical method and simple regression analysis. To test the statistics is used the t test. Most of the students have average and low motivation and they also have average and low learning-achievement in studying English. The data analysis and interpretation showed that there is no significant effect of motivation on the students’ achievement in studying English.

The implementation of social responsibility has been widely applied to various types of companies including profit-based manufacturing companies. This is because the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is able to influence the performance of the company. Through corporate social activities, making the name of the company can be great in the eyes of the wider community. This research was conducted with the aim of obtaining results or output empirically to test the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on stock returns and the value of companies with good corporate governance as moderating. This research examines companies engaged in manufacturing that have been registered with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2017 period. A total of 539 manufacturing companies were used as populations with purposive judgment sampling as a sampling method. The indicator used to measure Corporate Social Responsibility variables is using the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (SRG) method by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as its issuer. And for the proxy of the Good Corporate Governance variable, it uses managerial ownership. Managerial ownership is acting as a management who actively participates in decision making and also as a shareholder in the company, and the measurements made for company value variables are using the Tobin's Q index. The data analysis technique used in the study is multiple regression analysis hypothesis testing using SPSS version 24. The method used in this research is the documentation method carried out by collecting secondary data published by the company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of annual reports which include financial statements of manufacturing companies in 2015-2017. Secondary data collection is done by tracing data through literature and manuals on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research is a quantitative study with a correlational analysis method to examine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable.

Dari tahun ke tahun jumlah usaha mikro kecil dan menengah di Indonesia semakin meningkat, peningkatan ini dibarengi dengan semakin meningkatkan kesadaran berwirausaha di Indonesai. Mulai dari orang-orang muda hinga pensiunan mulai menekuni pekerjaan menjadi pengusaha UMKM. Peningkatan jumlah usaha kecil mikro dan menengah di Indonesia ini, membawa dampak positif bagi kondisi perekonomian di Indonesia, diantaranya membuka peluang kerja bagi masyarakat di sekitar lokasi UMKM, dengan begitu melalui UMKM masyarkata mampu menggerakan roda perekonomian keluarga hingga berdampak bagi penompang perekonomian Indonesia. Meningkatnya jumlah UMKM tentu saja membawa dampak persaingan bisnis semakin ketat, masing sarana komunikasi pemasaran yang tepat menjadi tantangan tersendiri sehingga komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan UMKM effektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui penaruh dari Marketing Communication Objective dan Communication Channel terhadap Marketing Communication Effectiveness. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaku usaha mikro kecil dan menengah di Surabaya, dengan mengambil sampel pelaku UMKM dibidang kuliner di Surabaya sebanyak 136 responden UMKM di Surabaya yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling yang diolah menggunakan teknik regresi berganda dengan aplikasi SPSS. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif antara Marketing Communication Objective terhadap Marketing Communication Effectiveness begitu juga terdapat pengaruh positif antara Communication Channel terhadap Marketing Communication Effectiveness.
