Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of Profitability and Investment opportunity set and the cash ratio of the Cash Dividend on wholesale services firm (durable and non durable goods), retail trade and restaurant, hotel and tourism that are listed in the Bursa Efek Indonesia 2011-2013. The population in this research study number 76 service companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data obtained from the financial statements for 2011 to 2013 that has been published. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with a constant 5%. The results showed that a significant and positive effect on profitability, investment opportunity set variables and no significant negative effect and variable cash ratio and no significant negative effect. The coefficient of determination R square shows at 0.298 or 29.8% explained that the variable cash dividends is explained by the variable profitability, investment opportunity set and the cash ratio while the remaining 0,702 or 70.2% explained by other variables.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the magnitude of the contribution proposed by the coefficient lines at each track diagram of causal relationships between variables of Product Quality and Price on Customer Loyalty Provider Bolt Through Customer Satisfaction. The population in this study is that user Provider Bolt in Pondok Pinang Rw 012 South Jakarta with a sample of 70 people. Sampling technique using a Non-probability Sampling Simple Random Sampling technique. The analysis technique used is the Path Analysis and the obtained results of the coefficient of direct influence Product Quality and Price on Customer Satisfaction at 0,776 while the coefficient of indirect influence on the Product Quality and Price of Customer Loyalty through Customer Satisfaction is 0,688. Therefore the direct influence coefficient greater than the coefficient of direct influence.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to study the effects of supervisors’ effectiveness in using leadership power, supervisor’s mental model and team effectiveness on labours’ commitment to organization. The research was conducted in 2011 involving 250 labours of PT.KGM who were selected as respondents using simple random approach. The result of this research indicated the direct effects of: (1) supervisors’ effectiveness in using leadership power toward labour’s commitment to organization; (2) supervisors’ mental model toward labours’ commitment to organization and (3) team effectiveness toward labours’ commitment to organization. The result of this research also showed the indirect effects of: (1) the supervisor’s effectiveness in using leadership power toward labour’s commitment to organization through the team effectiveness; (2) supervisors’ mental model toward labour commitment to organization through the team effectiveness; This research conducted that labour’s commitment toorganization positively influenced by the supervisors’ effectiveness in using leadership power, supervisor’s mental model and team effectiveness.

Abstract

This study is performed to examine the influence of variable Return On Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio and Sales Growth on Dividend Policy in go public companies in the Indonesian stock exchange (IDX) at 2013. The population in this study is listed companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange at 2013. Obtained a total sample of 44 companies. The analysis technique used here is multiple linear regression and hypothesis test using F and t statistic with level of significance 5%. The results showed that the Return On Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio and Sales Growth simultaneously influence on Dividend Policy. The coefficient of determination (R2) in this research was 0.149 that means 14.9% dividend policy can be explained by the variable Return On Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio and Sales Growth, while the remaining 85.1% explained by other variables that are not used in this study. Partially, only Sales Growth variable has negative influence on Dividend Policy.

Abstract

This study was conducted to prove the influence of eps, proceeds, and underwriter reputation to the underpricing in companies doing an IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the period from 2011 to 2013. The study use secondary data obtained from Indonesian Stock Exchange (ISE) website and the annual financial statements that audited and published. Population in this research is Initial Public Offering (IPO) companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (ISE) in the period 2011-2013. Sampling technique using purposive sampling method, and obtained a sample 0f 60 IPO and Underpricing companies. Data analysis technique use is multiple linear regression analysis. Hypotesis testing is done by using the F test statistics and t test statistics with a confidence level of 5%. The results showed that EPS, Proceeds, Underwriter Reputation simultaneously influence on Underpricing. Then, the results showed that only Proceeds has negative influence on Undepricing. While Earning Per Share (EPS) and Underwriter Reputation has no influence on Underpricing.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of variable Capital Adequacy (CAR), Non Performing Loans (NPL) and Liquidity (LDR) to Profitability (ROA) at the Commercial Bank. The population in this study is a registered commercial bank Bank Indonesia in 2011-2013. Data obtained from Bank Indonesia and the annual report published by the bank. The study sample was obtained by using purposive sampling method, and obtained a sample of 29 commercial banks. The analysis technique used is panel data and hypothesis testing using the F test and t test with a confidence level of 5%. Simultaneous research results indicate that the Capital Adequacy (CAR), Non Performing Loans (NPL) and Liquidity (LDR) to Profitability (ROA) significantly. Partially indicates that variable Non Performing Loans (NPL) and liquidity (LDR) significant effect on profitability (ROA). R2 value in this research is 0,759526, this mean that 75,95% of ROA variable could be explained by independent variables Capital Adequacy, Non Performing Loans and Liquidity. And 24,05% is explained by other variables outside the model of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examines the effect of firm size and institutional ownership on company performance with debt policy as intervening variable in consumer goods company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sample of this research amount 25 consumer goods company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2008-2011 that were selected by using purposive sampling method. The data used are secondary data from financial statements published by the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used here is path analysis. The result of the research show firm size and institutional ownership simultaneously significant effect on debt policy. Partially, firm size has no significant effect on debt policy, while institutional ownership has a significant effect on debt policy. In addition, firm size, institutional ownership, and debt policy simultaneously significant effect on company performance. Partially, firm size and institutional ownership has a significant effect on company performance, whereas no significant effect on company performance is debt policy. There is not indirect effect between firm size and institutional ownership on company performance through debt policy as intervening variable.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of Profitability (ROE), Leverage (DER) and Dividend Policy (DPR) on Firm Value (PBV) of listed companies in the ISE period 2013. The population in this study is from whole companies which listed in ISE during 2013 period. Data is taken from the company’s financial reports. Gained of total sample 50 companies. The analysis technique is using path analysis with multiple linear regression and single regression. Hypotesis test is using F test, t test, and R2 test with level of significance 5%. The results showing that Profitability (ROE) has no significance influence on Dividen Policy (DPR), Leverage (DER) has significance influence on Dividend Policy (DPR). Profitability (ROE) has significance influence on Firm Value (PBV), Leverage (DER) and Dividend Policy has no significance influence on Firm Value (PBV). We suggest to investors in Indonesia Stock Exchange to notice another factors that influence the Firm Value (PBV) in making decision of investments. The Profitability variable (ROE) in this study has the most influence on Firm Value variable (PBV), which proven by smaller number of t-count than t-table and has significance number 0,000.
