Abstract

ABSTRAKKelembak merupakan tanaman yang berasal dari dataran Tengah China yang banyak digunakan untuk pengobatan tradisional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keragaan pertumbuhan sembilan aksesi kelembak dari berbagai daerah di Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sembilan aksesi kelembak terbagi menjadi 2 varian yaitu kelembak jamu dan kelembak jawa yang kemudian ditanam pada lokasi yang sama menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang berbeda. Kelembak jamu menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelembak jawa.Kata kunci : kelembak, aksesi, keragaan pertumbuhan

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to (1) analyze the differences in rice farming of Ciherang and Mekongga varieties, (2) to determine R/C ratio of rice farming in Ciherang and Mekongga varieties, (3) to determine the factors that influence the differences of income in rice farming between Ciherang and Mekongga varieties. This study carried out at Rogomulyo village, Kaliwungu, Semarang. Allegedly factors that affecting the differences income are seed costs, pesticide costs, fertilizer costs, labor costs, grain prices, land area and dummy varieties. The number of farmers who planted Ciherang varieties was 211 people and the number of farmers who planted Mekongga varieties was 158 people. Simple random sampling technique with a sample of 40 Ciherang varieties and 40 Mekongga rice farmers. Data collection is done through interview using questionnaires. Analysis of the data used inclued analysis of unpaired t-test (independent sample t-test), R/C ratio, and multiple linier regression. The results showed that the difference in income of rice farmers of Ciherang and Mekongga varieties was Rp 1.507,056/Ha/planting season but statistically different. The R/C ratio of Ciherang variety rice farming is 2,39 while the R/C ratio of Mekongga varieties is 1,79. Factors that influence income differences are fertilizer costs, labor costs, grain prices, grain prices, land area and production while aeed costs, pesticidae costs, dummy varities have no effect.  Keywords : Ciherang R/C ratio, Mekongga R/C ratio, Income difference, Rice farming.

Abstract

Kampung Cau Padjadjaran (KCP) is an agency and bananas distributor that has the empowerment and utilization activities of local bananas. KCP partnered with several villages in the cities and districts of West Java, such as Sumedang, Sukabumi, Tasikmalaya, Garut, and Purwakarta. Up to now, KCP need to fulfill the market demand reaches 10 tons per week. Currently, KCP collects the data directly by visiting each village partners that each village is far enough to be visited, these are considered inefficient because it can be a waste of time and energy on the go and also the 10 tons bananas data per week is a high amount of data to be managed. To facilitate the achievement of the KCP objectives as a unit that raises superior local wisdom, hence the design of the web-based information systems will be conducted that can be used to manage the KCP banana database. In addition, it is also expected to enhance the empowerment of local communities each village partner by managing the information systems. The designing is conducted through several stages, such as the early stage (field observations), the designing stage (needs analysis, user-interface web design, programming implementation) and the final stage (testing of information systems, research results and conclusion). The expected result is a system that empowers youth and improving the welfare of banana farmers by providing pertinent information availability of bananas each partner KCP village in West Java.

Abstract

The distribution of refined sugar (RS) for small and medium industries (SMI) of the food has suffered a lot of misappropriation. To overcome it, the government will implement the auction system. The purposes of this research are 1) to identify conditions and problems the distribution of RS for SMI of food; 2) to know the readiness of SMI of food in facing RS auction system; and 3) to provide recommendations for improvement of the RS auction system. This research was conducted in Yogyakarta Province on November 2017. Research respondents are Industry and Trade Offices in DIY, food association, SMI of food and RS distributors. The problems in the distribution of RS are SMI didn’t know about the rules of RS distribution, the distribution of RS is not according to government regulations and the food association was unable to accommodate the trade of RS. SMI hasn’t been able to participate in the auction system so it needs 1) the government conducts of socialization and supervision of the RS trading system; 2) SMI establishes business units and obtain capital facilitations and 3) the government gives authorizes for BULOG to distribute RS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan biji wijen kandungan gizi yang diuji proksimat dan daya terima sensori tempe biji kecipir. Rancangan penelitan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) factorial dengan tiga taraf yaitu: W1: 5% dari 100 gram berat biji kecipir, W2: 10% dari 100 gram berat biji kecipir, W3: 15% dari 100 gram berat biji kecipir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penambahan biji wijen (W) berpengaruh nyata terhadap analisis proksimat pada variabel (kadar abu, lemak, serat kasar dan HCN) dan terhadap analisis sensoris pada variabel (tekstur dan aroma). Perlakuan terbaik pada analisis proksimat dan sensoris adalah perlakuan penambahan biji wijen 15% dengan kadar protein  30.53 %, HCN 0.02 mg/100g, kadar air 20.06 %, kadar abu 2.64%, lemak 11. 80%, serat kasar 6.49 % dan karbohidrat by difference 35.30%; dengan nilai kesukaan padawarna 2.69 (agak kusam), tekstur 2.67 (agak keras), bau 2.31 (bau “langu”), rasa 2.86 (hambar), kenampakan 3.26 (agak kompak) dan kesukaan 2.34 (agak suka). Tempe Biji Kecipir, Biji Wijen, Proksimat, Sensoris.

Abstract

Anggrek Dendrobium banyak digunakan dalam rangkaian bunga karena memiliki kesegaran yang relatif lama, warna dan bentuk bunganya bervariasi, tangkai bunga lentur sehingga mudah dirangkai, dan produktivitasnya tinggi. Bunga anggrek potong yang dipasarkan tentunya harus mempunyai kualitas yang baik. Salah satunya adalah umur kesegaran bunga anggrek potong yang cukup panjang, yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh perlakuan atau penanganan pascapanen. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pengaplikasian, konsentrasi kalsium klorida, dan interaksi dalam memperpanjang vase life bunga anggrek potong Dendrobium ‘Sonia’. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2018 sampai September 2018 di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas Pertanian Unsoed (7°24’29”S dan 109°15’13”T). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah metode pengaplikasian kalsium klorida (direndam dan disemprot) dan faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi kalsium klorida (0 ppm, 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 60 ppm, dan 80 ppm). Variabel yang diamati meliputi jumlah kuntum bunga, persentase kuntum mekar, persentase kuntum layu, persentase kuntum gugur, persentase penyakit, vase life, volume larutan terserap, dan warna bunga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi kalsium klorida 80 ppm dapat memperpanjang vase life bunga anggrek potong Dendrobium ‘Sonia’ selama 44,50 hari.

Abstract

In modern society a healthy lifestyle is one measure of quality standards. A healthy lifestyle can be started by consuming organic vegetables. Crispy Farm is a place for cultivating organic vegetables with Hydroponic techniques, by means of hydroponic aquaculture which is currently increasingly being applied among homes. Organic vegetables are vegetables that are produced from natural ingredients without using synthetic chemicals. This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing mix which includes: prices, products, promotions and distribution on consumer decisions to buy Hydroponic vegetables at Crispy Farm. This research uses quantitative methods, with data collection techniques using primary data and secondary data. The research area was established in Banyumanik District, namely Jl. Tejosari, Gedawang Village, Banyumanik District, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The research was conducted from October to December 2018. The results showed that the factors that had a significant effect were the price of hydroponic vegetables (X1), Vegetable Hydroponic Products (X2) and Promotions Conducted by Crispy Fram (X3) on Decisions of Hydroponic Vegetable Consumers. While the factors that have no significant effect are the distribution of Hydroponic Vegetables (X4) to the decisions of hydroponic vegetable consumers (Y).

Abstract

Tanah sulfat masam merupakan salah satu  tanah suboptimal, memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan budidaya tanaman, namun  memiliki keterbatasan : rendahnya kadar  pH tanah, hara N,P dan K, kapasitas tukar kation, kejenuhan basa, tingginya kadar Al, Fe, Mn,  maka alternatif penggunaan bahan organik  tersedia lokal seperti tandan kosong sawit (TKKS) berpeluang dimanfaatkan menjadi kompos yang diperkaya  untuk memperbaiki kesuburan tanah tersebut . Belum ada rekomendasi khusus tentang aplikasi kompos yang diperkaya pada tanah sulfat masam. Anjuran umum yaitu aplikasi kompos secara tunggal dengan dosis 5-15 ton/ha. Sehingga perlu metode baru melalui perlakuan pengayaan  kompos (compost enrichment) dengan  amalioran yang tersedia lokal seperti lumpur laut dan biochar sekam padi. Penelitian bertujuan : menghasilkan dosis terbaik  kompos TKKS  diperkaya  yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen (experiment design), dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sungai Rengas Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, mulai bulan Maret sampai Juli 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa perlakuan t3 (aplikasi kompos  TKKS, lumpur laut sebanyak 15 ton/ha)   memberikan pengaruh  nyata terhadap jumlah anakan produktif tanaman padi yaitu sebanyak 18,58 anakan. Selanjutnya untuk variabel tinggi tanaman padi, perlakuan t3 juga menghasilkan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu 89,33 cm. Perlakuan t8 (aplikasi kompos  TKKS, lumpur laut dan arang sekam padi sebanyak 10 ton/ha) menghasilkan berat gabah tertinggi yaitu 346,3 gram/m2, dan perlakuan t9 (aplikasi sebanyak 15 ton/ha ketiga bahan tersebut) menghasilkan berat gabah 1000 butir tertinggi yaitu 24,989 gram.                                                                                                   Kata kunci : Kompos, Lumpur Laut, Tanah Sulfat Masam
