Abstract

Abstract - This study aims to reveal the contribution of the way of learning towards the learning outcomes of Stairs Construction Drawing course of Class XI students of Building Drawing Engineering at SMKN 2 Padangsidimpuan. The population was 40 students of Class XI of Building Drawing Engineering at SMKN 2 Padangsidimpuan. Sample was taken by using total sampling technique. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires containing statements about learning method that were distributed to respondents. Secondary data in the form of learning outcomes were obtained from teachers of the course. Data analysis techniques used are: (1) descriptive analysis, (2) test of analysis requirements, and (3) hypothesis test. From the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a contribution of the way of learning towards the learning outcomes of Stairs Construction Drawing course of Class XI students of Building Drawing Engineering at SMKN 2 Padangsidimpuan. The value of the contribution is 19.80%.Keywords: contribution, Way of learning, learning outcome

Abstract

Abstract— This research aims to determine the relevance of the curriculum with the skills requirements at PT. Waskita Karya Indarung VI Project on the Civil Building Engineering Study Program (D3) UNP, and knew the opinions and skills are needed by PT. Waskita Karya is based on the curriculum taught, because it is ready to face the world of work. This research is descriptive research and the sample of this study used the Purposive Sampling method, with a sample of 11 employees of PT. Waskita Karya. The used instrument is a questionnaire that aims to measure skill needs variables with statement items as many as 154 items. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum of the Building Civil Engineering Program (D3) in 2017 has a connection and a closer relationship with the skills needed by PT. Waskita Karya Project Indarung VI. From this explenation be concluded that there is a relevance of the curriculum with skills needs in the world of work in the Building Civil Engineering Study Program (D3) of 82%. Keywords: Requirement of skills, Curriculum of Civil Engineering Building, PT. Abstract

Abstract—This study aims to determine the relationship between Information and Comunications Technology (ICT) capabilities and Learning Drawing With Software (MDPL) Class XI Building Engineering and Modeling Information Design Department (TDPIB) at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. This type of research is a correlation research with a population of 30 students and using the technique of Total Sampling. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through Exams, while secondary data is learning outcomes MDPL subject at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat on June - December 2018. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive Analysis, 2) Normality Test, 3) Linearity Test and 4) Hypothesis Test. The results of this study concluded that there is a high relationship between ICT capabilities and MDPL Class XI Building Engineering and Modeling Information Design Department (TDPIB) at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. Abstract

Abstract­— This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of technical drawing subjects in the Department of Building Drawing Engineering at SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. This study aims to determine how much the relationship between Emosional Quotient and learning outcomes of technical drawings. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were students of class XI TGB expertise program at SMK 2 Payakumbuh. The number of students is 51 people from 2 classes. The study sample consisted of all students of class XI TGB totaling 51 people. Sampling uses total sampling. The variables studied were 2 variables. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The number of statements on the questionnaire are 35 items. Before data collection was carried out, a trial was conducted on class XI students of the TGB expertise program at SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang, which numbered 21 people. This is done to find out whether the instrument is valid and reliable. Data were analyzed manually and using the SPSS 17.00 application. The result of the correlation coefficient is 0.427 which means it is strong enough, with a level of α 0.002 <0.05 which means significant. Keywords: Emosional Intelegent, The Results of Learning, Technical Drawings

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to find out the influence of social-economy status of a parent toward the entrepreneurship interest of Civil Engineering students. This research applies Descriptive quantitative method with a total population of 77 students of Civil Engineering and Building 2017, FT UNP. The technique of sampling the data by using Proporsive Random Sampling with 47 persons of the total sample. The technique of collecting the data by using a questionnaire method. Before conducting research on 47students, the research trial is conducted with 30 students of Civil Engineering and Building 2017, FT UNP. The trial aims to find out whether the instrument use is valid and reliable. The processing data in this research by using the SPSS 16.00program. The result of this study indicates that there is no influence between the last education and income of a parent towards the interest in entrepreneurship in Civil Engineering and Building students of 2017. Keywords: Parent’s last education, parent’s income, interest in entrepreneurship, Civil Engineering and Building 2017.

Abstract

Abstract— This research was motivated by the absence of real calculations regarding the size of the unit cost of workshop in the building departement . The purpose of this research is to reveal the real unit cost of woodworking practice for each student of Wood Construction Engineering Expertise Program in SMK N 2 Sijunjung based on the job given. The data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative descriptive analysis. The subjects were syllabus/curriculum, teaching materials, and the job sheet of the Wood Construction Engineering Expertise Program at SMK N 2 Sijunjung. Data were gained from observation, direct documentation in the woodworking workshop and direct interviews with deputy of headmaster, head of department, head of workshop and teachers of practical course of Wood Construction Engineering Department in SMK Negeri 2 Sijunjung.Based on the results of data analysis of unit cost, the cost needed for woodworking practice material in class XII is Rp 8.061.000,00 each semester for 23 students. The woodworking practice uses disposable materials (wood) that cannot be recycled or reused, so that new materials must be purchased every year. Keywords: Work Practice Financing, Building Department

Abstract

Abstract—. This research is backgrounded by the low learning outcomes of Technical Drawing of class XI in the Department of Building Engineering at SMK N 1 Padang. This study aims to reveal contribution of interest in learning towards the results of learning Technical Drawings of class XI in the Department of Building Engineering at SMK N 1 Padang. This type is descriptive correlational with a population of all students of class XI in the Department of Building Engineering at SMK N 1 Padang 2018/2019 academic year which amounted to 119 peoples. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling method with Slovin formula. The samples is 90 peoples. The type of data used is in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through the dissemination of student learning interest questionnaires, while secondary data is report values in odd quantities of technical drawing subjects of class XI Building Engineering Department at SMK N 1 Padang 2017/2018 academic year. The results showed that interest in learning contributes to student learning outcomes by 27.35%. therefore  we need to efforts increase strudents’ learning to be done to achieve good learning outcome.Keywords: Interest in Learning, Learning Outcomes, Tecnical Drawings

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to find out the relationship between the interest in being a teacher and teaching readiness. This type of research is quantitative correlational. This research was conducted in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. Informants / respondents in this study were students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University who had participated in the Educational Field Experience Program for the period July-December 2017 and the period January-June 2018. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires. While the Sampling Technique used is Random sampling. Random sampling technique is a data collection technique in whichtechniques are selected from the population. Reasons for taking random sampling because the population of 60 people is sufficient for trials and research so that the randomly selected population for the trial sample of 30 people was issued as the study sample, the study sample was taken from respondents who were not selected for the trial. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the interest in being a teacher and teaching readiness of students in building engineering education. Keywords: Interest in Being a Teacher, Teaching Readiness

Abstract

Abstract—. The research was conducted in smkn 2 banda aceh and based on the following conditions there are still many grader student of majoring in the construction of buildings smkn 2 banda aceh that they received a score under kkm on the subjects of the construction of buildings the building.The contribution of this study aims to to express preference for school learning of the results of the building construction grader student of majoring in the construction of buildings smkn 2 banda aceh.The kind of research used is research with the approach of correlational quantitative. descriptiveThe population is majoring in grader student of building as many as 36 people.Using a technique the total sample the sampling method of. The primary data was collected through such research to be distributed to respondents.Secondary data research obtained from subject teachers the construction of buildings buildings in the forms of uas value grader student of majoring in the construction of buildings.The technique of analysis of the data used was: ( 1 ) descriptive analysis, ( 2 ) test the requirements of the analyses consisting of the trial normality and test it linieritas ( 3 ) an hypothesis. testIt can be concluded from the research there is the contribution of the results of preference for school learning the construction of buildings buildings in smkn 2 banda aceh as much as 76,03 %.Keywords: interest, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract—This study began with the implementation of student learning Image Engineering Buildings experienced problems in using applications in which some students have less ability and are slow to do tasks. This study aims to reveal how student learning can be fulfilled properly if students' learning difficultiin terms of internal factors and external factors. This type of research is descriptive. This research was conducted on students majoring in Building Image Engineering with the number of respondents 32 students. Research data in the form of primary data obtained directly from respondents with instruments in the form of questionnaires arranged on a Likert scale with four scales. The results of the study show that in the sub-factor internal factors, indicators of biological factors are in the sufficient category and indicators of psychological factors are also in the sufficient category which means that student learning has not been fulfilled properly. For sub-variables of external factors, indicators of family factors and school factors are in the sufficient category which means that student learning has not been fulfilled properly, while the factor indicators of society are in the which means that student learning is not well fulfilled.Keywords: Difficulty of Learning, Students,  Engineering Drawings.
