Abstract

Contextual learning which is commonly known as Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a learning concept that links learning material with the actual (real) conditions at home, school, and community. Students can be expected to think critically in solving problems in learning. In the context of learning this CTL method encourages students to find and explore their own knowledge. So that it can increase students learning motivation because basically the CTL method contains the principle of questioning, with this principle students, are more active as recipients, and there feedback during the learning process. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research was motivated by the low self-confidence development of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. It is suspected that the cause of the child's low self-confidence is partly due to the inappropriate application of parenting methods. This study aims to: 1) describe the parenting methods applied by parents to children; 2) describes the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years; and 3) looking at the relationship between parenting methods and the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City.This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were children aged 6-7 years and their mothers as many as 50 people with a sample of 75%, namely 38 people with simple random sampling technique. The data technique used a questionnaire and a check for the observation of children's self-confidence development, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and formula-data-moment.The results of this study indicate: 1) the parenting methods applied by parents to children aged 6-7 years are still inaccurate and inconsistent; 2) the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years is still low; and 3) there is a significant relationship between parenting methods and the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. Research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that parents in Anak Air Kelurahan Batipuh Panjang Padang City can pay attention to and apply the application of parenting methods to children so that they can contribute to the development of children's self-confidence as expected; and 2) it is hoped that further researchers can find or examine other variables that affect the development of children's self-confidence. Keywords: self-confidence, parenting methods, family education

Abstract

This study aims to reveal an overview of the application of andragogical principles in training, the learning outcomes of the training participants to sew clothes, and reveal the relationship between the application of andragogical principles and the learning outcomes of the training participants to sew clothes based on the initial observations that the author has made, located at Balai Work Training (BLK) in Padang. The results of the observations show that the high learning outcomes of the training participants are thought to be caused by the application of andragogical principles to the sewing training. This type of research is a correlational study that uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was the training participants in sewing clothes for the January-March period this year. The sampling technique is saturated sampling and the sample is the whole population. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire and the tools used were questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the percentage formula and the Spearman Rho formula. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the application of andragogical principles in sewing good clothes; 2) the learning outcomes of the training participants to sew clothes are classified as good; 3) there is a significant relationship between the application of andragogical principles and learning outcomes in sewing training at the Vocational Training Center (BLK) in Padang. The suggestion of this research is that it is hoped that the instructor can deepen knowledge in teaching adults so that the results obtained are more optimal. Abstract

This research background by the low willingness of adolescent learning at Jorong Galagah, subdistrict Lembah Gumanti, of Solok district. This is condition think because still low guidance from parents. So this research aims to describe parent guidance, describe the willingness of adolescents to learn, and then look correlation between parent guidance with the willingness of adolescents learning. This research is quantitative with correlation type. The sampling technique used in this research is stratified random sampling. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire and using product moment formula to look correlation between parent guidance with the willingness of adolescents learning. The result of research point out that: (1 ) parental guidance on adolescents at Jorong Galagah, subdistrict Lembah Gumanti, of Solok district is still very low. (2) the willingness of adolescent learning at Jorong Galagah, subdistrict Lembah Gumanti, of Solok district classified in the low category. (3) there is a significant correlation between parent guidance with the willingness of adolescents learning at Jorong Galagah, subdistrict Lembah Gumanti, of Solok district. Suggested to parents to further improve their guidance to adolescents in learning, furthermore, adolescents are expected to increase their willingness to learn.Keywords: Parental Guidance, Willingness to Learn

Abstract

The role of parents is very big for the development of their children. Parental care for children affects the personality of the child in adulthood. The lack of development of the character of responsibility for children aged 5-6 years in Korong Sungai Pinang, Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman Regency is suspected to be one of the causes because in this area many parents of children have a background of getting married at a young age. So that they are not yet mature in educating their children. This study aims to determine the relationship of child care in young married families with the development of the character of responsibility in children aged 5-6 years in Sungai Pinang, Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai District. This research belongs to a quantitative type of correlational research. Parents who are married at a young age who have children aged 5-6 years in Korong Sungai Pinang, Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai District, totaling 26 people, the sample of this study took 19 parents with the sample technique. purposive sampling. Data analysis using Spearman rho test. Based on the results of the research, the description of child care in young married families in Korong Sungai Pinang, Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai District is categorized as less accomplished , the description of the development of the character of responsibility in children aged 5-6 years is categorized as less developed and there is a relationship of childcare in families who marry young with the development of the character of responsibility in children aged 5-6 years in Sungai Pinang, Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai District. Abstract

The problems faced as a necessity for implementing entrepreneurial development programs are: (1) business management towards a better direction, so as to reduce the risk of business loss due to efficiency; (2) the increasing public interest in shopping using digital platforms (online shopping) demands a more efficient product marketing concept; (3) empowerment of communities around the business location so that it can assist the production and marketing processes and can become an alternative for business activities that support the economy of the surrounding communities. The method used is a qualitative approach as initial data from research which is realized through training activities for students. Ten students who were targeted were the participants of the training activities. The results obtained are: (1) training on the use of digital platforms for business management; (2) training on the use of digital platforms for business promotion; and (3) training for establishment and empowerment of community business groups.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis is reseach is motivated by the lack of participation of posyandu cadres in carrying out posyandu activities in Nagari Sumpur Kudus,  which is allegedly due to the interest of posyandu cadres in carrying out posyandu avtivities in Nagari Sumpur Kudus , Sumpur Kudus District, Sijunjung District. This study aims to: (1) describe the interest of posyandu cadres, (2) describe the participation of posyandu cadres, and (3) see the relationship between interests and posyandu cadre participation in Nagari Sumpur Kudus. This research is a correlational quantitative study. The population in this study were all posyandu cadres in Nagari Sumpur Kudus , amounting to 25 people. While the sample was taken as much as 80% of the population, amounting to 20 people with random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and rank order correlation formula. The result showed that: (1) the interest of posyandu cadres in carrying out posyandu activities was categorized as less (2) the participation of posyandu cadres in carrying out the posyandu activities was reletively low , and (3) there was a significant relationship between interest  in posyandu cadres in Nagari Sumpur Kudus district Sumpur Kudus Sumpur Kudus Regency of Sijunjung.Keywords: interest, participation

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the low moral development of children, this is evidenced by their behavior in everyday life and can distinguish good or bad deeds. This is thought to be caused by several factors, one of which is the lack of parental attention to children. This study aims to see a picture of parental attention, to see a picture of early childhood moral development and the relationship between parental attention and moral development of children aged 5-6 years in Korong Salisikan Nagari Sungai Buluah Timur Batang Anai. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The population in this study parents who have early childhood are 43 people. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique as many as 35 people. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire or questionnaire, while the data analysis used the percentage formula and the product moment. The results showed that the description of parental attention to children was in the low category, the description of early childhood moral development was in the low category and there was a significant relationship between parental attention and moral development of early childhood in Korong Salisikan Nagari Sungai Buluah Timur Batang Anai.Keywords: parental attention, early childhood moral development

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan luar sekolah merupakan kegiatan yang dirancang secara tersusun di luar jalur persekolahan, yang mana kegiatannya dilaksanakan secara sendiri atau membentuk bidang yang bermanfaat untuk mengasah kemampuan serta keterampilan, yang dilaksanakan agar dapat mambantu masyarakat agar tercapai tujuan belajarnya.TPA lembaga pendidikan islam bersifat nonformal guna membantu orang tua dalam membimbing dan mengajarkan anak-anak memperdalam wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang pendidikan islam. Pendidikan ini tergolong pada jalur pendidikan nonformal yang diorietasikan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan. Pendidikan keagamaan terutama kemampuan membaca dan menghafal Al-Quran.Teman sebaya adalah salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang dalam berbagai hal, seperti salah satunya adalah kedisiplinan, kedisiplinan  yang dimiliki oleh anak mudah dipengaruhi oleh teman sebaya, sebab teman sebaya merupakan seseorang teman yang memiliki usia serta berkembangan yang sama, dan juga memiliki keinginan yang sama dalam menjalin pergaulan dengan anak yang seusia dengannnya.Sebagai seorang warga belajar, sangat dibutuhkan untuk menumbuhkan sikap disiplin dalam kegiatan aktivitas pembelajaran. kedisiplinan belajar bertujuan agar aktivitas belajarnya bisa menjadi teratur, hasil memuaskan didapatkannya yang serupa terhadap tujuan yang diinginkan. Pembahasan mengenai disiplin belajar akan berkaitannya dengan motivasi, dorongan, kepribadian dan pengetahuan.Kata Kunci: TPA dan pendidikan formal.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) internal factors that influence the lack of interest in adolescents in education in the village of Pinjauan Tinggi. 2) External factors that influence the lack of interest in adolescents in education in the village of Pinjauan Tinggi. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observation. Data analysis was performed using an interactive analysis model. The data validity technique uses data and source triangulation techniques. The result showed that: 1) internal factors that influence are: (a) lack of motivation of adolescents to continue their education, (b) choosing migrants looking for work, 2) external factors that influence: (a) Parents income, (b) school environmental, (c) community environmental factors.Keywords: Interest, Education Youth, Internal Factors, External Factors
