Abstract

Tunarungu merupakan keadaan seseorang yang memiliki kelainan pada fungsi pendengarannya. Kondisi ini bisa berlangsung hanya sementara maupun permanen. Ada dua jenis gangguan pendengaran yang membuat seseorang menjadi penyandang tunarungu, pertama tunarungu yang bersifat bawaan (sudah ada sejak lahir), kedua tunarungu yang terjadi setelah dilahirkan. Tunarungu yang bersifat bawaan kemungkinan besar disebabkan oleh suatu mutasi genetik, keturunan dari orang tua, maupun terpapar penyakit ketika masih di dalam kandungan. Sedangkan tunarungu yang sifatnya terjadi setelah lahir biasanya disebabkan oleh penerimaan gelombang suara yang keras dalam jangka panjang, usia, cedera, dan disebabkan oleh penyakit tertentu, seperti infeksi pada pendengaran. Komunikasi merupakan suatu kegiatan penyampaian pesan yang bertujuan terjalinnya hubungan antara komunikan dengan pemberi pesan. Permasalan yang muncul ketika bagaimana berkomunikasi dengan penyandang tunarungu, dimana komunikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahasa isyarat. Sedangkan dalam penggunaan bahasa isyarat tidak semua orang bisa dan paham dalam pengunaannya. Maka peneliti mengembangkan aplikasi speech recognition dengan fitur speech to text untuk mengubah suara ke teks berbasis android dalam mempermudah berkomunikasi dengan para penyandang tunarungu, sehingga setiap orang dapat berkomunikasi walaupun tanpa memahami bahasa isyarat tertentu. Metode Learning Vector Quantization merupakan suatu metode untuk melakukan pembelajaran pada lapisan kompetitif yang terawasi, dimana metode LVQ digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi keakuratan dan ke murnian suara yang di tangkap. Pengambangan sistem tersebut menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD).

Abstract

A good level of health enables everyone to live socially and economically productive lives. The government has determined the acceleration of stunting reduction as the main project because the proportion of stunted children under five is a very important parameter for the development of human and national capital. Based on data, the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is the area with the highest prevalence of stunting in Indonesia but the second lowest Information Technology Development Index in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design and build applications for promotion and services for maternal and child health to overcome stunting in the province of NTT, so that improving the quality of health promotions and services, can have an impact on changes in public health services. The design and development of this application use a spiral model so that the application can later be adopted for use within the scope of the NTT Province and continue to be improved and developed in the future. This application is built using Code Igniter 4 framework and MySQL database. In this web-based application for promotion and maternal and child health services, it will be easier for people in NTT Province to get information about immunization schedules, location of health facilities, learning articles, and local government publications related to maternal and child health within the scope of NTT Province. Abstract

Honey Home Company specializes in providing high-quality honey; however, the company is experiencing numerous difficulties in monitoring the business changes; thus, implementing an ERP system might adjust these issues. This study aims to identify the ERP system's requirements to fulfill the company's needs, design and implement the system, and highlight the benefits of implementing the system in the business. A qualitative method of interviewing the system's users and providing a survey questionnaire was utilized to analyze the impacts of implementing an ERP System on the business. The findings indicate that Honey Home Company benefited from the ERP System regarding time savings, information quality, service quality, user satisfaction, and staff performance.

Abstract

In recent years, the implementation of subsea pipelines for oil and gas transportation has increased. One of the important aspects of the design process of the subsea pipeline is scour prediction. Scouring causes the subsea pipeline to lose its support and is susceptible to failure due to deflection. This paper presents the result of a literature review of scouring-related research to obtain a method to increase scouring prediction accuracy. Based on the literature research, it is known that the errors found in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are mainly affected by the flow models. Existing flow models cannot fully represent the complexity of turbulent flow that occurs during the scouring process. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) can reduce the error value. But, the CFD-ANN hybrid methods can potentially decrease the error value by about 20% more than CFD. Therefore, the CFD-ANN hybrid method is expected to be a new method that could be used to predict subsea pipeline scouring in the oil and gas industry.
