An inductive-deductive approach is a learning approach that can enable students to build knowledge. on the material Writing anecdotal text. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of Learning with an inductive-deductive approach. The population of this study is all students of class X. The research design used is posttest only control design. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling, Hypothesis testing is done using t test to posttest value. From the results of the hypothesis test obtained pretest value of 60.40 and posttest grade experimental class has reached mastery learning with a portion of 73.05. In testing affective and psychomotor aspects, the average value of experimental class learning outcomes is better than control class. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the learning with the inductive-deductive approach is effective on the result of learning Indonesian on the material of writing anecdotal text.

Abstract

The problem found in the evaluation course is when developing the student test instrument is difficult to understand in preparing the test tool based on cognitive level that must be adjusted with the indicator, as well as in preparing the skill test. Their difficulty lies in the preparation of rubrics as the translation of learning objectives in the skill domain. In addition, arranging non-test tools such as observation sheets, interview guides, and questionnaires also experienced some obstacles. On the basis of that, efforts to improve the ability of students in the course of Learning Evaluation, especially in preparing test kits and non-test through jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The purpose of this research are: 1) describe the implementation of teaching Indonesian Language Evaluation Course using jigsaw type cooperative learning model; 2) to describe the student's response in the process of teaching implementation. The course of Indonesian Language Evaluation uses cooperative learning model of jigsaw type: and 3) describes the student's ability in preparing the evaluation tool of test and non-test after implementing the learning using jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The results of the implementation of the lesson study of Evaluation learning using jigsaw type cooperative learning model through Lesson Study for Learning Community can improve the collaborative, communication, critical thinking, and creative ability of the students. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a reference for teachers to enrich references on learning models that can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is to know the difference of learning effectiveness using deductive approach and ordinary approach used by a teacher in this case study based on curriculum 2013. In improving the performance of writing skill of poem. This research method is a quasi-experiment research. Data collection was done with pre-test and post-test. Achievement of poem writing skills is measured using objective description and questionnaire/ attitude scale. The results showed that (1) there was a significant difference between learning using the deductive approach and the usual approach in improving the performance of poem writing skills, shown in the Independent Samples Tes test for Equality of Means, with sig score. (2 tailed) of 0.026 (2) that the motivation to learn greatly affect the learning achievement of writing poem, this is shown in the output of Independent Samples T-test column for Equality of Means, with sig score. (2 tailed) of 0.153 (3) there is a significant correlation between learning motivation and achievement with a correlation coefficient of 0.736 (strong).

Abstract

Poetry is one of the materials in Indonesian-language-curriculum subject especially in Junior High School level. However, based on the field studies result, students still have difficulties to understand about poetry concepts. Therefore, researchers have submitted a solution for students to understand that concept of poetry can be easier by applying ‘Metaphorical Thinking’ approach that learns about the knowledge of poetry. The purpose of this research is to find out if Metaphorical Thinking approach is better in helping student to understand concept of poetry more than student who learns using conventional approach. The research method used is quasi experiment which means Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Furthermore, the samples in this research is 20 students of eight-grade from Innovative Al-Ibda Junior High School. Moreover, the technic of data analysis for students test result is by using SPSS 23. Based on the results in SPSS 23, it turned out that experiments class using Metaphorical Thinking approach gained better study result than control class. That result was proved by value Sig 0,000<0,05 in Independent Samples Test table. That result is also accorded with obtaining post-test average value in experiment class which is 80,5 while the average of control class is 64.

Abstract

Students have difficulties in learning to analyze the drama text, from the initial observation done by the writer, the students consider the learning of analyzing the drama is easy learning, so the students tend to be lazy to learn and study it, the students feel that learning to analyze the drama text is easy to learn because the material has been studied when in junior high .Reciprocal Teaching method will be suitable for learning in analyzing drama text and increasing student independence. The method requires students to actively seek the material first to be delivered back to the students in front of the classThe research method used by the researcher is a qualitative method: Pre-Experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Postes Design research design. This method is done by taking preliminary data in the form of pre-test before the treatment, it is intended to measure the ability of students first to then be given treatment that is the application of learning by using methods Reciprocal Teaching, at the end of the treatment again given the final test or post-test, so the data comparison of students' ability before and after treatment. The result of the research is the average score of the students 'final test (post-test) which is higher than the pretest score of 7.31 and the average of the students' ability is 7.31% and there is significant difference between after and before the implementation of this method, that is t value (2,77)> t table (1,078) at 95% confidence level. This indicates that there is a positive result from the experiment of teaching and learning activity can work well, but the method has no correlation with the independence of learning, proved from the questionnaire of learning independence calculated using SPSS software there is a sig value. 0.157, which means the sig value. ie 0.157> 0.05.
