The aim of the thesis is to visualize the social life of hawkers into contemporary realist painting. The hawkers have also varied from child, teenagers, adults, men and women. There are five methods used in creating this, thesis, they are: preparation, elaboration stage, the stage of synthesis, and the realization phase began sketching concepts, moving sketch, preparation of tools and materials, working and finishing processes. The last stage is the completion of up to exhibit. Ten appointed work is to visualize the social life of hawkers in the works of contemporary realist painting as a great struggle carried hawkers to be able to continue to live under economic pressure.Kata kunci: Kehidupan sosial pedagang asongan, realis kontemporer

This study aims to reveal the: (1) The effect of the results of tests of intellectual ability to the learning outcomes of art theory (2) The effect of the results of tests of intellectual ability to the learning outcomes of art practice, and (3) Effect of the results of tests of intellectual ability to the learning outcomes of art combined theory and practice of students MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan.The results showed the effect of intellectual ability test results: (1) the learning outcomes of students of art theory with determination coefficient of 0.903 or 90.3%, (2) to learn the art of practice areas has a coefficient of determination of 0.896, or 89.6%, and (3) the results of the combined fields studied art theory and practice fields students with determination coefficient of 0.943, or 94.3%.Keywords: Intellectual Ability Test Results, Results Learning Art

The purpose of the study describes the types of materials, tools, and processes used in the manufacture of silverware in nagari (village) Koto Gadang Agam District. The process of making silver Koto Gadang still using traditional tools. The research method used qualitative descriptive. Data source used primary data and secondary data. Data collection by observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis is done by: data reduction, data display (presentation of data), drawing conclusions, checking the validity of findings with triangulation technique. The result of observation and interview in nagari Koto Gadang Agam Regency, that the process of making silver Koto Gadang by using raw materials from silver seeds are looking for silver collectors. The processing of raw materials is done using traditional equipment until now.Kata Kunci: Pembuatan Kerajinan Perak

The results of the study found that there is a significant and positive correlation between motivation and the learning result of art and culture subjects of students of grade VIII SMPN 35 Kota Padang, There is a significant and positive correlation between the independence of learning and learning outcomes in the subject of art and culture of students SMPN 35 Kota Padang, There is a significant and positive correlation between motivation and independence together with learning outcomes in the subject of art and culture of students SMPN 35 Kota Padang.Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Kemandirian, Hasil Belajar.

Th The purpose of the creation of this final work is to visualize the facial expressions of children of various forms, in the art of realist painting. The method of creation, using the five stages of preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, stage of concept realization and completion and exhibition. Using acrylic paint with brushstrokes technique and using colors that match the object. Ten works are made representing a theme that tells of the facial expressions of children. The author's interest in the theme of facial expressions of children because of his innocence. The purpose of the creation of the final work is to visualize and express the admiration, interest, and aesthetic experience of the author on the beauty /aesthetics of orchids through tapestry techniques. The method of creating artworks uses five stages: preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, concept realization stage, and completion stage and the last one is exhibition of tapestry. Tapestry works using techniques (Flat, Klim, Soumak, and Giordes) with embroidery techniques. In this work is a picture of anxiety writers against orchid flowers that have been on the verge of extinction. The purpose of this research is to know the form, function, and meaning found on People Chain Monument in Sawahlunto City. This research includes the type of qualitative research with descriptive approach and date collected in the form of the results of interviews, interview, images and not the numbers.The findings of this study, diantaranta are: 1) the form of the monument of this chain people are divided into two namely the top form, and the bottom form. 2) The monument of a chain man serves as a reminiscent of Mbah Suro and the chain person. 3) the monument of the chains has the meaning of struggle and proves the identity of the city of Sawhlunto as a mine tour city.Kata Kunci: Monumen, Bentuk, Fungsi, dan Makna

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of video tutorial media on the result of learning to draw a form in art lesson in SMP Negeri 3 Padang. This study uses a quantitative type of experimental research with the determination of samples using purposive random sample technique to grade VII students in SMP Negeri 3 Padang. The sample in this research is class VII.1 as the experimental class and class VII.2 as the control class. Data collection is done through the instrument of learning result test (action test). Data analysis techniques performed are normality test, homogentas test, and hypothesis testing phase. The conclusion of the research that video tutorial media has a significant influence on the result of learning to draw a from in art lesson in SMP Negeri 3 Padang.Keywords: Media Video Tutorials, Student Learning Results

This research was aimed to determinethe effect of using a scientific approach to the learning outcomes of students in fine arts at SMP Negeri 2 Padang. This type of research is quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that the class is taught by scientific approach to the learning outcomes different from whom were though by who are taught the conventional approach in SMP Negeri 2 Padang. Based on the hypothesis test carried out that the value of tvalue= 2,242 and ttable = 1,669 at the level of alpha = 0,05. This means that tvalue> ttable. It was concluded that the use of the scientific approach has positive influence on improving student learning outcomes in learning art in SMP Negeri 2 Padang.Kata kunci : Scientific Approaches, and Student Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this through to understand that there is an influence of using power point media to the result of art at grade Junior High School 27 Padang. The kind of through that used is experiment interpretation score of posttest and then by technique interpretation encode for processing Random Sampling. This encode for processing collected by the test in the result of lesson. Finding in this through showing that : the result of student’s in the lesson by using power point media is better, just than with students who teached without using a conventional media. That’s mean using power point media needed to all of students for improving the result of students in the lesson specially for art in art at Junior High School 27 Padang.Keywords: Power Point media
