Abstract

This final work aims to create jasmine flower through tapestry withvarious compositions. Techniques used in making this final work is the techniquegiordes, soumak technique, and flat technique. This final process of creationmethod uses five stages : preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage,concept realization stage starting from sketching, preparing tools and materials,moving sketches, making process, and finishing. The final stage is the completion of the exhibition and cataloging of works and reports. The resulting tapestry of jasmine flower is titled respectively: Tranquility, Puspa Bangsa, Happiness, Decoration, Tenderness, Sadness, Purity. It is hoped that this final work can be useful for art and society department. As a material appreciation and comparative work to create a better tapestry work in the future.Keywords : Jasmine Flower, Tapestry

Abstract

The purpose of the creation of this work is: Visualize the socio-cultural changes of Minangkabau society in the form of comics. Cultivated by applying the principles of art, such as unity, rhythm, balance and contrast. The coloration of this comic combines secondary and primary colors and in the preparation of drawings and sentences adjusting to the principle of layout and typography, with initial cultivation using a pencil and ending with the help of computer applications to present the work in the form of comic books. The process of cultivating this work using several stages, namely: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and finishing (finishing). The work tha  the author has written entitled "Ilham.Kata Kunci : Perubahan sosial Budaya, Minangkabau, Komik.

Abstract

Alahan Panjang Resort ini didirikan oleh Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Solok pada tahun1997 dan dikelola oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Solok. Dengan luas tanah keseluruhan lebihkurang 28 hektar. Sekarang telah mempekerjakan karyawan PNS 5 orang, PTT 1 orang, Satpam6 orang dan tenaga kebersihan 4 orang.Karya akhir ini selain bertujuan salah satu syarat untuk menamatkan perkuliahan S 1 diUniversitas Negri Padang juga bertujuan agar Alahan Panjang Resort dapat lebih dikenalmasyarakat sebagai salah satu objek wisata yang paling digemari para pengunjung danwisatawan.Selanjutnya pembuatan karya akhir yang bertemakan “Perancangan Coorporate IdentityAlahan Panjang Resort” ini penulis akan mendesain sebuah logo, media pendukung besertamedia-media promosi. Penulis akan mencoba untuk menerapkan visualisasi yang dapat mewakiliAlahan Panjang Resort tersebut dalam perancangan logo, media pendukung dan media promosi.Dalam perancangan tersebut penulis mencoba untuk menguraikan keunggulan-keunggulan dariAlahan Panjang Resort. Kemudian penulis mencoba mendesain dalam bentuk beberapa lay outkasar menjadi sebuah lay out komprehensif yang nantinya salah satu dipilih sebagai final desain.Kata kunci: perancangan logo, media pendukung dan media promosi

Abstract

The Avro RI-003 aircraft monument is a testament to the history of the Gadut struggle and its surroundings against the Dutch occupiers. The historical evidence of the struggle has been forgotten by the public. Lack of public appreciation of history is because people are reluctant to remember and remember the history of the people's struggle. Most of them assume that history is just part of the past and boring to remember. Many young people in Bukittinggi city especially children 9-12 years old do not know the history of the struggle. Adults, and teens, too, feel saturated with history as history has only been conveyed in the form of books dominated by writing.Keywords: Design, History, Picture Story, Media

Abstract

The basic problem of this design is, high school students do not understand the event organizer, and are not optimal in carrying out activities or activities at the event. The purpose of this design is to help students better understand the event organizer, through an educational medium in the form of comics. The design method used is glass box, where the final result of a work has been drawn from a rational process. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data will be processed using the 5W + 1H analysis approach (what, who, when, where, why, and how). Creative approach taken using supporting media: stickers, posters, t-shirts, e-books, x-banners, tote bags and note books. This educational comic will use visual characters in the form of high school children, using formal and non-formal language, and interspersed with non-comic pages and panels that contain explanations, photos, or infographics to assist in explaining the material.Keywords: Comik, Education, Event, Organizer, Student.

Abstract

Teachers in Elementary School Subdistrict IV Koto Agam District, especially Elementary School Gugus 01 Subdistrict IV Koto Agam experienced problems in the implementation of learning Arts and Skills Arts (SBK), especially craft materials. The reality that exists in the elementary school is that SBK learning is not well implemented. The main problem is that teachers do not master SBK material, especially craft materials. Based on these problems it was agreed with the Chairperson of Cluster 1 District IV Koto, that the priority issues to be resolved were concerning; 1) mastery of craft learning materials and 2) mastery of craft-making techniques from used goods. To overcome this problem, training was carried out to teachers, with the aim of increasing teacher mastery in craft learning, so as to improve the quality of SBK learning, especially craft material in Elementary School. The results of these activities are: Most of junior high school teachers have mastered the craft materials given, especially the technique of making handicrafts from used goods properly.

Abstract

Spesifikasi target luaran berupa jasa adalah minimal 70% materi: (1) menggambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing, dan (2) penilaian hasil belajar menggambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing dikuasai oleh peserta IbM. Spesifikasi target luaran berupa produk adalah dihasilkan: (1) Media presentasi menggambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing.(2) Media presentasi penilaian hasil belajar menggambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing. (3) Masing-masing satu model gambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing. (4) Model penilaian hasil belajar menggambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing. (5) Gambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing dari masing-masing peserta. (6) Rubrik penilaian hasil belajar menggambar teknik pull thread, inkblot, dan toot/blowing dari masing-masing peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode: (1) Rancangbangun model dan media presentasi, (2) Penyuluhan dan diskusi, (3) Pelatihan/Workshop/Praktikum, dan (4) Pameran. Target pencapaian tersebut sudah dapat dicapai.

Abstract

Masalah prioritas ditetapkan atas aspek: (1) Pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengolah warna, dan (2) teknik-teknik menggambar dengan cat air. Pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan pendekatan: rancang bangun model, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan. Hasilnya, Guru SDN 01 dan SDN 02 Ulak Karang Selatan Padang telah: (1) Menguasai konsep dan proses pengetahuan mengolah warna. Sebanyak 77,89% materi telah dikuasai peserta, dan telah diterapkannya dalam bentuk karya lingkaran warna. (2) Menguasai materi teknik-teknik menggambar dengan cat air. Peserta telah menguasai materi sebanyak 72,26%, dan setiap peserta telah menghasilkan gambar dengan teknik cat air pilihannnya.

Abstract

Umumnya guru-guru seni budaya SMP Kota Pariaman belum menguasai materi seni rupa, sehingga materi ini belum terlaksanakan dengan baik. Padahal seni rupa adalah salah satu materi mata pelajaran seni budaya dan harus diajarkan dari kelas VII sampai dengan kelas IX. Tidak terlaksananya materi seni rupa di SMPN Bukittinggi, karena pada umumnya (70%) guru-guru seni budaya berlatar belakang pendidikan seni drama tari dan musik dan hanya 30% yang berlatar belakang pendidikan seni rupa. Berdasarkan kesepakatan antara tim pelaksana dengan mitra yakni Kepala SMPN 1 Pariaman dan Ketua MGMP Seni Budaya SMP Kota Pariaman, maka disepakati bahwa permasalahan prioritas yang akan diselesaikan dengan segera adalah dua aspek, yakni: 1) penguasaan materi seni rupa, karena pada umumnya kemampuan guru-guru seni budaya SMP Kota Pariaman menguasai materi seni rupa masih kurang, 2). penguasaan strategi pembelajaran. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk penyelesaian masalah ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru seni budaya terutama bagi guru yang tidak berlatar belakang pendidikan seni rupa/kerajinan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa PKM ini adalah; 1) pada umumnya (90%) guru-guru sudah menguasai materi seni rupa khususnya materi pembelajaran membatik, 2) pada umumnya (80%) guru-guru sudah menguasai strategi pembelajaran dengan baik.

Abstract

This report aims to visualisating the story that has ever happened In the Ratapan Ibu Bridge into the medium of comics with cartoon style. The method that use is made comic with kartunal style. The stage is : 1) Preparation, finding the idea of art in reference about the Ratapan Ibu Bridge. 2) Elaboration, analyzing and summarizing the datas from the field, the history books, and articles from the internet. 3) Synthesis, decided techniques used for the process of creating the work. 4) The realization of the concept, a scenario stories and create. 5) The completion, re-evaluation the work. The result of the creation tell that Wira is a student of the high school being dragged to the days of 1949 and saw the tragedy that occurred on the Ratapan Ibu Bridge, in the end of story Wira back to the days of 2015.Kata kunci: Perancangan, Komik, Sejarah Jembatan Ratapan Ibu di Payakumbuh
