Abstract

This study is aimed to determine: 1)  motivation,  competence, and  school culture together against learning management teacher, 2) the effect of work motivation on teacher learning management, 3) the effect of teacher competence on learning management, and 4) the effect of school culture on teacher learning log management on teachers in the Capital Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. This study is a survey that uses a quantitative approach. The populations of study were 108 teachers in Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta spread across 5 schools. This study was a population. The data collection technique used is questionnaires. The validity of the test of one by study Cronbach alpha product Moment correlation, reliability test questionnaire using Cronbach Alpha. Correlative analysis of the data using multiple regression analysis with three predictors F test and partial correlation. The results showed that the variables of work motivation, competence and school culture simultaneously significant effect on the learning management teacher at Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Variable work motivation is the partially significant effect on teacher learning management. Variable competence partially significant effect on teacher learning management. The magnitude of the effective contribution of the three variables, namely the variables of work motivation, competence, and school culture affect the learning management teacher at Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Based on the value of the effective contribution of the independent variables indicate the dominant variables that influence learning management work motivation of teachers is variable.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to describe the management of professional development of teacher’s in implementing the curriculum 2013, by expressing (1) the strategy undertaken in the framework in implementing the curriculum, (2) management the implementation of professional development of teachers implementing the curriculum 2013, (3) inhibiting factors in the implementation of professional development of teacher‘s in the implementation of curriculum 2013 in the state senior  high school 1 of Wonosari. The research method used was a qualitative method. Data collection was done by interviews, documentation and observation. The process of data analysis began by examining all of the data available from various sources, from interviews, observations that have been written in the field notes, personal documents and official documents. The results showed that: (1) strategies implemented in the framework in implementing the curriculum 2013 carried through the stages of planning, organizing, implementation,  monitoring, and evaluation that goes with good and satisfactory (2) Implementation of teacher professional development program realized in the form of activities that include: training, implementation and preparation of classroom action research (CAR), implementing lesson study and implementation of workshop curriculum 2013 The factors that hinder the implementation of teacher professional development programs in implementing the curriculum 2013, among others: (a) Internal factors including: the ability and commitment of teachers in the completion of the task, (b) external factors, including: training events which are materially less ready (c) the workload of 24 hours (d) the difficulty of determining the exact time of program development. Steps taken by the principal in overcoming these obstacles include: (a) holding the selection of participants training Dikpora organized by Province and Ministry of National Education (b) Optimizing dissemination after activities of workshops outside of school, (c) conducting the program at the time of semester holidays or after the learning process is completed, and (d) to cooperating with relevant competent agencies DIY Province namely LPMP  (e) intensifying the activities of MGMP.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate all information about the management of the school culture including the achievement culture, characteristic, and extracurricular activity in SMA Negeri 2 Brebes in terms of election and development of school culture, conviction and assumption of school culture, target of development school culture,  planning,  organizing,  implementing,  observing,  producing the  schoolculture. This study was conducted the qualitative research approach. The research subjects included the headmaster, vice-headmaster, teachers, and students. The data were collected by observing, interviewing, and documenting. The data were analyzed by reducing, presenting, and summarizing the data. The research finding showed that the management of the school culture in the effort of improving educational quality in SMA Negeri 2 Brebes by developing achievement culture, characteristic, extracurricular activity to improve the schools’willingness, the student’s potential, teachers’ potential, and schools’ facilities was an effort developing the school culture. The target development of achievement culture was gaining the conviction the schools’ member of SMA 2 Brebes to be able to produce students to have some achievements and be proud. The target of characteristic culture was equalizing the achievement culture. The target of extracurricular activity was producing the students’ achievement in the non-academic area. The planning of culture development accommodates the planning of students’ affair program, and facilities. The organization, in general, was implemented by determining the structure of organization by details of duty, the responsibility of organizational element as the development of the schools’ culture authority. The implementation of achievement culture was conducted by academic and non- academic competition, participation in the competition, and effective learnings. The implementation of character culture was conducted by applying 18 scores of the characteristic of the schools’ member and activities. The implementation of extracurricular activity covered the obligation and optional activity. The observation was conducted by collecting information both formal and informal dialogs, observing students’ attitudes and behaviors, observing the students’ achievement. The school culture product was included by having planned,  implementing, reporting and resulting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe about on the management of infrastructure facilities in the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 from planning, procurement, distribution, use, and maintenance, inventory and pengahpusan, and completeness of the existing infrastructure as well as the constraints that may affect the management of infrastructures in order curriculum implementation in 2013. This study includes a qualitative descriptive study. The research location is housed in SMA 5 Mataram. Data collection was done by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done by giving meaning to the data collected, and from these data in Narrate and conclusions drawn. The results of this study illustrate the management process management infrastructure, as well as the completeness and constraints that affect the infrastructure. The results of these studies that the management of the infrastructure in SMAN 5 Mataram is in conformity with the technical management, including planning, procurement, distribution, use, and maintenance, inventory, and pengahpusan. 1) the work done to improve the management of infrastructure in 2013, namely the implementation of the curriculum, increasing teacher training diligently and frequently follow and training, students are more disciplined, supportive classroom situation. 2) infrastructure in SMA 5 Mataram influential in the learning curriculum implementation in 2013 are classrooms, administration, library room, counseling, and prayer room. 3) infrastructure constraints are often delays in the distribution of textbooks still be overcome.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) determine the applied management education in elementary habituation IT Ihsanul Fikri Magelang in efforts to establish the character of students. 2) determine the effectiveness of the formation character students through the habituation Management. 3) identify supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the habituation management. This study is a qualitative study conducted in SDIT Ihsanul Fikri Magelang. The subjects in this study include principals and vice-principals, teachers, students, parents and school committee. Data collection techniques used in this study are the observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include reduction data, display/presentation of the data and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is conducted by using a triangulation technique to check the validity of the data. The results of the study concluded: 1) Management form of habituation: a.Planning the conditioning program in the character formation of students in SDIT Ihsanul Fikri has been good. b. Organizing management has been firmly habituation, which is the principal in charge, assisted by student vice minister, curriculum vice minister, builder habituation and the class teacher and supported by all components of the school. c Application of management is suited to the type of habituation.Routine habituation routinely is done every day on a regular basis, habituation programmed predetermined schedule. .d Evaluation of habituation management: Management of habituation in SDIT Ihsanul Fikri Magelang already well underway. 2) The formation of character through habituation runs effectively proved to be known and The character values are done in daily life. 3) The supports factors habituation management among others the existence of good habitual programme, infrastructure, human resources, parents supports and the school committee’s ones. The obstacles are less of proper infrastructure,  less concerned parents, any Part of teachers and employees are less concerned, the existence of communities that are less appropriate to education’s character.

Abstract

The aim of research is to know and discuss deeper about 1) the implementation of headmaster supervision include planning, organising, implementation, and controlling in increasing the quality of teachers performance at SMA N 1 Yogyakarta, 2) the substances that supervised by headmaster for teachers at SMA N 1 Yogyakarta, 3) the strategy in increasing the quality of teachers performance at SMA N 1 Yogyakarta, and 4) the obstacles, feedback and problem solving of headmaster supervision in increasing the quality of teachers performance at SMA N 1 Yogyakarta. The research is a descriptive by using the qualitative approach. The informants consist of the headmaster, vice headmaster, teachers, committees, students and parents student. The collecting data is through on observation, deep interview, and documentation. The data is analyzed by using reduction, display, and verification. The validity of data is obtained through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The result of the research shows that 1) the management supervision of SMA N 1 Yogyakarta has been good. The headmaster has done supervision schedule, estimate planning, ordered a senior teacher to help supervising, controlling and workshop. 2) the substances that supervised are learning administration, implementation, and learning control, 3) the strategy in increasing teachers performance has done by increasing planning ability, implementation and evaluation learning., 4) the obstacles in management supervision are the schedule of supervision and the problem is solved by using consultation the headmaster, senior teacher who ordered to help to supervise and curriculum vice headmaster to get deal of the effectivity schedule supervision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengungkap sejauh mana: (1) Pengaruh kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. (2) Pengaruh kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. (3) Pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. (4) Pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  sampel karena yang diteliti adalah tidak semua anggota populasi. Adapun populasi yang diambil adalah guru - guru SMP yang ada di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kabupaten Kulon Progo yang berjumlah 109 orangdari 130 orang guru.. Untuk pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen angket (kuesioner). Untuk uji validitas instrumen dilakukan terhadap 30 orang guru yang ada di luar Kecamatan Samigaluh menghasilkan koefisien reliabilitas kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah sebesar 0,919; iklim sekolah sebesar 0,952; motivasi kerja sebesar 0,931; dan kinerja guru sebesar 0,946. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan regresi ganda tiga prediktor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Secara parsial kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo; (2) Variabel iklim sekolah secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo Yogyakarta; (3) Variabel motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo Yogyakarta: dan (4) Secara simultan kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP di Kecamatan Samigaluh Kulon Progo.

Abstract

This research aims: 1) to find out how much influence the management of the principal, teacher professionalism, and achievement motivation on the work effectiveness of primary school teachers in Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 2) to find out how much influence the principal management, the work efficiency of a primary school teacher in Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 3) to find out how much influence the professionalism of teachers on the work effectiveness of primary school teachers in the Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 4) to find out how much influence the achievement motivation on the work efficiency of the primary school teachers in the Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. This research use method a quantitative approach which conducted in the subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency, with a population of a number of 157 teachers in 14 primary schools in the subdistrict  Kledung, which is then taken a sample of a number of 114 teachers. Techniques a data collection conducted through the submission of a questionnaire which contains statements about the management of the principal, teacher professionalism, achievement motivation and the work effectiveness. The analysis technique used is a technique of descriptive statistics, of multiple regression techniques, the partial correlation coefficient analysis, and assess the goodness of fit by the F test, T-test, and the coefficient of determination. Analysis result showed the variable contribution of principals management, teacher professionalism, and achievement motivation simultaneously influence positive which significant against the variable effectiveness of work teachers. From the analysis and the discussion of can pulled conclusion 1) the principal's management, teacher professionalism, and achievement motivation, simultaneously or partially the influential positive which significant against the effectiveness of the primary school teachers in the subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 2) The Principal Management influential positive which significant against the effectiveness of the work, so management which done well will directly affect the work efficiency of the teacher. 3) The professionalism of teachers influential positive significant against the effectiveness of the work, so that teachers are which professionals in their duties will demonstrate the effectiveness of the better so as to provide better working results and quality. 4) Achievement motivation influential positive which significant on the effectiveness of the work, so that teachers who have high achievement motivation will affect the effectiveness of its work.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to (1) describe the class management expertise in the field of fashion, especially with respect to educational facilities and infrastructure management, educational materials and teaching staff at SMK 6 Yogyakarta, (2) Describe the student work readiness skills program in fashion SMK N 6 Yogyakarta. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach. The location of this research will be carried out in school SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. In the process of data collection, the researcher as the key instrument that directly goes into the field (class) through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis that carried out in this study is a model Interaktive Analysis of Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded, that (1) Class management at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta in conducting education in the field of fashion expertise can be considered good. It can be seen from the aspect of education facilities and infrastructure management, educational materials and teaching staff. (2) the student’s readiness to work at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta can be considered good. It can be seen from (a) the readiness of students in the field of education or professional, (b) student readiness and cooperation in the social field or relationships with others, and (c) the readiness of students in the field of psychological and personality or attitude. The readiness of the students’ work can be considered as a form of success of SMK N 6 Yogyakarta in conducting effective classroom management, according to the orientation of vocational education.

Abstract

The purposes of the research are to get clear descriptions of (1) the planning of classroom management, 2) the organizing classroom management, 3) the implementation of classroom management, 4) the conducting of classroom management, 5) the evaluation of the results of classroom management, 6) the efforts of the increasing of classroom management quality, and 7) the relationship between classroom management and the integrated Quality Management in SMP N 4 Semin Gunungkidul. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative approach; the choice of research resource persons is by using purposive sampling technique. In this research, the headmistress, teachers, office staff, students, school committees, students’ parents, and community as resources. The instrument in this research is the researcher himself as the key instrument. The data is collected by using interview, observation, and document review. The data were analyzed inductively, the analysis of data activity they are reduction data, the display data and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study have found several facts: first, the pattern of classroom management in SMP N 4 Semin Gunungkidul is like the perspective of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the school improvement and be able to answer the needs of learners because the learning models oriented focus in customer satisfaction those are students. Second, the classroom management in SMP N 4 Semin Gunungkidul in terms of planning , organizing, implementing , monitoring and evaluation , supervising and controlling the efforts of   improving the quality in good and excellent categories, because the classroom management needs all components of the school related to integration of management quality to reach the goal effectively and efficiently, while the integrated quality management to produce the quality according to the demands of society (customer satisfaction).
