Abstract

This research was aimed at discovering how far the inclusive school education management in Yogyakarta 15 State Junior High School managed to improve the quality of the learning results of disability students. The education management studied in the research included the planning, implementation, evaluation, obstacle identification and the efforts conducted by the school to improve the quality of the learning results in the academic year 2014-2015. This research was a qualitative type, and the data were collected was conducted bay interviews, observation, and documentation from the beginning to the end of the research. The sources of the data consist of the principle, the vice headmaster, the teachers, counselor teachers for disabled students, the school, and parents and regular students. The validity, reliability and objectivity data were triangulation. The research results showed that the school’s education management was quite good in terms of the implementation, evaluation, and solution for the arising problems. However, the planning for the students, the counselor's teacher to disability students, and the school’s infrastructures and facilities were not optimum yet. In more details, the research results are as follows:1) The planning was not optimum because the school could not admit students with mild slow-learning problems and students with mild mental handicaps because such was not yet regulated in the school’s student admission system. 2) The of instruction implementation ran very well, with satisfactory materials for disability students; and the learning interaction between regular students and the disability students was very conducive. 3) The inclusive school education evaluation was implemented quite well. The evaluation materials were adapted to the condition of the disabled students. The curriculum evaluation was conducted at least once a year. 4) The obstacle was that the government did not provide enough infrastructures and facilities and counselor teachers for disability.students 5) To overcome the obstacle for students disability. But the school could maximize the help from regular students, the regular teachers, and the administrative staff.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program pendidikan inklusif di MAN Maguwoharjo. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Evaluasi model CIPP dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Evalusi Contex menunjukkan program pendidikan inklusif telah memiliki landasan kebijakan yang jelas dan memiliki tujuan program yang relevan. Evaluasi   Input menunjukkan krakteristik ABK terdiri dari siswa ABK tuna netra dan tuna daksa, GPK berlatar belakang pendidikan S1 pendidikan luar biasa dan    telah  menjalankan  fungsinya  dengan  baik.  Pendidik  belum  semua  guru  mengikuti  pelatihan tentang pendidikan inklusif. Sarana prasarana berupa aksesibilitas fisik belum optimal. Kuikulum yang digunakan merupakan KTSP yang berlaku untuk semua siswa. Pembiayaan program belum memiliki anggaran khusus penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif. (3) Evaluasi Process menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pengelolaan telah memiliki manajer inklusif, dan memiliki jaringan dengan stake holder, Proses pembelajaran telah sesuai dengan kurikulum perlu pengembangan media bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. (4) Evaluasi Product menunjukkan siswa ABK mampu mencapai prestasi akademik dan non akademik yang membanggakan. AbstractThe study aim at evaluating the implementation of inclusive education program at MAN Maguwoharjo This research study is evaluation research using CIPP model from Stufflebeam's with a qualitative approach. The technique of data collection uses the methods of observation, interview, and documentation. Context Evaluation shows that inclusive education program already has a clear basis of regulation and objectives relevant to ABK needs. (2) input evaluation shows the characteristics of ABK consist of blind and deaf ABK students. GPK has the educational background of bachelor degree on inclusive education.The educator has fulfilled the minimum educational qualification of bachelor degree but not all teachers followed the workshop on inclusive education. The facilities on physical accessibility are still not optimum. The curriculum used is KTSP, which is applied for all students. The funding of the program does not include special calculation on the implementation of inclusive education. (3) Process evaluation shows that in terms of managing process, they already have an inclusive manager and contact with the stakeholder. (4) Product evaluation shows The ABK students have the good academic achievement and nonacademic ability

Abstract

The research aimed to know review of: the contribution of supervisor school Based Management of supervision contribution of school supervisor, principle leadership and teacher Performance to the quality of teacher learning (2) the contribution of supervision of school supervisor to the quality of teacher learning (3) the contribution of principle leadership to the quality of teacher learning (4) the contribution of teacher Performance to the quality of teacher learning. This research was conducted in high schools of South Tanimbar district, Regency of West Southeast Maluku, Province of Maluku. The Research method used was quantitative with survey method. Population in the research is all of the high school teachers either in public or public school at South Tanimbar district Regency of West Southeast Maluku, Province of Maluku as many 157 teachers. Sampling technique with proportional random sampling method as many as 110 teachers. Data of the research was collected by using questionnaire. The questionnaire was checked to see its validity and reliability tests. Data analysis used assumption test and multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that: (1) the supervision of school supervisor, principle leadership and teacher performance simultan normaly in together have positive influence significantly to the quality of teacher learning performance with the efectiveness contribution at 18,7% (2) the supervision of supervisor significantly has positive influence to the quality of teacher learning perfomence with the efectiveness contribution at 10,3% (3) the principle leadership significantly has positive influence to the quality of teacher learning perfomence with the efectiveness contribution at 5,6% (4) teacher performace significantly has positive influence to the quality of teacher learning perfomence with the efectiveness contribution at 6,0%. Principle who has a good leadership competency and school supervisor supervise intensively will make the implementation of the School-Based Management to be good and make teacher performance and the learning-teaching process to be good too.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui indikator dan bentuk pengukuran nilai tanggung jawab pada pembelajaran IPA SMP. Yang kedua untuk membuat model Instrumen pengukuran tanggungjawab pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian pengembangan instrumen. Uji Validasi yang dilakukan meliputi: Analisis Validitas Butir, Validitas Isi berdasarkan expert judgement, FGD dan teknik analisis Delphi, Validitas Konkuren, Validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor. Uji kelasyakan dilakukan pada 32 peserta didik. Setelah dilakukan penyususnan instrumen dan uji kelayakan, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan sebgai berikut. (1) Telah dapat disusun Instrumen penilaian sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA SMP dengan jumlah butir valensi 28 butir dan jumlah butir faktual 30 butir. (2) Berdasarkan analisis reabilitas instrumen, nilai tanggung jawab Valensi diperoleh koefisien reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,907. Nilai tanggung jawab faktual diperoleh koefisien reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,877. (3)  Berdasarkan analisis validitas konkuren dengan menganalisis hubungan data valensi dengan data faktual menunjukan koefisien korelasi untuk nilai  tanggungjawab adalah rxy = 0.647. (4) Uji validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor  ini menunjukan bahwa dari 19 butir instrumen nilai tanggung jawab valensi, terdapat 16 butir saja yang valid dan hanya terletak pada komponen I, 1 butir, Komponen II 1 Butir, di komponen III 1 butir, dan satu butir di komponen 5. Sedangkan untuk butir faktual, analisis faktor ini menunjukan bahwa dari 30 butir instrumen nilai tanggung jawab faktual, terdapat 16 butir yang valid dan letaknya pada semua komponen. Komponen I terdapat 11 butir valid, komponen II terdapat 1 butir valid, Komponen III ada 1 butir Valid, Komponen 4 satu butir sementara komponen 5 kosong. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the indicators and forms of measurement values of responsibility in science teaching junior high. The second purpose is to create a model of measurement instruments responsibilities in science subjects. This research is to development of research instruments. Validation test performed was done: Validity Analysis of Items, Validity The content is based on expert judgment, FGD, Concurrent validity, construct validity using factor analysis. The feasibility test is consist of 32 students. After arranging the instruments and the feasibility test, it can be concluded as followed. (1) It has the attitude assessment instruments can be arranged responsibility of students in junior high school science subjects with the number of valence items 28 items and 30 items of items factual. (2) Based on the analysis of the reliability of the instrument, the value of responsibility Valensi instrument reliability coefficient of 0.907. The value of responsibility factual instrument reliability coefficient of 0.877. (3) Based on the analysis of concurrent validity by analyzing the data relationship valence with factual data showing the correlation coefficient for the value of responsibility is r xy = 0647. (4) Test of construct validity using factor analysis shows that of the 19 items-value instruments valence responsibilities, there are 16 items are valid and only lies in the components I, 1 item, Component II 1 Item, in component III 1 item, and one item in component 5. As for the factual point, factor analysis shows that of the 30 items instrument factual value of responsibility, there are 16 items that valid and located on all components. Component I there is 11 valid item, component II are 1 point is valid, the third component there is 1 point Valid, Component 4 of the items while the component 5 is empty.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning management including planning, implementation, and evaluation of open school teachers, to explain how learning management can improve the quality of education outcomes, and to describe the obstacles encountered in the implementation of learning management in improving the outcomes of education in Open Junior High School 4 Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research instruments used in this research were interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and document checklists. The analysis of data was done by descriptive and qualitative analysis. The validity of the data was done by a triangulation technique. The research results showed that in general, the learning management can improve the quality of education of Open Junior High School 4 Pandak, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The  complete results were (1) the learning management in Open Junior High School 4 Pandak, Bantul, Yogyakarta has been implemented procedurally following the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up;  (2)  the implementation of learning management gave contribution in improving the quality of education; (3) some obstacles or barriers related to the implementation of learning management derived from the open school teachers, the principal, and the school staffs; (4) the solution to overcome the obstacles was giving motivation and conducting good coordination among the open school teachers, principal, and school staffs.

Abstract

This research aims to know the role of headmaster in teaching management; curriculum management; workforce management; equipment management; financial management; student service; public relations, and school climate management, and the relation with school-based quality improvement’s management at SD Negeri Ngawen III Kecamatan Ngawen Kabupaten Gunungkidul. This research is a descriptive-analytic non-statistic research by using a qualitative approach. The data are obtained from informants consist of headmasters, teachers, students, and chairman of school committee from observation results and documents. The data are analyzed using interactive analysis through three activities that are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data validity is obtained from the extension of participation and data triangulation. Generally, the role of headmaster in teaching management; curriculum management; workforce management; equipment management; financial management; student service; public relations, and school climate management, and the relation with school-based quality improvement’s management at SD Negeri Ngawen III Kecamatan Ngawen Kabupaten Gunungkidul are good implemented. Although there are temporary teachers with minimal welfare and unclear future career because of the wise leadership from the headmaster, the quality improvement’s management can work well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of character education management in an effort to improve the academic achievement of students in SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, character education management includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation, support and resistance as well as the efforts made to overcome obstacles. This study used a qualitative research method with a naturalistic approach to data collection. The data collection techniques: interview, observation, study documents. The data source consists of resource person, place and activity as well as related documents to the implementation of education character. Data analysis technique was performed with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Checking the validity of the data is done by extending the observation time, triangulations and auditing. The results showed that the management of character education in SMK N 2 Yogyakarta is quite effective for improving students’ achievement, both academic and non-academic achievement. The average percentage of the graduate student is always higher than 98%, often getting champion level of municipality, provincial and so national. In addition to improving achievement also effectively shape the character of the students as a discipline in complying with school rules, awareness of high worship, no fighting students. All of the mentioned habitual behaviors are an indication of the success of character education. Implementation of the character management received support from the school community and be a flagship program, but is also found in the implementation obstacles that some of the school member s still do not understand the importance of education character so that there are still people who are still violated and less concerned with the implementation of character education. The efforts made by the school to overcome the barriers by doing intensive and sustainable socialization in the school community as well as discipline in enforcing school rules.

Abstract

The research is aimed to get an illustration about the learning management including (1) Planning, (2) Organizing, (3) Implementing, (4) Evaluation, (5) Identifying the obstacles faced, (6) Identifying the supporting power (7) knowing anything that has been done, is doing and will be done by school in order to improve the industrial need relevance in SMK N 2 Wonosari Automotive technology department, especially in industrial work practice. This research used a qualitative approach, the location of research was SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari as a school that has achieved in Gunungkidul Regency. The data collecting methods used in this research were observations, interview, and documentation. The source of data includes the headmaster, vice headmaster of curriculum, teacher, student, school committee, supervisor and automotive industry. The data analysis being used was qualitative analysis from Miles and Huberman. The result of this research shows that the illustration of learning management on automotive productive subject is not relevance with industrial need yet, is caused by the following reasons, they are: (1) composing the administration lesson is not considering the conten, planning the learning media is not fulfilled with the need of up date technology (2) organizing learning material is based on the structure of developed school curriculum program is not involving the industrial world (3) the implementation in learning is not the same with the qualification demanded by industrial world (4) in the learning evaluation, there are competences that have not been taught to the students before doing practices on industrial work (5) the obstacles faced in improving the industrial need relevance there is no industrial involvement in arranging the curriculum (6) supporting powers that is owned by school can not be used in the appropriate lab work implementation (7) the efforts that has been done, is doing and will be done by school to increase the relevance of learning to industrial need are (a) the effort has been done: being responsive toward the evaluation of industrial work practice (b) the effort is doing capturing information from industrial world (e) the effort that will be done that is inviting automotive industries to involve in composing the curriculum in school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine  the  correlation  between: (1)  teachers’ professional  competence  and teachers’ working productivity, (2) teachers’ working motivation and teachers’ working productivity, (3) school organizational culture and teachers’ working productivity, (4) teachers’ professional competence, teachers’ working motivation,  and  school organizational  culture  altogether  and  teachers’ working productivity. This research is a descriptive quantitative research a kind of correlational research. The study population was all SMP / MTs teachers in Temon subdistrict in Kulon Progo Regency, amounting to 119 teachers. The samples are 92 teachers who were taken by proportional cluster random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using correlation technique are simple, double, and partial. The results of the regression analysis on the significance level of 5% showed that: (l) there is a significant positive correlation between the professional competence of teachers in the teachers’ working productivity with the effective contribution of 39.4%. (2) there is a significant positive correlation with the productivity of teachers’ working motivation of teachers with the effective contribution of 12.8%. (3) there is a significant positive correlation between organizational culture of schools with teachers working productivity with the effective contribution of 9.8%., And (4) there is a significant positive correlation jointly between the professional competence of teachers, teachers’ working motivation, and organizational culture of the school with the teachers working productivity with the effective contribution 62.0%. This suggests that the three independent variables have a significant positive correlation of working productivity of teachers.

Abstract

This study is aimed at (1) finding out the suitability of the curriculum in SD Negeri Karangrejek II with the arrangement guide of 2013 curriculum, (2) finding out the suitability of the learning program planning of2013 curriculum, (3) finding out the suitability of learning process implementation in 2013 curriculum,(4) finding out the suitability of the learning result evaluation in 2013 curriculum, and (5) finding out the obstructing factors of the implementation of 2013 curriculum in SD Negeri Karangrejek II Wonosari, Gunungkidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. This research is included in the evaluation with distance model. The implementation measurement is done by comparing the ideal condition with the real condition about the standard implementation of 2013 curriculum. The data in this research is collected by using document study in the curriculum, learning plans (syllabus and lesson plan), and evaluation; conducting an observation on the learning implementation components, and some interviews on the obstructing factors. The data collection can be classified into two categories, which are the interactive model and non-interactive model. The interactive technique consists of interviews and observations, while the non-interactive technique consists of analysis, documents, and archives. From the research result, it is concluded that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SD Negeri Karangrejek II Wonosari, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta is suitable to the implementation standard of 2013 curriculum. The curriculum in SD Negeri Karangrejek II has been composed based on the KTSP curriculum arrangement guide. The learning plans (syllabus and lesson plan) are composed by the teachers who are trained about the process standard of 2013 curriculum. The learning processes conducted by the teachers are not optimum in using the integrative theme approach and scientific approach. The evaluations on attitudes, knowledge, and skills done by the teacher are not carried out well, especially on attitude and skills evaluation. The obstruction of the 2013 curriculum is that the training material is not suitable yet with the curriculum implementation, the difficulties in carrying out the themed curriculum, the evaluation procedures which are still very complex, daily test, mid-semester test, and semester test became the scores in the final report.
