Abstract

This study examines the crucial issue of the impact of financing growth on various dimensions of Islamic Banks in Indonesia. The growth of financing affects bank risk, profitability, and solvency. The main objective explains the relationship between financing growth and key performance indicators. The study uses ROA for profitability, EQTA for capital adequacy, NPF for bank risk, and the natural logarithm of Total Assets as a proxy for bank size. LIQD and CIR are included as additional variables to provide a more comprehensive analysis. Data for the period Q1 2012 to Q4 2020, obtained from the publication report on the OJK website. Using multiple linear regression, the findings showed a negative relationship between bank risk and financing growth. In addition, the growth of financing has a positive effect on both profitability and solvency of banks. This confirms the importance of prudential principles to optimize risk management strategies, especially in the context of a growing role in financing growth in Islamic banks.

Indonesia has a large number of internet users, which at the very least indicates its enormous digital potential. Banks and other financial institutions are benefiting from improved digital offerings. This study strengthens literacy and inclusion as an effective strategy for strengthening the effects of the integrated UTAUT2 construct model with user satisfaction using Islamic mobile banking applications. Quantitative research type, with a research sample of 206 respondents as the primary data source using a questionnaire survey. Data analysis using partial regression analysis (PLS-SEM). The results prove that several factors have a positive and significant effect, namely the variables of behavioral intention, facilitating conditions, habit on user behavior and habit, hedonic motivation, and user satisfaction on behavioral intention. On the other hand, some variables do not affect, namely the variables of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, price value, and social influence on behavioral intention.

Abstract

LKS has different characteristics, so different strategies and approaches are needed in resolving problematic financing. The purpose of the study is to analyze and compare strategies and approaches used in overcoming NPF in BPRS, BUS, and BMT. This research is a literature review with a qualitative approach using secondary data in the form of previous research results and as many as 12 research objects with documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out using data reduction, data analysis, and conclusions. This research shows that in general, the settlement of problematic financing is carried out by restructuring but by taking different approaches according to the character of BPRS, BUS, and BMT. In particular, there are some BMTs in solving NPFs that do not use approaches that correspond to their characteristics.

Abstract

The government implements various poverty alleviation policies, Ziswaf has not been utilized as an instrument of financial inclusion in poverty alleviation. This study aims to examine and provide solutions to poverty alleviation by making Ziswaf an instrument of financial inclusion. Field research with a qualitative descriptive thinking paradigm makes the Takmir community the subject of the interview and scattered mosques the main object. In addition to the OJK report, Bank Indonesia, Puskas Baznas, and KNEKS are its supporters. The results of the study found that Ziswaf's potential is very large, but the Ziswaf funds distributed have not been able to alleviate poverty. Access and availability of Ziswaf funds are still very scarce and difficult for the community to obtain, the distribution is incidental and consumptive rather than productive. Ziswaf as an instrument of financial inclusion is expected to be managed on target to alleviate poverty.

Abstract

Islamic banking is only a small choice for the majority of Indonesian Muslims numbering 229.62 million people or 87.2%. In contrast, the market share of Islamic banks is only 7.07%. Global banking conditions are rocked by the case of Silicon Valley Bank, which is one of the largest banks in the world, experiencing liquidity problems. This is inseparable from the fragility of the conventional banking system based on usury as an inherent obligation. This study analyzes the liquidity and credit risk comparison of Islamic and conventional banks in Indonesia. The sample in this study is 10 Islamic banks and the 10 largest conventional banks in terms of assets in the 2018-2022 period. Independent t-test is used to answer the problems in this study. Based on the results of independent t test show that there is no difference between the liquidity of Islamic and conventional banks. Likewise, NPF / NPL shows no difference between Islamic and conventional banks.

Abstract

There is a gap between the expected outcome and the implementation of zakat, although Muslims in Indonesia have great potential to donate zakat. This study aims to examine the impact of transparency, accountability, and quality of zakat management on the interests of Muzaki. This study relied on primary data collected through questionnaires on the entire Muzaki population of 5,803 people. A sample of 140 Muzakis was selected using the non-probability sampling method. Research shows that transparency, accountability, and quality of management at BAZNAS influence the increase in interest in Muzaki. Partial accountability has a positive effect on Muzaki interest, and transparency, and management quality have a significant negative impact. Transparency is the connecting variable between accountability and management quality, emphasizing the considerable influence on the interests of Muzaki.
