Abstract

Paper ini mendiskusikan konsep misi yang berpusat pada kerajaan allah dan aplikasinya dalam konteks indonesia. Pemaparannya tulisan ini dibagi ke dalam dua bagian, yakni pertama menjelaskan konsep misi yang berusat pada Kerajaan Allah: munculnya konsep ini dalam sejarah, dan artinya dari pengajaran biblika. Bagian kedua mendiskusikan empat bagian yang meliputi: hubungan agama Kristen dengan agama-agama; memahami misi dalam konteks Indonesia; konsep holistik pertumbuhan gereja; dan dialog antara agama dan kesaksian Kristen.

Abstract

This article discusses “Woman as Leader in the Church of Isa Almasih (Christ Jesus)” from the perspective of Feminist Theology and Renewal theology. The writer tries to find the convergence and divergence points of both perspective above, including its method and interpretation in observing the theological basis about the woman as leader. The binder of the big theme to discuss this article from both perspective is the Holy Spirit as the Giver of freedom and equality. From this perspective, the writer tries to make a new proposal about how to give theological inputs to remodel gender stereotype in the context of the Church.

Abstract

Generally, Christian prayer is related to the prayer taught by Jesus Christ, namely the Lord’s prayer. Christian community practices the Lord’s prayer in their worship, either in their family or in the Church. The question is “Do Christians understand and know the deep meaning of the prayer very well?” This question is important because the prayer talks about the intimate relationship between God and the believers. In this article, the writer tries to scrutinize the spiritual expressions of the prayer and to find the essence of the prayer that describes the manifestation of the believer’s love to God.

Abstract

This article deals with the thought of Barbara Wilkerson that discusses the religious education in the context of the multiple culture. The writer argues that Wilkerson’s theory can give contribution to develop the religious education of the multiple culture in Indonesian context. It is important to be noted that Wilkerson does not answer directly to the problems of the multiple culture in Indonesia context. The writer also discusses critically Wilkerson’s theory, especially when such a theory is applied in Indonesian context.

Abstract

One of the critical problems in hermeneutic praxis is the tendency of emphasizing one part in a hermeneutical circle, namely context, text, or reader. Therefore we should take into account the whole part in an interdependence balance. Instead of emphasizing one of the part in the hermeneutic circle, this paper offers pilgrimage as a paradigm in interpreting the Bible so that the whole part in a hermeneutical circle can be put in an interdependence balance. The use of pilgrimage as a paradigm in the interpretation of the Bible should be understood as Groome has been doing by taking pilgrimage as a paradigm in his Shared Christian Praxis approach.
