Abstract

Information about the performance of a BTS (Base Transceiver Station) is needed to help improve a Network service. But in the selection of a good or bad BTS (Base Transceiver Station) it can be caused by several factors such as Transmission, Power, and Celldown BTS. Therefore we need a system that can provide recommendations using the right method, here are the decision support system methods including Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making TOPSIS. The TOPSIS method uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest (farthest) distance from the negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view using Euclidean distance (distance between two points) to determine the relative proximity of an alternative with the optimal solution . Positive ideal solutions are defined as the sum of all the best values that can be achieved for each attribute, while the negative-ideal solution consists of all the worst values achieved for each attribute. while the negative-ideal solution consists of all the worst values achieved for each attribute.

Abstract

Pelita Nusantara Medan STMIK Computer Informatics study program provides several fields of science that students can choose in completing their final thesis in the form of a thesis. During this time in its implementation, the determination of the field of this thesis was chosen by the student who will submit the thesis title as one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor's degree at STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan without any direction from the campus either from the academic department or the head of the study program. Therefore, not a few students who ultimately choose a field of science that is not in accordance with their abilities. Based on the existing problems regarding the development of this thesis, a student clustering system was made based on the indicators of thesis development by applying one of the data mining methods, namely clustering, where the technique used was the Single Linkage Technique. Single Linkage Technique is a way to group objects or individuals based on criteria similarity size or closest distance between objects (minimum distances). Thus, the results of clustering (clustering) that are designed can help the academic STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan, especially the Chairperson of the Computer Informatics Study Program in directing students in the determination of the field of thesis so that students choose the field of thesis in accordance with their abilities

Abstract

Handwriting is character pattern recognition. Character pattern recognition is exciting to do research. In character pattern recognition, many types of characters can be recognized by computers and solved by various algorithms. Various kinds of pattern recognition have been successfully applied in multiple fields such as voice recognition, face detection, fingerprint recognition, and handwriting recognition. Handwriting recognition is divided into two types, namely online handwriting recognition and offline handwriting recognition. Online handwriting recognition requires special electronic equipment, and handwriting is captured on a pressure-sensitive tablet. Offline handwriting recognition does not need a particular machine because handwriting data is entered from previously written text such as images scanned by a scanner. Several methods have been developed to recognize handwriting with varying degrees of accuracy. This research uses the feature extraction of United Moment Invariant (UMI) and Self Organizing Maps (SOM). Based on the results of the software experiment for the entire test data set, the primary data yielded an accuracy rate of 88% for 50 images, and the first secondary data paid an accuracy rate of 98.2% for 500 images. However, for the second secondary data experiment with 50 test data, the accuracy rate is 90%. The third secondary data experiment was 500 test data. The accuracy rate was 89%. When viewed from the accuracy value, the primary data has a lower level of accuracy when compared to the two secondary data with different amounts. The story of accuracy resulting from experimenting with varying data sets proves that handwritten characters have a high and inconsistent level of variation. This is caused by the thickness and form of writing that is not consistent in each person and habits that affect the character of one's handwriting. Primary data is data that is taken directly and through a scanner process and still has a lot of noise in the handwritten image of numbers. At the same time, the secondary data has undergone a grey image process so that the handwritten image is clean from noise.

Abstract

At the end of 2019 in Wuhan, China, a new virus was discovered, that is Corona Virus Disease 2019. This virus causes serious health problems and has been declared as pandemic since March 11, 2020. It has caused death and claimed thousands of lives. This virus spreads very quickly and in various ways such as direct contact with patients, travelers, owners of congenital diseases and many other transmissions. To suppress the spread of this virus, the government has carried out various ways such as social distancing and screening or impromptu swabs in crowded centers. Due to the many types of transmission from this virus, this research was conducted to classify Covid-19 cases in Dumai City. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as an illustration of the grouping of Covid-19 patient data by applying K-Means and K-Medoid as a grouping algorithm based on the type of transmission, age, gender, health services and district. Based on this research, the K-Means algorithm is more optimal than K-Medoid in classifying Covid-19 patient data, especially in Dumai City. It is proven that the best DBI K-Means value is 0.139 with k = 4

Abstract

Pineapple is a fruit commodity that is Indonesia's flagship. This is because pineapple is a fruit that has the highest export volume in Indonesia. To obtain pineapples with perfect ripeness, generally manually selected, this becomes inefficient if large numbers of pineapples are selected. So, in this study, an image processing system will be developed that can classify pineapple ripeness based on its image. In this study, the color feature extraction used is feature extraction based on hue and saturation values. Color feature extraction with hue and saturation is used to obtain various information from the colors in the image so as to facilitate the identification process. Furthermore, Linear Discriminator Analysis will obtain optimal projections to be able to enter spaces with smaller dimensions by performing pattern recognition that can be separated so that they can be grouped based on boundary lines obtained from linear equations. Based on the results of the accuracy test, the accuracy rate reaches 83%, it is in the good category
