Abstract

Responsible character education is the attitude and behavior of a person to carry out their duties and responsibilities as themselves, society, environment, country, and God. The formation of the character of trust can be applied through the activities of internal and external learning. Responsibility is an attitude that must be formed so that students can be accountable for what they have done. The purpose of this study was to: (1) find out the character forms responsible for class VIII C MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu (2) to find out the efforts of social studies teachers informing capable characters of class VIII MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu (3) know what factors encourage and hinder the formation of role responsible for class VIII C MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that, (1) Character forms are responsible for students namely always doing school work well, attending congregational prayers in school and punishments for those who violate school rules by using persuasive approaches and giving examples in their daily lives (2 ) The implementation of character formation is responsible to be carried out in the classroom and outside the classroom. Application through habituation by the teacher (3) There are driving and inhibiting factors in the way the character formation is responsible for class VIII C students at MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu. One of them is habituation carried out by the school and teacher teachers, and also one of the inhibiting factors here is about environmental factors that do not support the attitude of responsibility.Keywords: The character of Responsibility, Integrated Social Studies

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to understand the differences of learning outcomes using Cooperative learning model type TAl (Team Assisted Individualization) and STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) on the subject Accounting, Social Sciences Education Department of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences of Maulana Malik lbrahim State Islamic University of Malang. This research using Experimental research design Quasi Experiment, and the model using Pre-Test and Post-Test Control Group Design. Population of this research is all students of first semester Year 2013/2014, and the sample are class A as the experiment group who using TAI model and class B as the control group who study using STAD model. There are two instruments in this research, such as treatment instrument and measurement instrument. Researcher used hypothesis test to know the differences of learning outcomes, t-test in which previously conducted the prerequisite test analysis which consist of normality test, homogeneity test, and the equality test of average initial ability of student. Result of this research shows the difference of average mark in cognitive aspects in these classes is not significant but the average mark TAI class higher than STAD class, but there is a significant difference in psychomotor aspects in these classes. It can be showing the average mark of TAI also higher than STAD.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning Model type TAI, STAD

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to map the risk of earthquake damage at all Elementary Schools and Islamic Elementary Schools in Malang. mapping process using Geographic Information System (GIS). Software used for mapping is ArcView GIS 3.3. Stages in mapping the level of risk the damage caused by the earthquake is to collect data and coordinate address Elementary Schools and Islamic Elementary Schools, the data of the earthquake, the maximum ground acceleration calculation, classification and interpretation. From the calculation results showed that the Elementary Schools and Islamic Elementary Schools is located in the southern Malang has a degree of severe damage to the value of PGA 228878- 234987 gal. While elementary school is located in the north of Malang has a high risk of earthquake is very secure with PGA value 180 009 -186 117 gal.Keywords: earathquake, Malang, Elementary School.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) to know the influence of the following factors, namely socio-economic status, the image of College and employment opportunities of further studies into college. (2) to know the most dominant influence toward the decision for knowing some factors further studies into college. For achieving that goal, the researcher used quantitative methods to analysis of the factors. The object of this research is the students of class XII MAN Jombang Lessons year 2015-2016. The data collection techniques used  are observation, question form/questionnaire, interview and documents. The data were analyzed by means of test validity, reliability test, test and test the assumptions of classical hypothesis. The results of the reserch showed that: (1) the socio-economic Status of the Factor (X1) influence of 69,3%, Image Factors of higher education (X2) influence of 0.9% and employment opportunities (X3) exert influence by 4% against the decision of further studies into College on students of class XII MAN Jombang Lessons Year 2015-2016. (2) The most dominant factor of its influence on the decision of further studies class XII students MAN Jombang Lesson Years 2015-2016 is a factor of social economic status (X1) and its influence of 69,3%.Keyword: Socioeconomic, The College, Employment

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe the program of extracurricular activities of scientific papers to develop the talents of IPS students in MA del Bojonegoro, (2) Describe Implementation of extracurricular activities of scientific papers to develop the talents of IPS students in MAN Model Bojonegoro, (3) Knowing the obstacles and solutions in extracurricular activities of scientific papers to develop the talents of IPS students in MAN Model Bojonegoro. The type of research is field research (field research) and using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Data is analyzed using the following scheme: data collection, reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the research show as follows: (1) The program of extracurricular activity of scientific writing is a prominent activity, this activity is presented so that students can develop talents in the field of IPS in terms of writing and research, extracurricular activities of scientific papers have been running well with the enthusiasm of students in following the activities (2) Implementation of extracurricular activities of scientific papers the field of IPS include: (a) The material is choosing learning materials according to the conditions and circumstances surrounding the students (b) The method used  includes lecture, discussion, question and answer and assignment. (c) Media, include media of view and view of hearings such as, laptops, LCD and loudspeakers; (d) Evaluation include: the techniques of evaluation of assignments, practices, and comparing the quality of scientific papers students from year to year. (3) Obstacles in extracurricular activities of scientific papers to develop the talents of IPS students in MAN Model Bojonegoro namely the constraints of facilities and infrastructure and time constraints. The solution of the school is by the addition of adequate infrastructure, especially internet access and additional reading and addition of time allocation.Keywords: implementation, extracurricular, activities of scientific writing, IPS.

Abstract

Manage of personal finance is very important, because many products and services offered in the market. We must more carefully to spend our money not fulfill what we want but what we need, Management for personal finance can adapted from accounting and Finance Management for corporation with adjustment. We must record income and outcome of our money as responsibility to our self and controlling our spiritual quotient, and then we can measure our achievement. Residual of our income can saved for the sudden need, or invest in many thing as our basic need, for example land and building or in portfolio, for future. Abstract

This study discusses ethnographic studies in communities in the region of Gunung Kawi Kabupaten Malang. The focus of attention of an ethnographic description is the culture with a distinctive pattern, than an ethnographic study is a description of “the ethnic culture”. Question about the element of universal culture is the focus of this study, namely; how the location, the natural environment and demographics, the origin and history, language, technology systems, economic systems, social organization, knowledge systems, art and religion systems. Ethnographic research is to describe it culture, this research seeks to study the culture event that present a live view of the subjects as an object of study. This study is related to how the subject of thinking, living, and be having. The results of this study found that for art and religion system there are some myths that developed in the community related to pilgrimage Gunung Kawi, multiculture messages between Javanese and Chinese culture, syncretism between customs or traditions with religion and for economic system there are religious tourism commodification.Keywords: Etnography, Community

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the formal education level of Banjarsari Village, Ngronggot Subdistrict, Nganjuk Regency, 2) find out the perceptions of Banjarsari Village, Ngronggot Subdistrict, Nganjuk Regency towards higher education, 3) find out the meaning of rural community perceptions of higher education with theoretical concepts George Herbert Mead. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, which is describing and interpreting existing data to describe reality in accordance with the actual phenomenon. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the formal education level of the Banjarsari Village community is still low, where elementary school education is 612 people with a percentage of 22.18%, junior high school as many as 739 people with a percentage of 26.78%, high school as many as 1094 people with a percentage of 39.65 %, Colleges as many as 142 people with a percentage of 5.14%, and not as many as 172 with a percentage of 6.23%, 2) the perceptions of rural communities in the village of Banjarsari towards tertiary education are quite good, but to realize their children go on to college less, 3) the relevance of the perceptions of rural communities in higher education and the concept of George Herbert Mead's theory, can be seen from internal factors, namely the economic level and educational background of parents, while external factors, namely the environment.Keywords: Rural Society; Higher education; George Herbert Mead's theory

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is very important to instill independence in the younger generation. There are a number of things that have an important influence on a child's soul, including family, school and the environment. The role of the family, especially mothers as early educators who put the most important foundation for the growth of the personality and maturity of children's thinking. There are several research focuses that exist in, among others, (1) to know parents in instilling entrepreneurial education values in the central tempe chips industry in Sanan, Malang. (2) to knowing the form or result of the cultivation of entrepreneurial education values in the central tempe chips industry in Sanan, Malang (3) to knowing the obstacles in cultivating entrepreneurial education values in the Tempe chips industry center in Sanan, Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of research of community phenomena because researchers take data directly in the field. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The conclusion of this study is the role of parents in instilling entrepreneurial values is to guide and support the activities of their children in the field of entrepreneurship. The results have been well implemented through habituation. The obstacle in implementing entrepreneurship for children is the lack of parental trust so that it is difficult to teach entrepreneurship, it is difficult to determine which products are sold because they are too expensive, and the difficulty of the child to divide time.Keywords: the role of parents; entrepreneurship

Abstract

This paper discusses the relation between Islam and the State as experienced by Indonesian Muslims. Using the historical analysis it begins to delineate the struggle for political Islam in Indonesia with their diverse aspirations from the very beginning of Indonesia as a nation state until the collapse of Suharto regime. In terms of Islamic political struggle, this explains that there was a shift from legalistic-formalistic Islamic political articulation in the Old Order and the beginning of New Order Era into more substantiality pragmatic method. This eventually leads to the formation on the theorization of political Islam since there is no a single definitive theory of political Islam in the Islamic scholarship. Muslims in Indonesia have offered a brilliant concept Pancasila' as a solution in the multicultural situation like Indonesia. Pancasila was considered not only by the founding fathers of Indonesia but also by majority of Indonesian Muslims as an interpretation and contextualization of Islamic Politics in the pluralist society of Indonesia in order to create more harmonious and peaceful life.Key Words: Islam, State, Muslim Politics
