Abstract

Persatuan Bulu Tangkis Seluruh Indonesia (PBSI) is an organization that manages the game of badminton in Indonesia. The Palembang branch of PBSI has so far held a competition that has not used special software, from registration to the results of the competition. The problem that often occurs is the frequent occurrence of misinformation about the race. For this reason, an application will be made that can help accommodate the race administration, starting from the registration of the race to the results of the race. Application created using the website. The development method used in making applications is the Web Engineering method. The programming language used is using PHP and the database is used using MySql. The results of this study are expected to make it easier for athletes to see information about race events, match schedules, race registration, making it easier for badminton clubs to register their athletes in competitions held by PBSI

Abstract

Living in the digital era and in a society that recognises the importance of technology, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plays a major role in almost every point of life and particularly in education. Teachers play a major role in the teaching and learning of foreign languages. Mobile applications open new opportunities for learning how to read and speak different languages. One such mobile application that is used in education to facilitate learning of new language is the mobile translator. Although, there are numerous language translator applications that are freely available online, most of them have different shortcomings. This study focused on filling the gap of different shortcomings presented by different translator applications and specifically cater the mobile application for the FNCC curriculum. The main objective of this study was to design and develop a mobile translator application to facilitate the effective teaching of beginner level French for children at FNCC. Interviews were carried out as a data collection method to identify the requirements for the mobile translator application. The French teachers at the FNCC (Franco Namibia Cultural Centre) served as a sample group. Purposive sampling method was used to identify the participants and two teachers were selected. The application was developed following the incremental process model, an android mobile application was designed and developed, the application was evaluated using the PACMAD usability model, the incremental testing were adopted. The findings of the research show that there are different teaching strategies used in teaching and learning of French. Features were incorporated on the mobile application that are believed to enhance teaching and learning of French at beginner level. The PACMAD usability model determined what other French applications (which were purposively selected) lack and a comparison was carried out between the selected applications. The results of the comparison determined what should be included in the French mobile application for beginner level for children at the FNCC.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, IS and IT are utilized to be able to compete and increase company productivity. Information system strategic planning is one of the keys in achieving the target expected by the company. NUSATOVEL PT has implemented an information system, but there are still some parts that have not implemented the information system. The information system strategy planning model uses the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis, Value Chain analysis, and Mc Farlan's Strategic Grid. By using this method various factors that affect the company, both internal and external are analyzed to get a formula that is the basis for preparing a new IS / IT strategy in the form of an IS / IT portfolio, which can then be used as a strategic plan. Research using this method makes strategic planning for IS / IT that can provide recommendations or solutions to the development and implementation of IS / IT that is more effective and efficient for the company. The proposed information system strategy, namely Graphic Design SI, Customer Relations Manager SI, SI Services, can be implemented within the next 3 (three) years.

Abstract

Information Systems at this time is needed by the company to survive in business competition with competitors. The information system must also be aligned with the vision and mission and business processes that exist in the company now days so company can generate profits (profitable) at the same time. PT. Hostingan Awan Indonesia is a web development product & service provider company with online transaction feature and purchase processes that integrated with mobile payments. To make business process run optimally, an information system is needed to archive every output document that produced by each division in the company. The process of collecting data in this paper through observation and direct interviews with several stakeholders in the company. This research used Ward & Peppard metho with internal value chain analysis, SWOT, PEST, Five Forces Porter and Mc Farlan Strategic Grid. This research also provides application portfolio recommendations with internal business environment analysis, external business environment analysis, internal SI environmental analysis and external SI environmental analysis.

Abstract

sinar baru adalah sebuah agen sembako yang berada di daerah kemanggisan kota Jakarta barat, sinar baru menjual berbagai sembako yang diperlukan dengan semakin banyaknya pembeli maka dari itu dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang mempermudah untuk pembelian atau pemesenan sembako tersebut, masalah yang terjadi adalah masih manualnya pencatatan persediaan barang pada agen yang mengakibatkan sering terjadinya kesalahan dalam pencatatan barang yang masuk dan keluar pada agen dan juga dalam hal pemesanan barang pelanggan diharuskan datang ke agen tersebut yang mengakibatkan memakan waktu yang tidak efektif. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode FIFO yakni barang yang pertama kali masuk atau datang akan terlebih dahulu dijual,UML digunakan untuk mendesain aplikasi dengan menggunakan Usecase Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagram, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara, hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi dapat mengakses ketersediaan barang yang ada, laporan penjualan, laporan pembelian, laporan barang masuk, laporan barang keluar, laporan laba, laporan data pelanggan dan laporan stok barang

Abstract

Aspek penting pengukuran kualitas aplikasi adalah usability. Tingkat usability dapat menentukan sejauh mana sebuah produk atau layanan dapat digunakan pengguna untuk mencapai tujuannya dan seberapa mudah dalam menggunakan antarmuka aplikasi tersebut. Aplikasi dengan tingkat usability yang tinggi biasanya akan memiliki pengguna yang banyak dan setia. Begitu juga sebaliknya, jika tingkat usability suatu aplikasi rendah pada akhirnya akan ditinggalkan oleh pengguna dan beralih ke aplikasi lain. Pada penelitian ini, aplikasi yang akan di analisa adalah aplikasi layanan pengaduan masyarakat di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin yang bernama Aplikasi Saluran Elektronik Layanan Jaring Aspirasi dan Aduan Warga Musi Banyuasin atau Senjang Muba. Aplikasi ini menyediakan form untuk diisi oleh masyarakat yang ingin membuat pengaduan. Pengukuran usability melibatkan pengujian langsung pada sampel pengguna. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan kuesioner yang mengacu pada Standard Usability Questionnaires, yaitu System Usability Scale (SUS)

Abstract

Information in the form of an agenda made by the teacher is an important thing that parents should know, but the fact is that parents are mostly late in getting all of this information. With the real time features that have been developed in mobile applications today, this problem can be overcome. This study aims to implement the push notification function in applications used by parents and teachers in school. This application is useful as a connector that provides an agenda between users, so all parents can find out the information agenda in real time. We are using prototyping method which consists of the stages of gathering needs, building prototyping, evaluating prototyping, coding, system test, system evaluating, and system implementation. The system built runs well that proved by the blackbox testing carried out. The results of the test show that all the features of the system run intact and well.

Abstract

Customer analysis is receiving special attention from both researchers and professionals. The objective of this paper is to identify the trends of techniques used to address customer’s current problems and shed light on future research directions using a literature review. We reviewed the literature for the last five years. The findings revealed that customer purchase was the most popular technique used by the research community followed by customer satisfaction and visit wit. Whereas customer segmentation and customer churn were the least. However, the regression method was commonly used for predicting customer purchase and behavior. But, social media and big data are still in their early stages for customer analytics research.

Abstract

Usability memiliki peranan yang amat begitu penting agar sebuah situs dapat bertahan, dengan usability yang tinggi maka sebuah website akan semakin banyak dikunjungi oleh pengguna internet. Untuk itu pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengukuran tingkat usability untuk mengetahui perspektif pengguna terhadap website conference Bina Darma Conference on Computer Science. Dalam melakukan pengukuran usability digunakan teknik pengukuran system usability scale. Penggunaan teknik ini karena pengukuran melibatkan pengguna akhir dari website atau dengan kata lain end user sebagai responden pengukuran. Alasan lain dilakukakannya pengukuran untuk melihat secara nyata tingkat partisipan pengguna =dalam menggunakan website serta terdapat kendala-kendala yang muncul saat menggunakan website conference Bina Darma khususnya Bina Darma Conference on Computer Science. Hasil dari pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa pengguna atau responden memberikan nilai terhadap website conference Bina Darma Conference on Computer Science dapat digunakan dengan mudah yang dibuktikan dengan nilai yang diberkan responden mayoritas lebih dari 80

Abstract

The Security systems using cameras as monitors or what is commonly known as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) have recently become more prevalent. However, to have a monitoring system or monitoring requires a fairly expensive cost to buy hardware and installation services. On the other hand, the development of mobile devices is increasingly being used, such as smartphones and tablets. The ease of carrying and the variety of applications available such as WIFI devices and a series of other applications and at relatively affordable prices have made this mobile device more and more in demand by the public today. This research is based on the idea of ​​creating a CCTV camera application using a smartphone that is always with us. This use will be useful for seeing the state of the room or certain places and can be monitored directly using the Android mobile device itself or from a Laptop / PC / Tablet and others.
