Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya or called PLTS Microgrid is one solution to meet the needs of electricity. Microgrid is a system designed by utilizing 2 sources of electrical energy, one of the energy sources can be obtained from PV with a PLN grid source. In this system, the management is carried out with different treatments on each load. For lights and fans, the load is regulated by the PIR sensor. both will light up when the sensor detects the presence of humans. Meanwhile, the charger itself can be used at any time. The microgrid system can work with a switching process for 1 second with the condition that when the voltage on the battery is less than 12,1 V, the system will receive a supply from PLN. PV is capable of charging the battery with a voltage in the morning and afternoon of 18V with the output voltage generated by the Buck Boost Converter still not reaching the set point, which is still at 12,5 v until 13 V. This is due to the control on the hardware still not working perfectly. The use of PIR sensors to regulate load ignition can reduce excessive load usage. In this system the current sensor readings are not good when integration testing is carried out, so the load power that is read does not match the power in the plan, which is 8 W while in the planning it is 26 W.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of temperature on the characteristics of bio-oil on the pyrolysis of Sunan candlenut oilcake (SCO). SCO is the waste that arises from the compression of the Sunan candlenut seeds in the biodiesel production process, which can be converted into bio-oil as a raw material for bio-fuel. Furthermore, to obtain bio-oil, SCO was pyrolyzed in a fixed bed reactor and the temperature varied at 250,350, 450, 550, and 650 oC to find the best conditions. The bio-oil was tested for the properties of the hydrocarbon compounds contained using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and then compared. The results show that the percentage of hydrocarbons increases with increasing temperature. The bio-oil from the pyrolysis of SCO contains more than 70% hydrocarbon compounds at temperatures above 450 oC. Aromatic hydrocarbon increases with increasing temperature and are stable from 550 oC. Based on the results, it can be stated that the pyrolysis of SCO with the aim of obtaining bio-oil with optimum hydrocarbons content can be carried out at temperature intervals of 450 to 550 oC.

Abstract

The microgrid system is an interconnected network system of various energy sources distributed into a small network that can operate independently or connected to the main network (PLN). The purpose of using the system microgrid is to create a more efficient method of generating electrical energy by utilizing renewable energy as a source of electrical energy. In this final project, a DC system microgrid with hybrid PV and PLN is made to supply a 12 V 19 W DC pump used in the pond. Two 50Wp PVs are installed in series and one 12V 33Ah lead acid battery is used as storage energy for PV output. Two 50 Wp PVs arranged in series are capable of producing a maximum voltage of up to 34 V when the irradiation value is above 1000 Wb/m2. With the use of PID control, the buck converter is able to reduce the PV output voltage from 34 V to a constant with an average output voltage of 13.798 V. The output of the buck converter is used as the value of the voltage charging on the battery. By doing test charging a battery close loop, the original battery voltage value was 12.48 V to 12.77 V with a charging time of 80 minutes. For the backup source, namely the PLN grid, used uncontrolled fullwave rectifier is as a rectifier from 220Vac to 24 Vdc. Because the required load voltage is 12 V, used voltage regulator is which regulates the output of the uncontrolled fullwave rectifier from 24 Vdc to 12 Vdc. The process switching between the PV source and the PLN grid source is carried out using the battery voltage value parameter. When the battery voltage value is more than 11.96 V the microcontroller will condition the main source relay (PV) to be ON and the backup source relay (PLN grid) is OFF, but when the battery voltage value is less than 11.96 V the microcontroller will condition the relay. the main source (PV) is OFF and the backup source relay (PLN) is ON.

Abstract

Theta-Star is an efficient algorithm that can be used to find an optimal path in a map with better performance compared to the A-Star algorithm. Combining the Theta-Star with Hierarchical Pathfinding further enhances its performance by abstracting a large map into several clusters. What this combination lacks is the capability to handle a dynamic element in the map. Without that capability, the agent could potentially collide with elements in the map that is undesirable in certain conditions, while adding that capability might reduce the pathfinding algorithm's performance. The proposed algorithm aims to provide the capability to handle dynamic elements without severe negative impact on the performance of the algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified in terms of execution time, number of nodes explored, final path length, and the number of collisions that occurred.

Abstract

Battery is a medium used to store electrical energy. Currently often found cases about the use of batteries that do not last long. This is because we often forget to turn off the device for charging when charging is complete. So that happens is that charging will continue to work even in an over current or over voltage state. In this system used battery type accu. The input voltage from the system charging is voltage PLN which is lowered by the transformer then rectified by the Uncontrolled Full Wave Rectifier and lowered again by Buck Converter. Method used is constant current constant voltage using PI control for the set point of current and output voltage of Buck Converter. The system used STM32F4 microcontrolleras the central control system. When battery is full the relay will work to stop the process charging then SMS gateway will send a notification that the charging is complete. From the test was found that the relay can disconnect when the input voltage of the buck converter is not according to the design and the relay is also able to disconnect when the battery output current is below 0.34 A to overcome overcharge. The implementation on hardware is in accordance with the plan so that the device can be used for charging with the method constant current constant voltage by maintaining acurrent charging of 1.049 A during the initial process charging and voltage charging of 13.8 V at the end of charging so as to prevent overcharge.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects, management of the project work time so that the project is completed on time, but in reality on the ground there are still many things that can hamper the work of the project, one of which is a work accident that occurs to project workers.. In the process of building the NICU-Ponek Building, workers on the project are very rarely using Personal Protective Equipment, even though it has been provided by the company. Based on this, the authors devised this plan with the aim of minimizing the risk of work accidents through the process of hazard identification, risk assessment, and continued risk control. This planning method was done by qualitative method by explaining variables at the hazard identification stage and processing data at the risk assessment stage. Quantitative methods are also used against questionnaire results at the risk assessment stage including validity tests. The results of planning at the hazard identification stage through the "Expert Test" questionnaire resulted in 74 variables and 290 indicators that will be influential and continue to the end of the risk assessment questionnaire. At the risk assessment phase through a risk assessment questionnaire produces 3 types of risk levels, namely low risk rating, moderate and high risk rating which is further controlled by advanced risk controlling. Based on the results of the risk assessment questionnaire, there are 32 variables and 38 indicators that have a high rating of risk carried out by means of technical control and administrative control.
