Abstract

Teachers in the organization are a very important factor in improving the quality of an educational institution. Teachers are required to have high performance. Performance is closely related to the discipline and work commitment of a teacher. Therefore, the research aims to analyze the relationship of work discipline and work commitment to the performance of Islamic Religious Education teachers in SMA in Pidie district. This research is a field research (quantitative field study) that is direct observation on several variables of the object under study. The population in this research is all PAI teachers in SMA Pidie district that is 63 people. The entire population sample by the method of saturated sampling technique. Methods of data collection are observation, documentation, and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistics version 21. The results showed that: 1) The relationship of work discipline to the performance of PAI teachers in SMA Pidie district have a positive effect. 2) Relation of work commitment to teacher performance also has positive effect. 3) The relationship of work discipline and work commitment together affect the teacher performance, seen from the F-count is 6.731 greater than F table 2.85 or probability 0.000, below the value of significance 0.05, means the variable discipline and work commitment in simultaneous effect on teacher performance. The amount of influence is obtained from Adjusted Ratio of 0,680, that independent variable that is work discipline and work commitment able to explain the dependent variable is performance equal to 68% while the rest equal to 32% explained by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

Community paradigm of education has changed, one of the things that changes the learning paradigm is the application of cooperation between parents and teachers in learning. Applying the pattern of teacher and parent relations in education at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Aceh Tamiang, is a relationship pattern that can establish communication between teachers and parents in education in MAN ManyakPayed and MAN Kualasimpang. This study aims to determine the roles and functions, form of communication, shared responsibility, form of cooperation, form of effort between teachers and parents in MAN ManyakPayed and MAN Kualasimpang in Aceh Tamiang. This research uses qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were teachers and parents at MAN Aceh Tamiang. As for data collection techniques in this study include observation and interviews. Furthermore, Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the role and function of teachers and parents as partners, guide, direct and supervise. Form of communication is by through an official letter from the school and a visit to the home of his parents in order to know the true condition of the students. The efforts of teachers and parents in MAN and MAN Kualasimpang provide motivation to learn, create a harmonious atmosphere in the family, providing for the needs of children.

Abstract

In the city of Langsa, the violation of Islamic sharia qanun (regional bylaws) has shown a declining trend; however, it still accounts for a large proportion. This is a surprising issue since it is believed that the Wilayatul Hisbah (Islamic religious police force) of Langsa has performed its duties and functions properly. To respond to the issue, the study of this thesis formulated several questions, including: what are the da’wah strategies used by the Wilayatul Hisbah in supervising the Islamic sharia in Langsa? and how are the da’wah strategies of the Wilayatul Hisbahin supervising the Islamic sharia against the perspective of manhaj da’wah? The study used field research approach, using qualitative descriptive analysis method. Data were collected by interview and documentation. The results of the study showed that the Wilayatul Hisbah of Langsa employed two types of da’wah strategies: da’wah bi al-lisan (oral da’wah) and da’wah bi al-hal(practical da’wah). Da’wah bi al-lisanincluded speech, Jum’ah sermon, appeal, discussion, and advice/guidance. Da’wah bi al-halinvolved patrol and raid. Further, in the view of the da’wah manhaj, the da’wah strategies used structural and cultural approaches. The structural approaches included (a) the supervision of the Islamic sharia was conducted by an official institution formed by the government, which was the Wilayatul Hisbah, (b) the Wilayatul Hisbah and the Islamic Sharia Office was merged institutionally, (c) the establishment of Islamic sharia supervisors at the village level by the Wilayatul Hisbah and the sharia supervisors by the village officers, and (d) the development of cooperation between the government agencies (e.g. Islamic Sharia Office, Ulama Consultative Assembly, Civil Service Police Unit, Police, Indonesian National Army, Sharia Court, and non-governmental (Islamic) organizations). The cultural approaches involved implementing the strategic da’wah methods and strategies. The da’wah methods of the Wilayatul Hisbah have been in line with the Qur’an chapter An-Nahl verse 125, which describes da’wah bi al-hikmah (wisdom), da’wah bi al-mauidza al-hasanah (good advice), and da’wah al-mujadalah bi al-latihiya ahsan (good dialog).

Abstract

Majority of muslims believed that all the speech and deeds of prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is a revelation. Because Muhammad occupies the position as an apostle who serves as a transmitter of Islamic teaching. Then indirectly, none of the words or deeds are done without the identity of revelation and supervision of Allah. However, it doesn’t mean that Muhammad is separated from Humanity side as human being. Muhammad remained as an ordinary human who also possessed life and spiritual needs as human being. But there are some muslims who have not fully understood about the action of Muhammad, not a few who still assume that any actions done by Muhammad contain legal consequences that binded or otherwise. From that perspective there needs to be an deeper review of the activities of Muhammad deeds. Such in reviews have been conducted by Ushuliyyun, ultimately found among some of Muhammads action born of his spontaneity, initiative or humanitarian attitude and as well as acts that are peculiar to him alone. In the end, it will have implications on different contens and levels of laws. From what indicates to the compulsory law, sunnah, or just to show permissibility only.

Abstract

Strategy digital marketing is a step taken by the Islamic philanthropic institution in introducing all products or social programs by disseminating information, approaching/offering to potential donors to be willing to help materially and morally by using online digital media in a certain period of time. Islamic philanthropy is the act of a Muslim who loves his fellow human beings and the value of humanity, thus contributing his time, money, and energy to help others with Islamic values. The purpose of this study is to examine the marketing strategies used by PKPU and Rumah Zakat through digital media in disseminating each program of the institution and to analyze strategy digital marketing to the collection and distribution of ZIS funds by PKPU and Rumah Zakat from 2012-2017. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method that focuses on the primary data source and secondary data. Methods of data collection are observation, interviews, and online media surveys. The results show that strategy digital marketing used by PKPU and Rumah Zakat with an Integrated digital marketing method consisting of content marketing, mobile marketing, continuous marketing, visual marketing, personalized marketing. Strategy digital marketing is giving a positive influence on the collection and distribution of people's funds by PKPU and Rumah Zakat. It is suggested that to develop institutional capacity in providing human resources of Islamic philanthropy is expected to keep increasing the creative and innovative IT capability in marketing the program and also make it easier for potential donors and donors to access the offered programs.

Abstract

Waqf is a very noble deed. Each waqf property must be managed and developed in accordance with the philosophical values of wisdom, which is to be good for social life and charity that always flows to the waqf. Such a goal, will not be achieved if the management of waqf is contrary to Islamic law and legislation, such as the management that occurred in Meureubo District caused a lot of problems. Therefore, this study formulates the management of waqf land, obstacles, and strategies for developing waqf land in Meureubo Sub-district, West Aceh District. This research is qualitative descriptive with a case study method or approach, carried out at KUA and Meureubo District communities. Data collection technique’s through interviews is observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and data verification to formulate the concept of findings based on waqf management theory. The result of the research shows that: (1) Management of waqf land management in Meureubo is not implemented well, because the manager is in the form of an individual. This form does not give birth to two management indicators that are: planning and organizing. (2) Obstacles in the management of waqf land are lack of community understanding about waqf, lack of awareness of wakif and nazir waqf, weak government institutional role, low-quality human resources, and lack of supervision. (3) The strategies are a) synergy between agencies or institutions, b) socialization of the representatives, c) improvement of the quality of the waqf ruling.

Abstract

The Syari'ah Financial Institution has a very strategic role in the efforts of developing a people's economy because the Shari'ah bank is oriented to benefits not only on profit maximization. The formulation of the problem in this paper is: How is the concept and application of Islamic Good Corporate Governance (IGCG) in Islamic Financial Institutions; and How the implementation of Good Corporate Governance in BPRS Hikmah Wakilah Banda Aceh. The purpose of writing is: To find out the concepts and application of Islamic Good Corporate Governance (IGCG) in Islamic financial institutions and also analyze the implementation of the concept of Islamic Good Corporate Governance (IGCG) in BPRS Hikmah Wakilah Banda Aceh. This study uses qualitative research methods, the approach taken is descriptive, namely to know and describe the reality of the events studied or research conducted on independent or single variables. Islamic Good Corporate Governance (IGCG) in Islamic Financial Institutions is very different as applied in conventional financial institutions. Islamic financial institutions always pay attention to aspects of legal sources, namely the Qur'an and the hadith, the principle of adherence to Islamic law is used as a basis in bermuamalah which does not contain elements of maisir, usury and gharar in every transaction. Management of PT. BPRS Hikmah Wakilah is in line with its vision and mission of providing services to the community, namely the shuttle system. So that customers who are small and medium entrepreneurs do not have to leave their place of business to deposit payments to the BPRS. Application of Islamic Good Corperate Governance at PT. BPRS Hikmah of Wakilah, namely with a system of transparency, trustworthiness and a guarantee mechanism for sharia compliance, so that BPRS Hikmah of time gets the trust of the community and stakeholders.

Abstract

A father has taken very important role in his children's life. The involvement of a father in the life of his child could considerably help his child’s growth in education. Therefore, a father should not put his responsibility in educating children on to his wife’s shoulder (to the mother) only, by having the reason that he is quite busy with his works. Simultaneously, the school has a great opportunity to help the child’s father to be involved in early childhood education. The objective of this study is to analyze the role of the child’s father in early childhood education, its correlation to the school’s programs and its strategies in involving the child’s father in early childhood education in the PAUD of Griya Ceria, and then to find out the constraints experienced by the school in involving the father in early childhood education in this school. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The data was collected through interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The result of the data analysis disclosed: (1) the role of the father in early childhood education in PAUD of Griya Ceria. This includes caring, spending for the living, shaping the intelligence, loving and giving good examples to the child. (2) The PAUD of Griya Ceria has carried out some programs to involve the father in early childhood education. Among them are parenting, art performances, communication with parents, and report card distribution. (3) There are some constraints faced by the school in involving fathers in early childhood education such as the children’s fathers who are busy, the working mothers and the absence of male teachers in the school.

Abstract

Dayah is a place for studying religion for the community and also as a guide for the community in terms of religious education, so the dayah is needed to guide and direct the community so that all their behavior and behavior are in accordance with the teachings of Islam. This research is elaborated into several problem formulations as follows: (1)How is the partnership between Dayah Darul Ihsan and local communities in Siem, Aceh Besar (2) How does Dayah Darul Ihsan give religious education for the local communities of Aceh Besar (3) What are the supporting factors and obstacles faced by Darul Ihsan in the implementation of religious education programs for local communities of Aceh Besar. This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research with methods of collecting data through interviews, observations and documents. As well as using interactive data analysis techniques with flow stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the background of the establishment of KOPELMA Darussalam, the concept of KOPELMA Darussalam proposed by Ali Hasjmy, and the relevance of Ali Hasjmy's educational thoughts with Aceh’s development through education. The study used a library research design, employing the primary data from Ali Hasjmy’s writings and the secondary data from two figures who had lived with and were close to Ali Hasjmy. The data were analyzed by using a descriptive analysis method. The results of the study revealed that Ali Hasjmy founded KOPELMA Darussalam as a manifestation of his educational, cultural, and political thoughts. This, in turn, gave birth to a big concept to Aceh’s development towards modernization, equipped with Islamic sharia, Acehnese culture and traditions, and science, after Aceh was hit by prolonged social conflict. The concept of KOPELMA Darussalam proposed by Ali Hasjmy intended to create KOPELMA Darussalam as a symbol of peace and love, a place to produce faithful and devoted humans to the religion and the nation, a place to establish science for humanity, a place to build "Pancasila"-instilled citizens, a symbol for the collapse of educational secularism and dichotomy of science in Aceh, a source of the realization of the Acehnese aspirations (i.e., of the ideals of justice and prosperity), an oasis of knowledge, and a manufacturer of people with devoted souls and spirit to the religion and the nation. To date, Ali Hasjmy's educational thinking about "The Ideal Concept of Darussalam (Abode of Peace)" is still relevant with the basis for Aceh's development through education.
