Abstract

Planning to improve the quality of graduates is the obligation of educational institutions, especially schools as an effort to realize the ideals of national education. Improving the quality of graduates in schools is usually carried out through the policy of the school principal who acts as a leader who mobilizes the school community to realize the school's vision, mission, goals and objectives through programs that are implemented in a planned and gradual manner. The goal to be achieved from quality improvement planning is produce quality graduates to prepare graduates to face their future. The preparation of quality improvement plans in schools is usually carried out in two stages, namely: preparation of a work program and preparation of a curriculum. This article aims to analyze plans to improve the quality of graduates along with their derivative discussions carried out by schools. This study uses library research methods. The findings of this article are that planning to improve the quality of graduates in schools is still oriented towards quantity and has not yet touched the quality dimension. The quality of graduates is only measured through numbers such as report cards, test scores, and the number of students who pass. The dimensions of quality as mandated in the law such as creative, responsible, independent and so on must also be considered. With regard to the increasingly high demands and competition in the world of work, this cannot be answered without solid personality qualities. One of the main personality qualities is creativity.

Abstract

Humans cannot be understood through their outward aspects (eksoteric), so also religion. if humans consist of the dimensions of the soul and body then religion also consists of the outer and inner dimensions, also called the spiritual dimension which in Islam is known as tasawuf. This article aims to describe the Sufism approach in Islamic studies that focuses on the wahdatul wujud of Hamzah Fansuri thought. Hamzah Fansuri is known as the first Sufi to introduce the doctrine of wahdatul wujud in the Archipelago. The teachings of wahdatul wujud focus on the process of defeating the ego (negating oneself) through self-purification, by imitating God's character as much as possible so that it can reach the stage of perfection called insan kamil. This research is a literature study that utilizes various relevant references using descriptive analysis methods. The results of this study say that the process of the journey of the human soul from beginning to end according to Hamzah Fansuri can be concluded with the process of tajalli and taraqqi through certain stages.

Abstract

The problems of akidah that arise are one of the impacts of not maximizing akidah education in Indonesia. The akidah education offered so far is a creed that focuses on (dogmatic) acceptance only. That Allah exists, the qur’an is true and everything must be accepted with trust and faith. In fact, when viewed from the object of the study of faith (akidah), it is included in the philosophical paradigm which demands rational arguments to strengthen faith so that it is not just taqlid. Problems such as surrendering to taqlid without adhering to the arguments that are in accordance with the teachings of the qur’an - namely conducting investigations by using reason - coupled with not mastering the correct creed because a lack of understanding and attention can lead to deviations and not infrequently even against the true creed. The problems above appear as implications rather than not being ma'rifatullah. Whereas in faith education, ma'rifatullah is the core of teaching that must be achieved. Looking at the phenomena that have been stated above, the author feels that this topic is very important to study and hopes that this paper will become a dedication to readers and academics so that the study of faith in Indonesian education can be given more attention so that it can achieve its core and objectives, namely ma'rifatullah The results of this study indicate that what is meant by the obligation of ma'rifatullah in Umm al-barahain Imam Sanusi is ma'rifah towards the attributes of Allah and all divine laws, not ma'rifah towards His essence and His essence because there is nothing know both. And a person is said to be ma'rifah when he fulfills the three characteristics of ma'rifah, namely jazm (belief with firm belief) in accordance with the truth and this belief must be accompanied by rational arguments.

Abstract

Among the developments in Islamic thought that are widely discussed is the science of kalam or theology. The science of kalam, or theology, has evolved rapidly over time, and many figures of Islamic thought, including Harun Nasution, have emerged. The purpose of this article is to learn about Harun Nasution's thought style and theology that he built. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data collection technique used was descriptive library research. The results of this study indicate that Harun Nasution has three basic principles of a model of thinking in building his rational theology, namely: 1. the idea of progress; 2. coexistence between absolute-textual (qath'i) and relativifiably contextual (zhanni) areas; and 3. using a rational method of thinking. Meanwhile, Harun Nasution's foundation in the theology he built was reason and revelation. Harun Nasution's thoughts were heavily influenced by Mu'tazilah's rational theological thoughts. This is reinforced by the many writings of Harun Nasution, which discuss the thoughts of Muhammad Abduh, who is one of the Mu'tazilah figures.

Abstract

The development of curriculum is an attempt to find out how to plan and organize the objectives, content, and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for the implementation of learning activities in accordance with developments and needs to achieve certain goals in an institution. The subject of the research in this study is the curriculum at SMP Bunga Matahari International School (BMIS). Descriptive analysis research employs data collection techniques such as observation and interviews. The analysis is divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research showed that the renewal carried out by SMP Bunga Matahari International School (BMIS) was developed by developing the 2013 curriculum and integrating it with the Pearson curriculum. First, the emphasis on development lies in linking learning material to the application of everyday life and situations that are happening. Second, learning methods that lead to learning with experience or practice Therefore, students will be able to absorb their knowledge to the maximum.

Abstract

In the implementation of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, surges or increases always occur in Indonesia every year, and are the cause of the emergence of a complex problem. there are many problems within the scope of hajj and umrah, such as the lack of a guiding role by the guide, resulting in the ignorance of the pilgrims about the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Law. The purpose of this study was to determine the Hajj ritual guidance strategy for the Office of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Banda Aceh and the factors that support and hinder the strategy of guidance for the Hajj rituals in improving the skills of pilgrims at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Banda Aceh. This research was conducted with a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the Strategy for guidance on Hajj rituals of the Office of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Banda Aceh in improving the skills of pilgrims by implementing a management strategy which includes 4 stages, the first is planning (planning). The second is organizing, the third is actuating, the fourth is supervision. Factors that support the existence of competent Hajj ritual guides, Have a legal umbrella, availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, Inhibiting factors, there is a profile of pilgrims whose education level is elementary school, there is an advanced age for pilgrims so that their physical condition decreases, and has an effect on the lack of concentration of pilgrims pilgrimage in the implementation of Hajj ritual guidance

Abstract

Art learning as one of the sciences taught in schools must be able to answer the challenge that Islamic values education can be taught through learning in class. The fact shows that art learning which has been carried out in schools is considered less effective. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's ability, the application process and the supporting and inhibiting factors in integrating Islamic values in art learning. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data obtained by interview, observation and documentation. The research informants were school principals, curriculum representatives, art teachers, and students at MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh and SMPIT Al-Fityan Aceh Besar. The results of the study show the teacher's ability to integrate Islamic values in art learning: (a) MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh; Teachers find it difficult to find Islamic values that are exactly equivalent to material concepts. (b) SMPIT Al-Fityan Aceh Besar; The teacher is able to relate Islamic values by following the hadith references narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. The implementation process carried out: (a) MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh; at the discussion stage the teacher tries to associate it with Islamic values. (b) SMPIT Al-Fityan Aceh Besar; The teacher tries to explain points about the afterlife messages as well as Islamic teachings. Supporting factors include the educational environment that combines general education and Islamic boarding school education, while the inhibiting factors are the teacher's ability level, which still has difficulties in integrating material.
