Abstract

Vendor assessment and selection are an essential thing, especially in the retail industry. A qualified vendor will help retail industry to achieve competitive price, product with high quality, deliver good services and an excellent delivery.  This study aims to create a new system and standardisation in vendor assessment and selection to help the procurement department in procuring process. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used in this study to determine weight for each assessment sub-category.  The Decision Support System (DSS) in spreadsheet used to help decision makers in determining which vendor should be maintained in their vendor list. This study applied in one of retail companies in Jakarta. Price, terms of payment, quality, delivery time and quantity, lead time product and responsiveness in taking return products are the factors that have been considered in vendor assessment and selection. The results of this study show that vendor X6, X10, X11, X12, X14 and X16 should not be maintained as retail vendor list.Vendor assessment and selection are an essential thing, especially in the retail industry. Abstract

At the research area, there was found the high content lime -clay, that is usually low plasticity clay. The purpose of this research, then, to improve engineering properties of high content lime-clay by addition of rice husk ash (RHA). To enhance the purpose, a series of experimental programs was undertaken. Firstly, the standard compaction test was done on the soil + lime with and without curing time. Secondly, to get optimum lime content, there was performed CBR and unconfined compression tests on the soil +lime, and it was found that optimum lime content is 4%. Then, the CBR and unconfined compression experiment were done on the soil + 4% lime + ( 5, 10, 15,20, 25%) of RHA with 7,21,28, 36  56 days curing time. The results indicate that there was no significant changes of optimum moisture content (OMC) and maximum dry density (MDD) due to addition of lime to the soil. The initial unconfined compression stress of soil sample was 41.5 kPa that is classified as soft clay. Due to addition of lime, there was significant improvement of CBR and unconfined compression stress on 4% of lime with 36 days curing period. The CBR value and unconfined compression stress on the soil + lime + RHA increase proportional to the proportion of RHA. With respect to curing time, there was the improvement of the CBR and unconfined compression stress of stabilized soil, and the significant improvement was found on 56 days curing time. However, there was no optimum curing time found in this research..

Abstract

Hiburan saat ini telah menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat Jakarta untuk menghilangkan kelelahan dan kebosanan dalam kegiatan pekerjaan sehari-hari. Dengan ketatnya persaingan di industri hiburan, karaoke keluarga dituntut untuk mempunyai strategi dalam berbisnis yang tepat dengan selalu melakukan inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain layanan yang inovatif bisnis karaoke keluarga untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya di industri hiburan. Wawancara, FGD, dan kuesioner dirancang untuk mendapatkan data-data yang diperlukan. Model integrasi NSD-EMF-Kano digunakan sebagai kerangka kerja dalam mengidentifikasi atribut layanan inovatif. Model new service development (NSD) digunakan untuk menggali ide-ide pelanggan untuk mengembangkan atribut-atribut layanan inovatif. Hasilnya digabungkan dengan 5 elemen experiential marketing framework (EMF), yaitu: sense, feel, think, act dan relate yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil pengalaman pelanggan. Setelah itu, akan dievaluasi dengan kuesioner Kano untuk menentukan kategori Kano. Hasilnya terdapat 19 atribut layanan inovatif karaoke keluarga yang teridentifikasi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) as part of a wireless sensor that requires data transmission with a frequency band of 15 kHz can use the NRF 24L01 device. In this paper we will see the ability of NRF 24L01 devices for sending audio data .  Transmission of audio data requires a transmitter and receiver (transceiver) with low power consumption. The NRF24L01 wireless communication module has the Ultra Low Power (ULP) feature, so it can last a long time with relatively low power consumption. This design can function optimally in a limited area, such as in 1 room. Audio data sent from the sending device (arduino and NRF 24L01) will be received by the receiving device (arduino and  NRF24L01), then it is converted to loudspeakers . Test results show good quality Audio data can be heard at a distance of 10 m.

Abstract

SME Kemplang Badak Panggang is an SME that sells Palembang-style Kemplang, which is baked and in the process requires sunlight to make dried kempang. Often during the manufacturing process to fulfill customer orders, this SME cannot complete the orders so it needs to be backordered. Because this the permanent customers, they are willing to wait. This research focuses on calculating the total annual production costs needed by considering backorder costs. The data needed is demand data for 2017-2018 in Jambi and Baturaja. By looking pattern of graph, it can be concluded that seasonal pattern, and forecasting are used for Hot Winter and Decomposition. Forecasting result are selected with the smallest MAD value. Data processing will begin by calculating the optimum quantity of backorder, the length of the waiting time and total costs for Jambi and Baturaja. Expected this research can help owner to find optimum costs during a year.
