Abstract

The dental health problems of preschool children are higher compared to primary schools, this is due to children not being able to do independent activities in brushing their teeth. The right behavior change strategy can be carried out by providing dental health education by parents and teachers using learning methods and media tailored to the child's development. Tedi's behavior change is a model of learning to brush teeth in an effort to establish preschooler brushing behavior with 10 days. This study aims to produce a model of tedi's behavior change as an effort to form the teeth brushing behavior of preschool children. Method: this research uses Research and Development (RD) and the test model uses quasy experiment pretest and posttest with control group design. The subjects of preschool children were divided into 3 groups: 1. Intervention of behavior change model 2. Model of tooth brushing 21 days as a control 3. Model of brushing teeth 1 day. Independent variables: tedi's behavior change model and the dependent variable: knowledge, attitudes and actions to brush parents' teeth. Data were tested using the intraclass correlation coefficient, repeated measure anova, friedman, one way anova and Kruskal wallis. Results: The implementation of Tedi's behavior change model training was equally effective with a 21-day brushing model (p 0.05) compared to a 1-day brushing model (p 0.005). Conclusion: The implementation of Tedi's behavior change model training is effective in improving parents' brushing behavior.

Abstract

Acute mastoiditis refers to suppurative infections of mastoid air cells. The mastoid is an air-filled cavity inside the temporal bone that is connected to the nasopharynx through the eustachian tube and is associated with mastoid water cells through the timpanic antrum (aditus ad antrum). Multislice Computed Tomography (MSCT) is currently the most accurate technique for studying the anatomy and pathology of temporal bones because it offers a very good picture of the ear. Windowing is the process by which the gray scale component of a CT image is manipulated through a CT number. The value of CT number is based on HU value of water which is 0, for bone has HU +1000 value up to +3000 HU, and air has HU -1000 value. This type of research is a qualitative study with an observational approach that aims to determine the MSCT Mastoid examination procedure with cases of mastoiditis in the Radiology Installation of RSUP dr. Kariadi Semarang. This paper was prepared with literature review, observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation in the field. The MSCT Mastoid examination procedure is done by scanning the head with the inner ear protocol. First the topogram is made first and then followed by scanning mastoid. In the case of mastoiditis, it does not require contrast media because the image that will be seen is the temporal bone, especially the mastoid. The image produced from the mastoiditis case shows that the left mastoid air cells are not visible. In this MSCT Mastoid examination windowing used is a bone window with window width 3000 and window level 500. Window width affects the contrast of the image, the higher the window width used, the image will look less contrast. While the window level will affect the level of brigtness (brightness) in the image. The higher the window level value used, the brighter the image. On the MSCT Mastoid examination, the purpose of using the window width 3000 and window level 500 is to see if the bone is forming the mastoid if there is an abnormality. It is expected that with the window width and window level ranges the pathology of mastoiditis can also be seen clearly, as in this case the mastoid air cells in the left area are not visible.

Abstract

Haemodynamic status which influences to serious condition of AMI. Observing the blood pressure, mean artery pressure, and heart rate are the main parameter of haemodynamic. One of the intervention to AMI patient aim to prevent the expansion of heart attack, also decrease pre-load and after-load with oxygen therapy supply. This study aimed to know the influence oxygen therapy supply to haemodynamic status in patient with AMI in Emergency Instalation of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. This study was a Pre Experimental Research with One Group Pre-post Test Design conducted one group of AMI patients who observed in haemodynamic status (blood pressure, mean artery pressure, and heart rate) before and after oxygen therapy supply. Research showed that 30 respondent with systolic (t = 6,662, p value0,05 is 0,000), dyastolic (Z = -3,763, p value0,05 is 0,000), mean artery pressure (t = 5,879, p value0,05 is 0,000), and heart rate (Z = -2,976, p value0,05 is 0,003). The conclusion showed p value0,05 so it means that oxygen therapy supply affects haemodynamic status in patient with Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from city Health Department depok In 2014 there were 17 cases of maternal deaths that are scattered throughout the District in Depok. PHC which has the highest number of midwives health workers are expected to contribute aid delivery by health personnel is high, but in District Cimanggis deliveries with health professionals (90.1%) is still below Depok (91.0%). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect midwife competencies and motivation to work on the performance of midwife of normal delivery care (APN) in the sub-district Puskesmas Cimanggis Year 2015. Desain study used cross sectional using a qualitative approach. The population in this study throughout the midwife who works at sub-district Puskesmas Cimanggis. In this study, using a total sampling of 30 midwives. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using SmartPLS 2.0 and SPSS 18. The results showed variable performance of midwife in the application of normal delivery care (APN) in the sub-district Puskesmas Cimanggis directly influenced by the competence of midwives (51.4%) and motivation to work (34.0%), while other factors not studied variables affect the performance of midwives at 14.6% is recommended to further improve the performance of midwives in applying the normal delivery care (APN) by providing training competence normal delivery care (APN) and provide reward for midwives who have good performance so as to motivate the other midwives to improve the performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Anxiety in labor can be reduced by using non-pharmacological method related to the basic purpose of reducing anxiety and transfer of pain in labor that is by doing therapeutic communication to patient with the aim to keep the patient and fetus as far as possible remain free from depressive effect by way of gives a sense of comfort so as not to interfere with uterine contractions. Therefore, the authors are interested to examine the effect of therapeutic communication on the first and second stage of labor in the mother primigravida. Research type was Quasi Eksperimen, and Non-Equivalent Control Group, sample 20 respondents (primigravida mother). Data analysis with Independent T-Test. From 10 respondents of the experimental group and 10 non experimental groups, the duration of the active phase in the experimental group averaged 272.00 minutes (Sd.14.56), the mean second time was 22.50 minutes (Sd 6.34 ), The mean duration of labor was 299.00 minutes (Sd.19,40), whereas the first non-experimental group in the first stage was on average 316.00 minutes (Sd.15,95), the second stage was 32.00 minutes (Sd .7,52), the mean duration of labor was 348.00 minutes (Sd.19,60). Test T-Test value p (0,000) α (0,05) at time of I,value p (0,007) α (0,05) at second stage and value   p (0,000) α (0,05) length of labor. It was concluded that there was an effect of therapeutic communication with the time period I and Kala II of labor.             Keywords : Therapeutic Communication, Kala I and Kala II Childbirth
