Abstract

Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) are part of the community who are powerless both physically, mentally and socially, so they need special attention in handling them. Children who are well protected create a quality generation, which is needed for the future of the nation. For reasons of physical, mental and social immaturity, children need special attention and guidance, including legal protection both before and after birth. Children have the right to special protection and opportunities guaranteed by law and other means to grow and develop physically, mentally and socially. Protection of children is carried out in all aspects of life, special protection and obtaining opportunities guaranteed by law and other means, to grow and develop physically, mentally and socially. Protection of children is carried out in all aspects of life, including in this case in juvenile criminal justice. This research is a normative legal research that is strengthened by primary data to sharpen the analysis. The results show that the application of diversion in handling children in order to realize the concept of restorative justice or balanced justice between perpetrators and victims is a breakthrough in the juvenile criminal justice system. The results of the study show that the application of diversion in juvenile justice in order to realize restorative justice is the right step to prevent children from criminal justice which has the potential to rob children of independence. the application of punishment to children is the last option and is carried out in the shortest possible time

Abstract

Perineal rupture occurs in almost every first delivery and it is highly possible to occur in the next delivery. In the 2020, there were 2.7 million cases of perineal rupture injuries worldwide, with 26% of them followed by slow recovery, which takes more than 7 days after childbirth. Perineal rupture is also a significant issue in Asian. In Indonesia, one in five delivery ended with the death of mother because of perineal rupture which cause bleeding and infection. This research attempted to assess the knowledge of postpartum mothers regarding perineal care in the Post Natal Care of Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar. Descriptive observational employed in carrying out the research. 30 women who were undergoing postpartum treatment were used as population for this research, where sampling technique used was total sampling. Data collected through through questionnaires. The research revealed that out of 30 respondents studied, 5 (16.7%) have good knowledge, 20 (66.7%) have enough (fair) knowledge, and 5 (16.7%) have poor knowledge. As a conclusion, the majority of postpartum mothers in the Post Natal Care ward of RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar have fair knowledge. The research recommend that the medical staffs-specially those who are working at Post Natal Care-to continuously provide education to postpartum mothers about proper perineal care

Abstract

Flood natural disasters have caused significant material losses, occurring 4 (four) times between 2000 and 2019 in West Sumbawa Regency. The natural disaster of flooding is one of the hydrometeorological disasters in West Sumbawa Regency. The aim of this research is to examine the control of natural flood disasters in West Sumbawa Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The Regional Government of West Sumbawa Regency, through the BPBD, has handled natural flood disasters, including taking precautions by building flood control infrastructure such as the Bintang Bano Dam, Tiu Suntuk Dam, and Bronjong in the Rea Watershed and using stilt houses in the West Sumbawa community. The research results show that West Sumbawa Regency is vulnerable to being affected by high rainfall which makes it frequently affected by flood disasters
