Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar mata kuliah Analisis Real yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Mataram. Metode dalam penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan pengembangan 4-D (Four D) yang terdiri ata 4 tahap yaitu Tahap pendefinisian (define), Tahap perancangan (design), Tahap pengembangan (develop), dan Tahap pendesiminasian (desseminate). Bahan ajar diujicobakan pada mahasiswa semester VI-D Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika IAIN Mataram. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi bahan ajar, lembar kuesioner motivasi belajar, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah dihasilkan bahan ajar mata kuliah Analisis Real. Bahan ajar dikembangkan dengan 4 tahapan pengembangan yaitu tahap pendefinisian meliputi mengkaji hubungan komponen (tujuan instruksional, GBPP, kebutuhn mahasiswa, analisis materi). Tahap perancangan adalah tahap menulis dan membuat perangkat bahan ajar (merumuskan tujuan instruksional dan metode penulisan buku ajar kompilasi). Selanjutnya tahap pengembangan meliputi pengembangan bahan ajar dengan menghasilkan desain bahan ajar, desain lembar kritik, desain kuis dan desain kuesioner serta melakukan vaildasi bahan ajar. Tahap berikutnya adalah tahap desiminasi dengan melakukan uji coba untung mematangkan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan penilaian validator terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan tergolong kategori baik dengan nilai 4,99 (skala 1-7). Menurut penilaian mahasiswa 88,46% mengatakan bahan ajar mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan uji statistik diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil uji coba bahan ajar yang dikembangkan tidak memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap motivasi bagi mahasiswa. Sementara porsentase kelulusan mahasiswa sebesar 72% dengan nilai kelulusan minimal C. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahan ajar mata kuliah Analisis Real mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar yang dikembangkan sudah cukup memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical logical thinking ability of students of SMP Negeri 1 Ternate on systems of linear equations in two variables materials. This research uses a qualitative research. Subject of this study were three students of class VIII-J SMP Negeri 1 Ternate. The data collection stage was conducting tests, categorizing students according to the KBLM level based on the test results, and conducting interviews with research subjects. The data analysis used in this study was to analyze the data from the test results and interviews. The results showed that students at KBLM Level 2 were able to say and write down what was known and what was asked about the questions correctly, were able to use the steps to solve systems of linear equations in two variables and these steps were correct, were able to provide arguments about all steps-steps to solve systems of linear equations in two variables, and be able to draw conclusions correctly on the final answer. Students at KBLM Level 2 were able to say and write down what was known and not write down what is asked, able to use the steps to solve systems of linear equations in two variables and these steps are correct, able to provide arguments about all steps to solve systems of linear equations in two variables, and able to draw conclusions correctly on the final answer. Abstract

During this time, reflective thinking and analytical skills have not been one of the objectives of mathematics and learners have not demonstrated reflective activity and analytic learning. The ability of the students ' reflective thinking and analytics is an important aspect to be examined and developed so that the learner's math learning is more optimal. The study aims to describe the ability of the students ' reflective thinking and analytic of junior high school in solving the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) model. This research is a qualitative descriptive study describing the reflective thinking skills and analytical students of junior high school in solving the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) model. The subject in this study is a class IX student consisting of three learners with the details of each of the 1 learners with reflective thinking skills, 1 student with analytic thinking skills and 1 student with reflective and analytical thinking skills. The data collection techniques used are tests of reflective thinking and analytical skills as well as interviews. Test Data and interviews are analyzed based on indicators that meet the ability of reflective thinking and analytical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques refer to the Miles and Hiberman concepts which include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. Data validity techniques use observer persistence, triangulation time and peer checking. The results of the study provide conclusions: 1) Subject 1 meets the indicator of the reflective thinking ability, subject 1 able to the reacting phase, comparing, less in the contemplating phase: 2) Subject 2 meets the analytical thinking ability indicator, subject 2 is capable at would phase, organizing and attributing: 3) Subject 3 meets the indicator of reflective thinking capabilities capable of the reacting, comparing, contemplating and subject 3, organizing and attributing

Abstract

This study aimed at: 1) producing a valid learning material of realistic mathematic for flat space solid edge material at VIII grade students of SMP Katolik Ambon; 2) finding out the effect of using learning material of mathematic realistic toward learning outcome for flat space solid edge material at VIII grade students of SMP Katolik Ambon. This study was an experiment research initialized by conducting development research to produce learning material oriented to realistic mathematic learning for flat space solid edge material at VIII grade. The development process of learning material followed the procedure of Thiagarajan 4-D model of development that had been modified without dissemination. The results of learning material development with realistic mathematic learning approach were lesson plan, learning material, students’ worksheet and learning outcome test, while the experiment was used to describe the learning effectiveness with realistic mathematic learning approach and to compare learning outcome between students who followed learning process with realistic mathematic learning approach and students who learnt conventionally for flat space solid edge material. The results showed that: 1) learning material with realistic mathematic learning approach for flat space solid edge material had fulfilled the criteria which was show by good expert validation, teachers’ activity in managing learning process, students’ activity, positive responses of teachers and students toward learning material and the average percentage of students learning outcome achieving 79% of whole students in the class; 2) students learning outcome was increased based on analysis of inferential statistic, so it could be concluded that the development of learning material of realistic mathematic affected students learning outcome for flat space solid edge material at VIII grade students of SMP Katolik Ambon

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of prospective students in the first year in validating mathematical proof. This student's perception is discussed based on the answers given to the proof of a theorem. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were three students from the second semester mathematics education study program at a university in East Java. Research subjects were chosen deliberately with the following considerations: prospective teacher students who use examples in making mathematical proof and good communication skills make research can facilitate students' perceptions in writing mathematical proof. The results showed that students had perceptions about who gave several examples so that the proof was called valid, one example of denying it could prove it was invalid and using formal proof that proved it could be proven valid

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar siswa pada materi pola bilangan melalui model pembelajaran Problem Solving, serta mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pola bilangan antara model pembelajaran Problem Solving dengan konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIIA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas VIIIB menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving, Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Satap Maba yang merupakan salah satu sekolah yang berada pada daerah tertinggal. Sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas VIIIA berjumlah 24 siswa dan VIIIB berjumlah 25 siswa analisis data menggunakan chi-kuadrat untuk normalitas data statistik uji parametrik yaitu uji t dengan berbantuan SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (i) Hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 5 Satap Maba pada materi pola bilangan setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Solving, dapat dilihat bahwa terdapat 1 siswa (4%) berkualifikasi baik sekali atau memuaskan, terdapat 5 siswa (20%) berkualifikasi baik, terdapat 11 siswa (44%) berkualifikasi cukup, terdapat 7 siswa (28%) berkualifiksi kurang, terdapat 1 siswa (4%) berkualifikasi sangat kurang. (ii) Berdasarkan uji-t, pada taraf nyata dan nilai Sig. adalah 0,022 maka diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara model pembelajaran Problem Solving dan pembelajaran konvensional yang diterapkan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pola bilangan
