Abstract

This paper aims to examine the political practice of symbol in the arena of local politics in Indonesia, by taking the focus on how the symbol is interpreted and used for various purposes, as a phenomenon that occurs in Fakfak (a Small town in West Papua). Based on qualitative data gathered from in-depth interviews and the results of observation field in Fakfak during the period 2012 to 20013, discovered three things that can be explained in this paper, first, the propaganda about The Furnace Three Stone as a symbol of harmony and peace in Fakfak, was accompanied the process of manipulation of symbols to various political interests of power. Second, the process of manipulating the symbols carried by mastering the control of the authority of interpretation and meaning (meaning regime) and conquered the power of civil society and local leaders to eliminate their critical reasoning. Third, this study shows that a political symbol at a certain level can create harmony and social stability, as evident from the low conflictual events in Fakfak. But socially, the politicization of the symbol will turn off the philosophical ideal values to be displayed and built through the symbol. Longer-term implications are potentially avoid appreciation and tend to gain public sympathy and antipathy deficit of meaning and the people in the future

Abstract

This research seeks to reveal how local Muslims in Maluku historically and politically dominated by traditional Sufic Islam. In that context, this study also want to describe the local Muslim in their religious relations in space tersimbolkan Moluccan culture in the local wisdom Pela (PG) and Gandong, Larwul Ngabal (LN), Aini Ain (AA), and others. Local Muslims with the typology that Sufic Traditional forming character akomudatif against local kearfian. But at the same time also resistant to mengendepankan attitude of religious fanaticism. In such form, Islam is like a local in Maluku two coins which Idenitas Islam and cultural identity can not be separated from each other, but at the same time, tensions Identity religion also occur as forms of currency pieces back to back with each other. Historically, local Islamic formed in power between the competing power of the power system of the Islamic empire in the Moluccas by colonial powers which also carries a religious mission and then gave birth to self-identification between "deng Kamong Katong" in the house the same ethnic identity. This tension produced by a long past as a result of the colonization process. The history of the new order with discretion helped produce tension in the room greeting and Sarane bureaucracy. Tensions are continuously throughout the history of human conflict terakomulasi be heartbreaking because it occurs in all regions of the Moluccas. The post-conflict, occurred a new consciousness to create a new identity that is more inclusive and open and not repeat the mistakes of the past are full of dominating and missionaries as postcolonial default

Abstract

ABSTRACT Multicultural is an interesting thing to be studied because every region and even everyone is different understanding of multiculturalism but it is sunnatullah to acknowledge its existence. But different apply multiculturalism with each other. Basically, the people of Ambon city have accepted multicultural with characteristics that differ with other people or with other cities in Indonesia. The most interesting thing in the multicultural community of Ambon city is about migrants or immigrant communities. For the people of Maluku and the people of Ambon city they are of the view that any immigrant society is still always stamped with immigrant istlah even though have children grandchild living in Ambon Maluku. Abstract

ABSTRACT Fundamentalism can be understood as a movement in a stream, ideology or religion that seeks to return its people to what is believed to be the foundations or principles (fundamental). The effort is done because according to them the beliefs of the people and the practice of religious teachings have deviated from the basic or principal religion. In an attempt to realize their understanding, fundamentalists often clash with other religions or with groups that disagree with them. One of the offers of improvement comes from a group of supporters of pluralism, namely the need for recognition of the truth of other religions. That means, all religions within him contain the truth of God in a relative portion. Their motto "All truth (religion) is relative". This motto affirms all truths as forms of relativity but at the same time affirms relativity as the only truth. Besides, by saying that all truths are relative, they have created counter-groups to deal with the faithful followers of formal religions that still remain fundamentalist. Abstract

This paper aims to determine the attitude of religiosity in the lives of Orang Basudara. HMI organizationally is a part of Indonesian history always brought peace to overcome suffering together in accordance with the lofty ideals of the Indonesian people as a form of moral responsibility on the order of Indonesian people, especially Orang Basudara which of course starts from himself. It is important for HMI to find the religious identity in the spirit of nationality to spiritual-Indonesia's pluralist. In analyzing the data, the author uses the historical method with qualitative approaches, analytical techniques which use is descriptive. Based on the results of the study concluded that the HMI trip along Orang Basudara since 1957 and has been realizing an inclusive religious attitude and partiality to the unity and togetherness with Orang Basudara. It is not to undermine its identity, but enrich the existence of humanity by accepting and understanding the cultural and religious characteristics that exist

Abstract

Abstrak Penulisan karya ilmiah yang berjudul “Manifesto Futurisme Filippo Tommaso Marinetti dan Progresivisme Agresif dalam Sejarah” bertujuan untuk memaparkan pemikiran Marinetti mengenai filsafat sejarah dan bagaimana konsekuensinya bagi kesadaran ontologis manusia sebagai makhluk yang menyejarah. Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kegelisahan eksistensial mengenai modernitas yang menawarkan perubahan dan kemajuan dengan cepat namun menyisakan lubang kehampaan di dalam diri manusia modern. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan, yang dilaksanakan melalui tahapan inventarisasi data, pengklasifikasian dan reduksi data, analisis data, dan penyajian data. Data-data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode interpretasi, heuristika, holistika, dan kesinambungan historis. Manifesto futurisme yang dimaklumatkan oleh Marinetti memandang gerak sejarah secara linier. Alur sejarah selalu bergerak maju ke depan secara progresif agresif dengan menghancurkan tradisi masa lampau. Futurisme menempatkan kecepatan menjadi simbol kemajuan, dan menjadi standar nilai moralitas dan estetis yang baik dan indah, sedangkan kelambanan adalah kejahatan. Futurisme yang progresif agresif dalam seni berhasil membuka ruang kreativitas yang baru dan inovatif, melahirkan aliran-aliran seni avant-garde yang mengubah sejarah estetika. Progresivisme agresif melahirkan invensi teknologi yang cepat dan semakin canggih, sehingga hidup manusia menjadi semakin mudah. Namun, progresivisme agresif mempunyai sisi yang negatif dan destruktif. Kemajuan yang terlalu mendewakan kecepatan, rasio, dan maskulinitas telah menyisakan kekosongan dalam diri manusia modern. Kekosongan tersebut dapat diisi oleh kelambanan yang reflektif untuk mere-evaluasi nilai-nilai hidup dengan menengok kembali pada nilai-nilai luhur tradisi. Kelambanan tersebut menciptakan jeda untuk mengkontemplasikan kembali makna keberadaan manusia dalam arus deras sejarah yang selalu berubah.

Abstract

Study sought to answer two research questions: (1) how Saniri domestic legitimacy in the role of indigenous peoples in the framework of State Seith, and (2) how social resistance against the power of the clan as a socio-cultural changes in society Seith State. The study used a phenomenological approach to the collection of data through observation and interviews with informants consisting of religious leaders, traditional leaders, soa head and head of youth. The results showed that the role of indigenous perangkar device- has spawned a local wisdom that comes from the rules, values and norms of the local community. The other side, which became the social dynamics in society Seith State is, as a result of political messages received by members of the community through print and electronic media has given rise to excessive openness and democracy

Abstract

ABSTRACT Early Childhood Education is a vehicle of education that is very fundamental in providing the basic framework for the formation and development of basic knowledge, attitude and skills in children. Given that Indonesia is a country with a diversity of cultures, multicultural education is the answer to many different backgrounds. Early-based early childhood education needs to be grown from an early age so that the future of society can be well ordered in accordance with the ideals of humanity in accordance with the culture of society.
