Abstract

The teacher as a professional educator should be able to act as a communicator and facilitator for learners in the class. As a teacher communicators must be able to convey the message of learning to students. The purpose of this research is to improve the activity and student learning outcomes through the implementation of a powerpoint media in social studies / Economics Human Beings subject matter of social and economic class VII. A Semester At SMP Negeri 1 Arjasa, the object of research is VII.A graders 32 people. The design of this study is a model scheme mengguanakan Hopkins Tagart with 4 phases: planning, action / action, observation and reflection. To obtain the data in this study using the method of observation, interviews and tests. Data analysis in this study used a qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results obtained from observations of student activity, from the observation of student activity on the implementation of the second cycle is apparent there is an increase in the average scores compare that achieved in the implementation of the first cycle is 85.68% to 93.49%, the highest increase in activity occurred in student activity in attention to teachers' notes and worksheets memngerjakan given by the teacher. In the results of observations conducted by researchers and observers membukktikan 1 that there is an increase in the activity of student learning in social studies learning eye using powerpoint media. Based on the data obtained from the results of the daily tests students' mastery learning is known that the percentage of students in the classical style on the second cycle of 87.50%, and there are 4 students who still have not been thoroughly studied individually. For data on the percentage of students in the classical activity of 93.49% and an excellent activity criteria. From all the research that has been carried out then the researcher can take the conclusion that the eyes of Learning learning learning through the application of IPS with the use of powerpoint media can increase the activity of Class VII students. A Semester in SMP Negeri 1 Arjasa Situbondo the.

Abstract

Learning activities were lower in social studies / Economics low impact on student learning outcomes. One of the factors that affect the learning model applied to teachers less arouse students' learning activities. The purpose of this research is to improve the activity and student learning outcomes through the application of Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) in social studies / Economics VII.A semester class at SMP Negeri 1 Cermee. The object of research is VII.A graders by 22 people. The design of this study is modeled by using the scheme Hopkins Tagart 4 phases: planning, action / action, observation and reflection. To obtain the data in this study using observation, interview and test. Data analysis in this study used a qualitative descriptive analysis. On the implementation of the first cycle, followed by 22 students. I cycle daily tests showed mastery learning students very well, reaching 81,82% of the 22 students, then the second cycle followed by all students VII.A class is 22 students and the implementation of daily test results obtained mastery learning has reached 90,91% the same with the results achieved in the implementation of the first cycle, but the implementation of this second cycle level of activity and students' understanding of the material is better than the execution in cycle I.The observations also showed increased activity of the students are pretty good it can be seen from the observation of the activities of the students who performed in the first cycle is equal to 79.54% with Active criteria. And the implementation of the second cycle observations showed satisfactory results, reaching 87.88%.Of all the explanation above, it can be known that the application of learning through the use of multimedia on social studies activities and student learning outcomes can be improved VII.A class because it is consistent with the objectives that you want to accomplish research, thus achieved the second cycle expressed classical completeness .

Abstract

The Examples Non Examples learning model is a learning model using images as a learning medium, which aims to encourage students to learn to think critically by solving the problems contained in the examples of the images presented. Making it easier for students to understand the material. The use of image media is structured and designed so that children can analyze the image into a form of a brief description of what is in the picture. The use of the Examples Non Examples learning model emphasizes the context of student analysis. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of biology on the subject of the human excretion system in class IX-A SMP Negeri 1 Prajekan. The low completeness of biology learning outcomes in class IX-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Prajekan is due to the KKM that must be taken> 70 out of 36 students only 25 students whose average score is> 70 which should be classical> 75% completeness criteria. It is also difficult to involve students actively due to the lack of students being directly involved in solving a problem in a material because teachers often use the lecture method so that students are only listeners. To determine the success of the education and teaching process in schools in changing the behavior of students towards the expected educational goals, it is necessary to assess learning outcomes. The aspects of achieving learning outcomes include three aspects, namely: cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This type of research is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle includes 4 stages of activity, namely: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that learning using the Examples Non Examples learning model in the first cycle, classical completeness in the cognitive domain is 75%, while in the affective domain it is 80.56% and in the psychomotor domain it is 80.55%, in the second cycle it is obtained The increase in learning outcomes from the cognitive domain was 86.36% while in the affective domain it was 83.33% and in the Psychomotor domain it was 86.11%. From this learning there was an increase in learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of 11.76%. In the affective aspect, it was 2.77% and psychomotor was 5.89%. The suggestion that the researcher can convey is that the application of the Examples Non Examples learning model should be used as an alternative to be applied to existing learning, so that students can understand the concept of biology well and can be applied to real life.

Abstract

One of the causes of poor quality of teaching biology because of the lack of blend with natural surroundings is a major study of the biology of learning, as well as lack of information and discussion to students in relation to science, environment, technology and society. Students are dreaming of learning to understand the material so it seemed boring. Recognizing the need to find a learning strategy that can support the learning process fun, mingle with nature and understand the benefits to everyday life so as to improve students' motivation as well as ease of understanding in learning biology. Thus it also would improve learning outcomes for students are satisfactory. This study describes a learning strategy TANDUR (Grow, Natural, Named, Demonstrate, and Celebrate Repeat) vision SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) with the goal of improving student learning outcomes class VII-E of Jangkar Junior High Scholl semester at subject diversity of living things. The research was conducted at Jangkar Junior High Scholl, Jangkar Kabuaten Situbondo. The research approach used is qualitative research with classroom action research. Data collection procedures include observation, interviews, documentation and testing. The results showed that the learning strategy TANDUR (Grow, Natural, Named, Demonstrate, Repeat and Celebrate) vision SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) to improve student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are known from scores obtained by the percentage of students in the classical student mastery of 92.31% and a mean score of 80 rats grade students. This is because student activity pembelaran better follow the strategy used by the researchers. Based on these results it can be suggested that the learning strategy TANDUR (Grow, Natural, Named, Demonstrate, Repeat and Celebrate) vision SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) is used as an alternative approach to sorting out the learning.
