Abstract

Religious coping is a way to overcome depression experienced by a person by improving the individual's relationship with God. This study aims to determine the relationship between religious coping and depression level. This study uses a cross sectional with purposive sampling technique. a sample of 59 respondents using the DASS instrument. The results of the calculation of the Rank Spearmean statistical test obtained the Correlation Coefficient results of 0.447 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 level (2-tailed), which means that Ho is rejected, there is a relationship between religious coping and the level of depression experienced by female inmates in Corrections. Female assisted residents who experience good religious coping, the prisoner does not experience depression or normalcy and vice versa.

Abstract

The phenomenon of divorce continues to increase every month and incessant news about divorce is always in the media. Divorce is a phenomenon nowadays because of an affair from her partner. The experience of someone who experiences divorce because of an affair is an experience that needs to be explored because it can provide understanding for families and couples to be able to maintain the integrity of the household. The focus of this study is "how the life experiences of divorced individuals due to partner infidelity in the city of Bandung." The research method uses qualitative research with Phenomenology. Data analysis using the Giorgi method (2005). Sampling by purposive sampling obtained 5 participants. The results obtained 4 themes, namely 1) Factors of divorce 2) Psychological Impacts 3) Support of friends and parents and 4) Hope for the future.

Abstract

The emergence of the nursing higher education system in Indonesia is expected to produce graduates who have the attitudes, knowledge and professional skills of nursing so that they are able to carry out their role in providing nursing services. The Indonesian government has implemented a higher education quality assurance system in the health sector, including a competency test. Competency test is a person's ability that can be observed which includes knowledge, skills and attitudes in completing a job or task with a set performance performance standard. According to data from the Association of Indonesian Nurse Education Institutions (AIPNI), the average UKOM Nurse graduation in October 2018 only reached 35.3%. Data from the Sari Mutiara Indonesia University, the pass rate for the 2018 Nurse Competency Test actually increased by 82%. Based on these data, it is necessary to identify student preparation in facing competency tests. The purpose of this study was to identify the strategies of the Nurse Profession students in facing the Nurse Competency Test. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this study were students of the Nurse Profession at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University. The sample in this study were 72 people using the total population technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that was created and tested by the researchers themselves. The validity test was carried out in different places, the results of validity and reliability were tested with the correlation between Pearson Product Moment and Cronbach's alpha, with a Cronbach Alpha value greater than 0.721. The data analysis used was univariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of students had a reference, namely (88.9%), the majority of students understood the blueprint of the questions well, which was (77.8%), all students (100%) attended intensive tutoring at campus and online tutoring, students (100%) participate in local and national tryouts. Nurse education institutions have a big responsibility in supporting the graduation of students from UKOM. So that the institution is expected to provide guidance to students in order to increase the graduation rate of UKOM and improve the quality of graduates.

Abstract

Garbage is the biggest problem faced by the fishing community, which has not yet been resolved, this is because many people are still not aware of the importance of the environment so that people do not care about the problems faced, instead people throw garbage in any place. Research Objectives to analyze the influence of knowledge and attitudes on community participation in waste management in the fishing village of Untia, Makassar City. This method of research is quantitative with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all families in the fishing village of Untia as many as 135 families. The determination of sample size is calculated using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. The sample in this study was 100 households. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Spearman Correlation test . The results showed that the level of knowledge of waste management categorized as good was 30 (30%), for attitudes classified as low 4 (4%), for participation categorized as low 82 (82%). There is an influence of knowledge and attitudes towards community participation in waste management. It is expected that all parties, both from village officials, the government and health workers, can provide counseling, socialization regarding waste management so that community participation in waste management can increase properly

Abstract

An appendectomy is a surgical procedure performed to cut the inflamed appendix tissue. Appendectomy can cause tissue continuity and pain in the peripheral nervous system. Non-pharmacological pain management can use classical music therapy and finger grips. A preliminary study conducted in RSUD Kab. Karanganyar found the incidence of appendectomy in July-September 2019 as many as 48 patients. To find out the comparison of classical music therapy and finger grips on the reduction of postoperative appendectomy pain, a Quasi experimental research method was used with two group comparisons pretest-posttest design, with the sampling technique is accidental sampling. From the results based on the Wilcoxon test in the classical music therapy group and finger grasping, the p value was 0.038, because the p value was <0.05, there was a difference in pain intensity before and after being given classical music therapy and finger grips. The Mann-Whitney test in the pre-test group obtained each p value of 0.650, because the p value> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in decreasing pain scale in postoperative appendectomy patients who are given finger grips and classical music. each of them has effectiveness in reducing post appendectomy pain. Classical music therapy and finger grips were equally effective in reducing postoperative pain in the appendectomy

Abstract

The risk of falling is susceptible to the patient so that nurse motivation is necessary in preventing the risk of falling child. Nurses are required to prevent falls in patients in care. This study aims to determine the relationship of motivation and practice of nurses and the relationship between motivation and practice of nurses in preventing the risk of falling on the child. This research uses correlation research design with cross sectional design. The sampling technique used total sampling with total sample as much as 108 respondents. The data collection tool uses motivational questionnaire and nursing practice. Data analysis using Sperman Rank test. Data processing is done univariat and bivariat. The results showed good motivation with good nurse practice as much as 47 (43,5%), enough motivation with good nurse practice as much 14 (13%), good motivation with practice nurse is 22 (20,4%), enough motivation with practice nurse while as many as 25 (23.1%). There is a motivational relationship with the practice of nurses in preventing the risk of falling In the Inpatient Room p value 0.01. (<0.05). Suggestions to improve nurse motivation in preventing risk of falling in children so that the risk of falling in children will not happen.
