Abstract

Workers from various industries can be exposed to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) risks in the workplace. Most cases of MSDs happen because of the accumulation of repetitive bad postures. Postural analysis can be done to implement changes that minimize MSDs risks in the workplace. The rapid entire body assessment (REBA) method provides an easy and fast measurement to analyze various postures. The accuracy of REBA assessments from observations is not good enough due to the limitations of human vision. The input of photo-based postural analysis also has a lot of error potential and takes up even more time. Therefore, this study aims to design a tool to do body posture measurements accurately and quickly. The Arduino-based postural analysis tool measures the position of several body segments, which are then used as the input of REBA in real time. The acceleration of each body segment recorded by the MPU6050 will be processed as displacement data and used to analyze the posture. The posture measurements detected by the tool is then used as input for REBA assessment. The device's accuracy was tested by comparing the photo-based postural analysis result to the postural analysis result of the tool. The reliability of the device was tested by Cronbach's Alpha method. The Cronbach's Alpha value of normal standing posture is 0.692, and the extreme posture's Cronbach's alpha value is 0.537. Multiple postures can be recorded at once using the tool. The tool can capture and assess multiple postures in approximately 6 minutes.

Abstract

Malware or malicious software is software or program code specifically designed to damage software on a computer or perform malicious activities. Malware is spread over the internet and includes viruses and other forms of malware. Losses caused by malware can take the form of financial losses or disruptions to business processes. Prevention of malware attacks can be achieved by analyzing the malware to find out how it works and what its characteristics are. This information can be utilized to define an Indicator of Compromise (IOC), which is stored in a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) system designed to be used as a source of information, such as the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) Suricata. An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can detect the presence of malware and can identify the same malware with the Signature Based Detection method. Furthermore, the database is stored by EveBox and organized to make it easier to read logs and alerts. All of these components are contained in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) model. The SIEM model can detect malware attacks based on their characteristics and store logs and alerts in real-time for deeper analysis by the Security Operations Center (SOC).

Abstract

Waste is a serious environmental problem worldwide. Waste can refer to various types of materials or substances resulting from human, industrial, agricultural and other activities. The waste problem covers aspects such as management, environmental impact and human health. In this paper, an Islamic perspective on waste recycling in building architecture is discussed. Case studies involving architectural works with the use of building waste reflect the principle of recycling in practice. Waste buildings are materials or structures which have been retired for their original purpose but which still have the potential to be reused with little or no major alterations. Architectural works such as households, community facilities, or even commercial buildings can use used materials that are still usable to reduce demand for new resources. However, in implementing the recycling concept in architecture, it is necessary to pay attention to several aspects, such as structural safety, quality of used materials, and compatibility with the surrounding environment. Abstract

This experimental study aims to evaluate the compressive strength of concrete using palm kernel shells as a substitution for coarse aggregates. The utilization of locally available materials in abundance, such as palm kernel shells, can serve as a sustainable alternative in construction. This research is conducted to measure the influence of palm kernel shell usage on the mechanical properties of concrete, particularly its compressive strength. The research methodology involves the preparation of concrete mixtures with various levels of substitution of coarse aggregates with palm kernel shells. Test specimens were prepared with substitution percentages of 0%, 25%, and 60% with planned ages of 7 days, 21 days, and 28 days. Three cube specimens were cast for each planned age. The test results were used to compare the compressive strength of concrete with and without palm kernel shells and to evaluate the potential of palm kernel shells as a substitute for coarse aggregates in structural concrete applications. The research findings indicate that the highest compressive strength was obtained in the concrete without any palm kernel shell mixture (0%), measuring 379.86 kg/cm2. The highest compressive strength with the substitution of coarse aggregates using palm kernel shells was found in the 25% mixture, with a value of 362.57 kg/cm2, while the lowest percentage was recorded in the 60% mixture, with a value of 270.65 kg/cm2. Palm kernel shells have the potential to be used as a substitute for coarse aggregates in concrete. However, their utilization needs to be carefully analyzed and tailored to the specific conditions and requirements of construction projects. This research provides initial insights into the use of palm kernel shells in concrete and can serve as a foundation for further research in the development of environmentally friendly concrete using sustainable local raw materials
