Abstract

Skin is a very important and sensitive part of the human body. It is directly related to the outside world. In everyday life, the skin plays an important role. One of its functions is to remove waste substances. The lack of knowledge and limited sources of information causes low public awareness of skin health as well as not seeing a doctor. Regular skin checks can overcome the beginning of skin diseases that might trigger other more dangerous diseases. The system in this study is designed to detect and to know the symptoms of facial skin diseases that are felt. This knowledge-based system design was developed to diagnose human facial skin disease using the dempster shafer method. The results can help detecting earlier facial skin diseases and overcoming them. Key words : diagnosis system, facial skin disease, dempster-shafer

Abstract

The process of running a trading business, businesses must always update information on market competition that occurs. Running a trading business is not just opening a business place and waiting for consumers to shop. Consumers will lightly come to shopping places to shop for various reasons. From cheap prices, attractive arrangements, large parking lots, to the ease of finding items to buy. From these problems, business people will compete on how to easily attract customers to their place of business. One way to solve these problems is by structuring merchandise with the aim of customers to easily get the items they are looking for. One way to solve these problems is by structuring merchandise with the aim of customers to easily get the items they are looking for. Arrangements that are made do not originate from arranging the location of goods according to taste but are carried out on the basis of trends or trends in goods purchased by consumers when shopping. This process is often referred to as the "Data Mining" process is one of the effective methods for finding consumers' preferences to choose the items they buy. This process can be completed using the Apriori algorithm. The principle used by the Apriori algorithm is that if an itemset appears frequently, then all subset of itemset must also appear frequently. This results in repeated checking and will require a short time. Problems that require a short time, a method is proposed, namely by developing to be able to reduce the travel time of the process. The length of time that occurs in the process of calculating the value of support and confidance and the repetition process to find the value. The method used is to manipulate the use of query languages with a k-way join research approach so that the optimal query language arrangement can be obtained. The results obtained in this study are that execution times are relatively faster, with the results of the same association rules as those produced by the Priori method without any development or modification.

Abstract

This research tries to reveal the performance of shading devices towards quantity of natural lighting entering the room. Investigation concerning shading devices (ratio between the depth of shading devices and the height of fenestration) that suitable with illumination standard needs to be done. This research also tries to find out the influence of shading devices orientation on illuminance received by the room. This research examines the performance of three types external shading devices (eggcrate, overhang, sidefins) towards natural lighting entering the room. The analysis performed by Radiance IES software for illuminance performance entering the room. Maximum illuminance reduction for three types of shading device achieved to north direction in R1 reference point. While minimum reduction for overhang and sidefins achieved to south orientation in R2 reference point. Except for eggcrate minimum illuminance reduction achieved to west direction in R2 reference point. It can be concluded that in general the three basic models of shading device have a strong influence on the direction towards the north and have a small effect on the direction of the south. In addition to the three basic elements of the shading element, the type of eggcrate shading device has the greatest effect of reducing illumination compared to the other two types. While the sidefins type has the smallest illumination effect.

Abstract

Locally unwanted land uses (LULUs) impact differently over time. Prison is one of the LULUs that may influence nearby real estate prices. Yeongdengpo Old Prison is located at the center of Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. After the fast urbanization of Seoul, nowadays that area is covered by apartments with more than 10 stories. Therefore, city planners of Seoul designed a new prison location outside the Seoul city. We assessed the apartment prices before the rumor of prison relocation, during the rumor stage, after the public announcement and after the relocation happens. We used average price of apartment sale in 2000, constant price of apartment sales from 2006 to 2012 and the nominal price and transaction prices of apartments from April 2013 to June 2013 for GIS analysis to determine distance effect of the prison within 500m. We used hedonic regression model to test the effects of area, age, unit, and distance from prison of apartments to its prices. The effect of relocation was not big enough compare to the first announcement of the relocation. Therefore, the distance premium mostly effected by the first public announcement of the relocation and the effect gradually diminished until the relocation happen.

Abstract

The Supporting System The decision to control basic food prices at the fisheries and forestry service is a system designed to assist relevant agencies in seeing prices of basic necessities which tend to increase at any time. At first the relevant agencies do recap calculations by storing data and still counting manually, so it requires a longer time, with the existence of this system it is expected to be able to help and provide solutions for consideration of decision making in accordance with the right calculations. The decision support method of calculation used is the SAW method that takes the greatest value to be used as a decision-making ranking. In addition, other methods used are data collection methods by observation and interviews to identify problems in developing support systems for basic food price control decisions. Model design is described using data flow diagrams (DAD) and entity relationship diagram (ERD).The system developed is able to record, calculate and provide alternative solutions effectively for relevant agencies. With this system, agencies are expected to be able to process the calculation of basic food prices better, select more accurate decisions, and take more effective alternative solutions.

Abstract

A database server called the Database Management System (DBMS) that relates tables in a database is called the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). DBMS/RDBMS is a computer program that provides data services for computers or other computer programs. One of the RDBMS type database server (hereinafter referred to as a database server) is MariaDB. The database server is in charge of managing and providing data, so data must always be ready, fast presented, accurate, and safe, it cannot be damaged or even lost. One way to provide this data is to install several database servers using the concept of replication in the Multiple Server Database system. Replication in a cluster server database is a method of installing several database server nodes that allow between node servers to copy each other and distribute data from one node to another database server node, which then synchronizes data between server nodes to maintain data consistency. This study looks for the most optimal number of minimal database server nodes to provide accurate, fast and safe data on the MariaDB Cluster RDBMS. From the results of the replication test from the cluster server database, it can be concluded that the number of 3 (three) node servers can be known to always synchronize and consistency of data between server nodes, so there are 3 (three) nodes of minimum database node with MariaDB RDBMS.

Abstract

Celebral Palsy (CP) is a disorder of muscle control which results from some damage to part of the brain. Children with cerebral palsy can have problems such as muscle weakness, awkardness, slowness, shakiness, and difficulty with balance. In severe cerebral palsy, the child may have many difficulties in performing everyday tasks and movements.  However, a proper treatment often brings an improvement, though not a cure. In terms of independent mobility particularly walking and standing, this study aims to design a walking assistive device called Vestmiles. The product design includes four parts: a belt, vest, sandals for parents, and sandals for children with the length and height successively: 47.3 cm and a 23 cm; 39.3 cm and 59 cm; 26.9 cm and 9.9 cm (parents? size of slippers); 23.9 cm and 6 cm (children?s size of slippers). To design the product, it is used the measurement gained from 3 Celebral Palsy children. This work is not only to support physiotherapy program, but also increasing relationship between children and parents. Vestmiles is a user friendly, lightweight, adaptable, efficient and cost effective device.
