Abstract

The shipping system is currently less efficient in shipping speed and not environmentally friendly, so it takes a long time to receive packages and increase air pollution. In this study create a new transportation that can accelerate the delivery of goods and environmentally friendly namely that is delivery drones. The advantages of using a drone are fuel-friendly, time efficiency. In this study fuzzy methods and mapping in the control system of the drone are used. In this study produce drones that can deliver goods automatically following a predetermined path.

Abstract

Hull construction must comply with the rules or classifications that have been recognized in the world of international shipping, in designing a storage platform designed by PT. X is designed for partners based reference, as a rule forms the design and calculations no rules. As for the mechanical properties of the material provisions remain in rules. Rules are used for shipbuilding 50 P.A.X crane barge is that BV (Bureau Veritas) rules. The analysis in this study using the finite element method-based software. With the software will be able to look forward strength and simulation constructs storage platforms that will support the weight of 6,4 tons (3,2 tons on portside and 3,2 tons on start board) in a static condition, dynamic, and impact. It aims to anticipate the possibility of the construction design error forward storage platform that could lead to an accident on the ship. Construction material storage platform forward using BV grade A steel.

Abstract

SKD 11 steel is a tool steel which is often applied in the manufacturing industry, such as cutting, punching, stamping tools, shear blades, dies and others. And in it’s application, of course steel must have a hard structure, strong and touhgness affected due to external forces causing deformation or change in shape. To improve the quality, heat treatment is required on the steel by providing austenizing, quenching and tempering temperature variations 400 °C, 550 °C and 650 °C. Which purpose to determine the hardness and microstructure of the tempering variation results. The first step of cutting material SKD 11 steel, followed by austenizing process up to 1050 °C and then quenching process (fast cooling) with medium water and continue the process of tempering variation 400 °C, 550 °C and 650 °C. After the heat treatment was complete, take hardness test and view the microstructure of the SKD 11 steel. At temperatures tempering 400 °C showed the highest hardness value of 56.5 HRC, followed by tempering temperatures 550 °C at 52.9 HRC and the lowest occurred at temperature tempering 650 °C at 39.1 HRC. Microstructure formed pearlite and martensite. Then the higher temperature tempering then the declining value of steel hardness SKD 11.

Abstract

Wellhead is one of equipment used in oil and gas drilling process. In the process of moving wellhead from one place to another, often used lifting equipment such as eyebolt. The use of lifting equipment to assist the lifting process and to make it easier and safer. Eyebolt is a threaded hook that serves as a lifting tool. To know the safety of eyebolt when used, an analysis of the mechanical behavior of the eyebolt is required. In addition, the different angle of lift will affect the maximum stress, strain, displacement, and Factor of Safety (FOS) values significantly. To know the comparison of angle difference is done simulation on software Solidwork with value of 575.604 N. The simulation process is done with angle 35°, 45°, 60°. The maximum stress occurs at an angle 35 ° that is 195.765 and safest FOS occurs at an angle 60° that is 2.7, it means if angle of lifting larger are used safer.

Abstract

Many food stalls are small businesses or home industries with a capital under 10 million rupiah and are generally located in the yard of the stall owner, and do not have branches. The most common obstacle was the lack of customers caused by the location of the stall which was not strategic and the information about the stall service was not widespread. OPEN API Warung Makan is the implementation of Community Service activities funded from an internal grant 2019 Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. This API is intended to be open to any application developer to take advantage of this free service to be aimed at food stalls that fall into the category of small businesses or home industries. OPEN API Warung Makan provides two parts of service, namely for customers and stall owners. OPEN API Warung Makan uses Raja Ali Haji Maritime University's cloud infrastructure and does not require Authentication Tokens or the like.

Abstract

Budget instability and increasing competition in the industrial world require companies to further improve the efficiency of their operations. A large level of downtime every month is very often found. Because the more downtime that occurs, the more detrimental to the productivity of a company. Disturbances that occur during the production process or routine activities that occur due to damage to machinery or other work facilities, must be prevented as early as possible. What is more important is that future disruptions do not occur again. Enhance the role of technicians and instructors as the maintenance team that first discusses the problem of engine failure that is used for practice to create integrated productive maintenance systems. Scheduled and planned maintenance can prevent damage to equipment and other work facilities. This research can eliminate simple examples of unnecessary damage. Approved preventive maintenance will produce an inventory of all components used that are delivered with scheduled maintenance. To carry out maintenance required work that is planned to be done in accordance with what will be done. The machine subject that is translated is the Printing Machine, where the machine's focus component to be allocated is a Dying Matter / Print Matter. From data processing and discussion, the most important parts are Cavity, Ejector Pin, Thermocouple, and Screw. The damage category found the recommended component replacement.

Abstract

In shipping industry, especially on ships, centrifugal pumps are used in piping systems. Pumps are the most component used for fluid transferring process of piping systems such as ballast systems, bilga systems, fire fighting systems, sanitary systems, fresh water systems and engine cooling systems. The used of pump capacity may varies depending on system requirements. On pump operation, especially centrifugal pumps can be used as a single, series, or parallel according to flow requirements and working pressure (pressure head). The characteristics of centrifugal pumps that are operated in series and parallel can be known through direct pump operation or can be done through the use of a visual aid. The pump operation trainer is designed as a learning aids to determine the characteristics of series and parallel centrifugal pumps. The purpose of this research is to design a model of test equipment for the characteristics of a series and parallel arrangement of centrifugal pumps. The research method is carried out in several stages such as designs, build and testing This research also made a plans for further development of automatic control and monitoring systems
