Jubindo adalah jurnal yang bersifat open peer review yang bertujuan mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian bidang bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, serta pengajarannya. Seluruh artikel yang terbit telah melewati proses penelaahan oleh mitra bestari dan penyuntingan oleh redaksi pelaksana. Jubindo diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Timor. Jurnal ini terbit tiga bulan dalam setahun, yakni April, Agustus, dan Desember. Fokus dan ruang lingkup kajian Jubindo terbatas pada bidang bahasa Indonesia, sastra, dan pengajarannya yang meliputi: bidang linguistik bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa daerah di Indonesia, yang terdiri atas: fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, semantik, pragmatik, analisis wacana, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, etnolinguistik, linguistik forensik, dan bidang linguistik lainnya. bidang sastra Indonesia atau sastra daerah di Indonesia, yang terdiri atas: teori sastra, apresiasi sastra, kritik sastra, sejarah sastra, dan tradisi lisan. bidang pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, yang terdiri atas: kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, evaluasi pembelajaran, keterampilan berbahasa, pendidikan karakter, dan analisis pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia lainnya.

Abstract

A mobile-learning based media is a learning media using android applications to deliver materials about the concept of procedure text for eighth graders of junior high school. The design model of Research and Development used is adapted from R2D2 and ASSURE to produce an efficient, attractive, and effective. Based on the results of product trials and field tests, it is evident that this learning media is able to foster enthusiasm or passion for student learning. This is because this learning media presents procedure text material along with interesting features to support the procedure text learning. The feature consists of sample procedure videos, online learning groups, KBBI online to search for word meanings, and quizzes to find out students' understanding.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) To classify the Sasak verbal-spells based on the variations of the language being used and the purpose of its implementation; and (2) to describe the function and its usage for the Sasak people in general and Ganggelang villagers, North Lombok in particular. This research uses a qualitative research method that both descriptive-interpretative. One of the reasons for choosing such a method is because it is compatible with the purpose of this research which is to document and describe the usage of Sasak verbal-spells. The data are collected by interviewing informants and gathering the results of the verbal-spells, its usage, and function by the Sasak people. To classify the data based on the language medium, a hermeneutic approach has been employed. The data analysis refers to perspective-constructivist model, that is directed by the intentions, categories that have been determined, and hypotheses that are aimed to be achieved. The result of this research, which is the verbal-spells then analyzed based on the language such as Arabic (verbal and written) spells, mixed between Sasak and Arabic spells, and Balinese spells or known as Puji Bali. Based on its purpose of implementation, Sasak verbal-spells are categorized into for healing purposes, Senggeger: a type of voodoo to attract the loved ones, Seasih-asih: to make one falls in love, supernatural power, and draining someone’s (physical) energy/power. Based on its function and practical usage, the Sasak verbal-spells have functions as healing/preventing diseases, to Seasih-asih purposes, to Senggeger/sencolet purposes, as a medium to ease childbirth processes, to counter other’s spells (sengkeles), and to counter possible dangers or destructions (sepenebeng/ajian kekebalan) and to drain someone’s energy.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to explain the causes of implication in the rubric Thengil in the Ancas magazine. The collection data use refer method n written method. The analyze data use heuristic method n pragmatic method. The research approach is using methodologic theory. The data has been analyzed then presented informally. Informal presentation data can be done by using words. The cause implication found in this study are violations of the principle of cooperation and the principle of harmony. Violation of the principle of cooperation includes violation of quantity thimble, violation of quality thimble, violation of thimble relevance, and violation of the way thimble. The violation principle of harmony includes violation of respectful thimbles, violation of humble thimbles, violation of place aware of thimbles, and violation of tolerant thimbles. The cause implication found can serve as support for funny humor.

Abstract

The research is aimed to investigate the type of diction and language style which used in political party banner advertisement in East Lombok. This research was descriptive qualitative to get some basic information about the diction and language style which used in banner advertisement political party in East Lombok. To collect the data, the researcher used documentation which includes book, newspaper, magazine, photo or picture in order to find out the source. The data were a photo of a political party banner advertisement in East Lombok. The data were analyzed by using textual analysis with particular criteria which concerned with analyzing the language element in the political party banner advertisement in East Lombok. Based on the analysis result there are some findings. The diction used political party banner advertisement in East Lombok were connotative and denotative. The language style used was alliterated, assonance, personification, and hyperbole. After all the hyperbole style was dominated.

Abstract

In language studies, there is a study of the use of language which is intended as an effort to guide conversation participants to be able to carry out cooperative conversations, namely pragmatic studies, especially in the part of the principle of cooperation. Grice divides four maxims which establish the principle of cooperation. The four maxims are the maxims of Quality, quantity, relationships, and ways. The object of the study in this analysis is the comedy Extravaganza program "Love in the Restaurant" which aired on Trans TV. From the results of the analysis using cooperative principles, conversational data were obtained which showed the existence of quality maxims (Maxime der Qualität) in 4 conversations, 3 conversations violating maxims and 1 not violating maxims. Whereas for the maximum quantity (Maxime der Quantität) there are 12 conversations, 2 of which violate maxims and 10 do not violate maxims. Furthermore, for the maximal relevance (Maxime der Relevanz) data obtained as many as 3 conversations and all are declared relevant / not violating the maxim. Whereas for the maximal means (Maxime der Modalität) there were 2 conversations, 1 conversation showed a violation of maxims and the remaining 1 did not show violations of maxims.
