Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the Tahfizh Qur’an Quarantine Program at the Inlight QuranicCenter, Baitul Quran Medan, and the Tahfidzul Quran Al-Fawwaz Medan Foundation.This type ofresearch is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The sources of information of this research are theTahfizh mudir (leaders), teachers, and tahfizh participants and some figures who know about the tahfizhquarantine program. Data collection techniques carried out through interviews, participant observation,and documents. Data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data presentation, and drawingconclusions / verification. The findings in this study are four, namely: (1) The implementation of theTahfizh Al-Qur’an Quarantine Program implemented by the Foundation of the National Tahfidz AlquranFoundation Inlight Quranic Center, Baitul Quran, and the Tahfidzul Quran Al-Fawwaz Medan Foundationis by (a) carrying out the preparation process, determining Tahfiz quarantine schedule provided generallythree times a year the implementation of the quarantine program, namely: Tahfizh Quarantine holidayprogram mid-semester, Tahfizh Quarantine Quarantine Program and, Tahfizh Quarantine QuarantineProgram at the end of semester program (b) The process of implementing the Tahfizh QuarantineProgram and (c) Output process or Tahfizh Quarantine Graduation Program (2) Supporting factors inthe Quarantine Quarantine Program at b. inlight Quranic center, Baitul Quran, and Tahfidzul QuranFoundation Al-Fawwaz medan, namely: Motivation in memorizing the Qur’an by targeting, strengtheninginterest / motivation, Time in implementing the Tahfizh of the Koran, supporting facilities and inscriptionsin the quarantine program and financing the quarantine Quarantine program (3 ) Obstacles in theQafiz Quarantine Quarantine Program at the Inlight Quranic Center, Baitul Quran, and the TahfidzulQuran Al-Fawwaz Foundation, Medan, namely that the participants of Tahfizh still need to enter theQur’an recitation program, the Tahfizh Quarantine Place which is not yet standard, the relatively expensiveaccommodation funding. (4) Efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors of the tahfizh quarantine programare by (a) conducting a tahfizh teacher regeneration program, (b) Organizing a Training for trainers foreducators in the tahfizh program (c) Motivating the participants of the quarantine.Keywords: Quarantine, Tahfizh, Qur’an

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the historical dynamics Madrasah Muallimin UNIVA Medansince 1958 to 2018. This research use historical research, which is conducted four steps; 1). heuristics, 2).criticism, 3). interpretation, and 4). historiography. The sample of this research was the headmaster ofmadrasah, teachers, alumni, and the references which is related to research. The result of this study waswritten in three chapters; chapter II: The background of the establishment of Madrasah Muallimin UNIVAMedan which is seen from 3 aspects; a) Intellectual background: the establishment of Madrasah Mualliminwas to prepare students of Universitas of Al Washliyah (UNIVA) Medan and to prepare religion teacher; b)Religious background; the : the establishment of Madrasah Muallimin is to prepare Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah’sfuture Ulama; c) Social background of Madrasah Mualimin caused by high public interest to continue theireducation to Aliyah and Higher Education levels while at that time Aliyah’s institutions were limited.Chapter III: Historical dynamic Madrasah viewed from 3 aspect, a) Curriculum: Madrasah MualliminUNIVA Medan implemented in two curricula namely Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah curriculum and Nationalcurriculum from the beginning until now; b) Educator: educators in Madrasah Muallimin are profesionaleducator both educators for diniyah lessons and general lessons educators with traditions Madrasah ofrecruited especially for diniyah lesson educators with a lifetime of service or as long as the educator is ableto educate at Madrasah Muallimin UNIVA Medan; c) Students: The students of madrasah Muallimincomes from various regions in Indonesia, especially North Sumatera and some them comes from Malaysiawith the number of studets constantly increasing. Chapter IV: The historical dynamcs of social relevanceof madrasah while maintainng the characteristics of the learning by traditional Islamic texts andmadrsah program innovations in the form of Tahfiz progrmas and Alquran clinical programs.Keyword: Dynamics, Historrycal and Madrasah

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine, 1) the existence of Al Quran learning in the NorthSumatra Islamic School, 2) the structure of the Al Quran learning curriculum in the Islamic School inNorth Sumatra. The approach used is a qualitative field (field research). Qualitative research is used todescribe words and actions to understand phenomena experienced by natural research objects or in thecontext of wholeness, in this research, the instrument is the learning of the Koran, so the type of researchused is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The findings of this study are 1) The ability of theNorth Sumatra Islamic Center Madrasah Aliyah in maintaining its existence both within the IslamicCenter North Sumatra Foundation and its surrounding environment can already be proven by themadrasa. 2) In the learning process, teachers who teach at the North Sumatra Islamic Center only usethe method they got from their previous tahfizhul Quran teachers without knowing the name of themethod. But it does not reduce the ability of teachers and the quality of students in teaching. 3) Teachingmaterials are only intended for class X students. 4) The strategy used by the North Sumatra IslamicCenter Madrasah Aliyah in maximizing the learning of Tahfiz Alquran, namely: Reducing the number ofstudents in the tahfizh class which initially numbered from 20 to 25 people. Changes in memorizationtime which were initially implemented in the morning and evening, are combined into the morningbefore formal study hours. A tahsin program was formed for new students. Do not classify studentsbased on their speed in memorization. 5) Evaluation is carried out several times a year, namely dailyevaluation, evaluation of the increase in the Quran, semester evaluation and annual evaluation.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out how the signs of the Qur’an against arithmetic operations in mathematicseducation, determine the urgency of arithmetic operations in the Qur’an against mathematics education,and see the relevance of arithmetic operations in the Qur’an to modern mathematics education. Themethod used in this study is qualitative in library research design, because all that wants to be investigated issourced from literature and in this study using maudhu’s interpretation. The results of the study of arithmeticoperations in the Qur’anic cues to Mathematics Education are: first, the Qur’an implies arithmetic operationsin mathematics education implicitly wherein the sum by stating the results and in subtraction, multiplicationand division only shows the part of the arithmetic operations, the existence of arithmetic operations in theQur’an as a means of human thinking in order to think mathematically. Second, the urgency of arithmeticoperations in the Qur’an for mathematics education is stated that arithmetic operations in the Qur’an arevery important for mathematics education as a means of thinking, cues for the need for innovation in learning,justification of mathematical principles, erasing thought of dichotomy in science, and as a cue forlearning mathematics. Third, the relevance of arithmetic operations in the Qur’an to modern mathematicseducation is in line with the spirit of Islamic integration in science and learning carried out by Islamic educationin this modern era. Qur’anic arithmetic operations can be material in integrated mathematics learning.The existence of arithmetic operations in the Qur’an for mathematics education is also very related in learningthe 2013 curriculum which emphasizes the scientific approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe: (1) Islamic Education learning results ofstudents who are taught to use concept maps different learning strategies with learning outcomes ofstudents who were taught using expository learning strategies, (2) The results of studying history istaught in Islamic Education learning strategy map concept is higher than in the Islamic Educationlearning outcomes of students who are taught with the expository teaching strategies for students whohave a style of thinking skuensial, (3) the Islamic Education learning that are taught with the learningstrategy map concept is higher than the results of learning Islamic Education who taught studentswith expository teaching strategies for students who have a random thought style, and (4) the interactionbetween learning strategies and thinking styles on learning outcomes of the Islamic Education.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out how the level of participation of post-graduate students indoctoral programs in completing their studies. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptiveapproach. The source of information for this study is the Islamic Education Study Program Doctoralstudents from 2015 to 2018, the head of the Islamic Education Study Program, the Lecturer ofthe PEDI Study Program, and other Pascasarjan Staff. Data collection techniques are carried outby reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions/verifications. The findings in this studyinclude: (1) The level of student participation in the Postgraduate Program of the Islamic Universityof North Sumatra in the Level of Education of the Doctoral Program, especially in the PEDI StudyProgram, experienced a cycle of ups and downs from 2016 to 2018. In 2016 there were 7 studentsenrolled as students, then in 2017 it dropped to 4, then also in 2018, it rose to 7 people. (2) Thedriving factor for women to continue their education to the doctoral level is from the factors thatexist from each person because of their needs and hobbies and high desires (3) The factors thatinfluence the female students in completing the study process are the high interest in boasting thefamily and the motivation to be better. (4) The factors that become a barrier for students in completingtheir studies are financial, family support and their status. (5) The way students face abarrier in the process of completing their studies is to strengthen the determination and confidencethat all of them can be overcome with good intentions.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kecemasan yang dialami siswa ketika menghadapi pelajaran tertentu dapat timbul bukanhanya disebabkan oleh beban yang dirasa bisa mengancam, tetapi juga dikarenakan bagaimanapersepsi siswa terhadap kemampuannya untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan tersebut yangmerupakanself-efficacy. Peran guru pembimbing sangat penting, karena kebutuhan mereka harusdipenuhi, seperti kebutuhan akan perhatian, bimbingan dalam menghadapi permasalahan belajarnyasehingga lebih mampu dalam meningkatkan aktualisasi diri dalam aktivitas belajarnya. Apabila keadaanini tidak diberikan perhatian dan bimbingan maka bisa memberikan dampak pada diri siswa untukmelakukan tindakan yang kurang baik seperti suka bolos dari sekolah, berkelahi dengan teman dansebagainya. Agar siswa dapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan mampu mengarahkannya menjadiindividu yang berkembang secara optimal maka dibutuhkan suatu bantuan seperti diberikannyabimbingan dan konseling di sekolah terutama dengan pembinaan belajar dengan memberikan layananpenguasaan konten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana program bimbingan dankonseling yang dilaksanakan, bagaimana implementasi layanan penguasaan konten dalam pembinaanself efficacy, bagaimana peran implementasi layanan penguasaan konten dalam peningkatan selfefficacy, apa hambatan dan bagaimana upaya mengatasi implementasi layanan penguasaan kontendalam peningkatan self efficacy siswa kelas I MAN 1 Medan. Penilitian ini menggunakan metodekualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yang dilakukanadalah dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan caramereduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Teknik penjamin keabsahandata dengan cara kredibilitas, transferabilitas, defendabilitas dan konfirmabilitas.Kata kunci: Layanan Penguasaan Konten, Self Efficacy

Abstract

Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis:1) Bagaimana penafsiran Alquran pada kisahAshâbul Kahfi menurut para mufassir. 2) Apa saja nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung padakisah Ashâbul Kahfi dalam Alquran, dan 3) Apa relevansi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terdapatpada kisah Ashâbul Kahfi dengan kondisi masyarakat modern saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan tafsir Tahlili, yang menggunakan sumber primernyaialah Alquran. Di antara buku tafsir yang digunakan ialah tafsir Ibnu Kacîr karya Ibnu Kacîr dantafsir Jalâlain karya Jalaluddian Al-Mahalli dan Jalaluddin As-Ashuyuthi Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa: 1) Penjelasan nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam kisah AshâbulKahfi dalam Alquran, ialah: Keyakinan tanda-tanda kekuasaan Allah swt. yang telah mengutus parapemuda didalam gua, keyakinan pada perlindungan yang Allah swt berikan kepada hambanya, dankeyakinan terhadap janji Allah mengenai hari kiamat dan hari kebangkitan, berikhtiar dan bertawakkalkepada Allah swt, 2) Terdapat tiga belas nilai pendidikan Islam dalam kisah Ashâbul Kahfi dalamAlquran, ialah: Nilai aqidah, tawadhu, tasamuh (toleransi), ikhtiar, tawakkal, istiqomah, siddiq,zuhud, tafakkur (berpikir), taqwa, wira’i (berhati-hati), i’tsar (mengutamakan kepentingan oranglain, dan muhâsabatun nafsi (intropeksi diri). 3) relevansi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam kisahAshâbul Kahfi yang terjadi pada kondisi masyarakat saat kini yaitu penurunan terhadap ketakwaankepada Allah swt dan moral terhadap sesama manusia, rasa kegoisan yang tinggi, mudah dalamberkata dusta, selalu merasa bangga diri tanpa memikirkan orang lain, rasa malas dalam prosesuntuk mencari ilmu pengetahuan dan hubbud dunyâ. Kondisi tersebut direlevansikan kepada nilainilaipendidikan Islam dalam kisah Ashâbul Kahfi dalam Alquran bahwa dengan nilai-nilai pendidikanIslam dalam kisah Ashâbul Kahfi ini dapat merubah kondisi ketakwaan terhadap Allah swt danmoral manusia menjadi lebih baik yang berpedoman pada Alquran dan Hadis.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine, 1) the implementation of group guidance inovercoming student learning difficulties at MAN Dairi, 2) supporting and inhibiting factors in implementinggroup guidance in overcoming student learning difficulties at MAN Dairi, 3) the effectiveness ofgroup guidance in overcoming student learning difficulties at MAN Dairi. The approach used is descriptivequalitative data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The findingsof this study are 1) The implementation of group guidance at MAN Dairi in overcoming students‘learning difficulties is carried out by creating categories for students who have problems and studentswho have achievements. So that in the community or group it will be clearly seen how to approachstudents who do have problems and need solutions, or students who do need more motivation todevelop their potential towards better, 2) As for the supporting factors in the implementation of guidancegroups in overcoming student learning difficulties are: a) sufficient number of BK teacher personnel andclear division of tasks, b) Good coordination between BK teachers, homeroom teachers, MadrasahHead Assistants (PKM/WKM), Madrasah Principals and parents of students, c) Resolving problemsquickly. Meanwhile the inhibiting factors in the implementation of group guidance in overcoming studentlearning difficulties are: a) Internal factors (originating from within the students themselves), b)Student‘s residence is relatively far from school, c) Muslim minority environment, and 3) while theeffectiveness of implementing group guidance in overcoming student learning difficulties has a verysignificant impact especially in terms of reducing or solving their problems. Besides, the group guidanceprogram also functions in developing students’ potential towards becoming even better.Keywords: Implementation, Group guidance, Students dificulty

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) an understanding of literacy culture, (2) the application of literacy culture and (3) supporting and inhibiting factors of the application of literacy culture in Madrasa Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency. Methodologically this research is a qualitative study by seeking, analyzing and making interpretations of data found through document studies, interviews and observations. The data that has been collected is checked for validity through data validity standards in the form of trustworthiness. Data analysis technique is to reduce, present and make conclusions on the results of research. The results of this study are three, namely: First, residents of Madrasa Aliyah Negeri throughout Langkat Regency understand that literacy culture is not just a culture of reading and writing, but also a culture of observing phenomena that develop in society. They see the activities of membaxca, writing and observing the reality that develops in society as an inseparable whole. Second, the strategies of residents of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Langkat District in implementing the GLS program include: a) Providing good library facilities; b) Updating the library book collection; c) Require students to borrow 1 book every week; d) Organization of writing competitions; e) Making wall magazines in each subject; and f) Parents of students participate in providing book facilities for students. Third, supporting factors for the implementation of the GLS program at MAN 1 Langkat include: awareness of school residents regarding the importance of literacy culture; adequate physical facilities such as a library, up to date book collection, reading corner etc. ; active participation of madrasa residents; Madrasah budget allocation for the procurement of supporting facilities; the number of posters, bulletin boards, slogans supporting literacy culture in the school environment; many literacy culture activities or events, such as competitions, book donations etc. and the participation of parents or guardians of students. While the inhibiting factors include: there is no specific time for reading books in the classroom; library location which is not ideal yet; not all teachers can accompany students when reading time activities and not all teachers have a good literacy culture.Keywor d:  Appl i c at i on,  Cul t ur e and Madr as ah
