Abstract

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is the busiest airport in Indonesia, in 2018 Soekarno-Hatta Airport was ranked the 17th busiest airport in the world with 462,071 aircraft movements per year, during peak hours Soekarno-Hatta International Airport served 100 aircraft movements per hour, the flight growth rate at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is 7% per year (Rosalinda Avelina, 2018). According to (Tengku Annisa, 2016) the estimated peak hour obtained for 2020 is 148 movements, while in simulation calculations using the time-space analysis method the movements that can be served are 124 movements per hour. So it is known that there is a delayed of 24 movements. Based on the, the land on the south side of runway 06/24 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport can be made a rapid exit taxiway in the Middle 6 area. Therefore, the author plans a rapid exit taxiway by forecasting aircraft movements for 10 years The future uses the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) method to serve delayed aircraft movements and reduce the waiting time for queues to enter the runway, so that the queue time to enter the runway is faster and reduces traffic congestion on the runway.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction of research center services and community service. In the current era of openness, the Community Satisfaction Survey helps with two-way communication between service users. Through SKM, service users can directly convey expectations and inputs aimed at improving the optimal quality of service. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative type using a likert scale. This study aims to measure the level of satisfaction of research center services and community service through research questions on google forms on lecturers and tested for validity and reliability in their research instruments. The implementation of lecturer services by the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic, especially PusPPM services in 2020 generally reflects a good level of quality, with an IKM value of 3.35 or after being converted to 83.75 for research and for PKM the IKM value is 3.17 or after being converted to 79.25. The IKM value for SKM research is at an interval of 81.26 – 100 so it can be concluded that the quality of service is Very Good (A). While the IKM value for SKM PKM is at an interval of 62.51 - 81.25 so that it can be concluded that the quality of service is Good (B).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze systemm control of wild animals and the process of solving problems of controlling wild animals at Taufik Kiemas Airport, Pesisir Barat, Lampung Province based on public perception. This research was conducted at Taufik Kiemas Pesisir Barat Airport, Lampung Province in August 2022. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. This study uses one data source, namely primary data sources obtained through surveys. The sampling method is purposive sampling. In this study there were 19 people who became the research sample. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis which attempted to describe the nature of the problems studied which were carried out in the field at the time of data collection. The results showed that the presence of wild animals such asbobcats, monkeys, wild boars, monitor lizards, snakes, various birds, monkeys and othersin Banfrom Taufik Kiemas Airport, West Coast of Lampung Province. Therefore it is necessary to create a special unit that handles the presence of wild animals at the airport and regulations are needed that are understood by all employees. In an emergency caused by wild animals, officers must understand how to mitigate the risk, so training and socialization are needed in understanding the presence of wild animals at airports.

Abstract

In the Air Navigation Technology study program at Aviation Polytechnic of Makassar, there is a Security Observation Equipment course. This course studies airport security equipment to support aviation safety and security with one of the equipment that will be taught is CCTV. Aviation Polytechnic of Makassar plans to make a CCTV trainer to facilitate learning about CCTV and its installation in the Security Observation Equipment course. In this research, the first step to be carried out is to design a CCTV trainer that will be used in the course practicum. Furthermore, the second stage is the stage of assembling the CCTV trainer. After the CCTV installation is complete, the next step is to test the system to find out the system is running as it should. From this research, the authors were able to design a CCTV trainer using several types of CCTV, NVR, and Switch to be displayed on the monitor. In addition, with this research, the knowledge and abilities of the cadets of the Air Navigation Engineering, Makassar Aviation Polytechnic in the Security Observation Equipment course, have increased from the previous 21.2% and 37.9% to 43.9% and 48.5% in the category very good.

Abstract

ICAO stipulates that English is the main language in communication between pilots and Air Traffic Controllers (ATC), so ATCs are required to have ICAO English Proficiency (IELP) skills at least level 4 (operational level) and are checked every three years, but found on during the checking test by the rater, several ATCs in Indonesia did not reach level 4 (operational level). This study explores ATC's perceptions of the IELP requirements and the accompanying matters. This study used a survey research method by distributing questionnaires, observing, and interviewing IELP Rater personnel. The result is that phraseology and simple language have different functions in the context of their usage situations. Simple English is used in emergencies or abnormal conditions. The most difficult testing component is grammar for Indonesian ATC, the supporting skills needed by ATC are writing and reading, the testing model face to face is still the priority, and the qualifications of Interlocutors, Raters are expected to be native speakers. ATC feels that the IELP test is difficult and requires pre-test preparation. ATC work uses English skills as basic capital, such as coordinating with pilots or adjacent units. The development of the IELP test model is more emphasized in the IELP pre-test training

Abstract

Tourism is one of the strategic sectors that drives the wheels of the economy with a large contribution. To strengthen tourism development, it needs to be supported by adequate transportation access. The aims of this study were 1) to analyze the tourism potential of the island and the potential for developing sea planes for tourist transportation on Tinabo Besar Island, 2) to explain the oceanographic and meteorological conditions that could support sea plane flights, and 3) analyzing the appropriate spatial dimensions for developing seaplane tourist transportation on Tinabo Besar Island, Takabonerate National Park, Selayar Islands district. Sources of data for this research come from BMKG documentation, BPS 2020-2021, and from the 2021 Takabonerate National Park Office as well as direct surveys at the research site and interviews with Banyuwa Management, Takabonerate Hall, and API Banyuwangi. This study uses descriptive, comparative and spatial analysis. The results showed that: 1) Tinabo Besar Island which has Takabonerate National Park has great potential for island tourism development, and is suitable for the development of seaplane-based tourism transportation 2) Oceanographic and Meteorological conditions of Tinabo Besar Island are feasible for seaplane-based tourist transportation, based on the results of BMKG data, and 3) the proper spatial dimension for developing seaplane tourism transportation on Tinabo Besar Island is the area of seaplane takeoff and landing operations plus the wide zone of utilization zone of Tinabo Besar Island, namely 5.06 km2 + 9, 73 km2 so that the total area is 14.79 km2. The spatial dimensions of Tinabo Besar Island are suitable for planning seaplane landing and take-off sites. However, for the wharves it is necessary to test the resilience if it is developed as a seaplane mooring area, and is equipped with several supporting equipment, such as fire extinguishers, safety equipment, lights, airbags, and improving the skills of the personnel on duty.
