SiPoSE : Studies in Philosophy of Science and Education is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on Philosophy of Science (POS) and Philosophy of Education (POE). The journal concerns in philosophical, theoretical, practical, psychological, and conceptual issues in science education and education in general. The SiPoSE is published three times a year in April, August, and December. The SiPoSE welcomes any research papers on Nature of Science (NOS), History of Science (HOS), Philosophy of Science (POS), and Philosophy of Education (POE) in any technical knowledge domain: original theoretical works, literature reviews, research reports, position papers, book review, and review articles. The articles should be original, unpublished and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to the SiPoSE. Check this video to know more about SiPoSE.

Abstract

The implementation of Physics learning must be contextual where during the learning process it is made by exploring the knowledge possessed and associated with its application in real life in the community environment of students. In learning physics students are required to be able to understand concepts, theories, principles, laws, and models and it is expected that through scientific processes they are able to have skills in developing knowledge during the learning process carried out. However, there are still many students who do not understand the linkages of contextual learning and only focus on understanding concepts according to the specified textbooks. The purpose of this research is to increase students' learning motivation by analyzing the relationship between physics concepts and the bom bom car game at Wisata Bahari Lamongan. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. Through observation, interviews, literature review and documentation is done as a data collection technique. It can be concluded that the bom–bom car game at Lamongan Marine Tourism has a connection with the concept of physics, namely the concept of Newton's Third Law, momentum, impulse, and collision.

Abstract

Research related to the application of concept mapping in physics learning is increasing and has become a trending topic for decades. This research purpose are (1) Analyze the research network and visualization concept mapping research in physics learning and contributions to learning physics (2) Analyze contribution of Indonesian Researchers on Concept mapping research (3) Analyze research recommendations related to concept mapping in physics learning. This bibliometric analysis using Scopus database in 2012-2023 period documents and analyze by VOSviewer. Visualization results with physics concept mapping be found in 6 clusters with the dominant items are mapping, students, and physics. The implementation of concept mapping in physics learning has many impact there are conceptual understanding, student performance, learning outcome, problem solving and physics misconception. Indonesia has contribute in physics concept mapping research with Universitas Negeri Manado being the most productive affiliations, Polukan c. being the most productive author and the most cited publication is “The effectiveness of Concept Mapping Content Representation Lesson Study (ComCoReLS) model to improve skills of Creating Physics Lesson Plan (CPLP) for pre-service physics teacher”. Based on network visualization the research recommendation about physics concept mapping are about concept mapping’s research in problem solving and misconceptions.

Abstract

Learning about electromagnetic induction in physics calls for a deeper comprehension of abstract ideas and ways of thinking. This article is part of a development research project on augmented reality-based learning materials focused on electromagnetic induction. Its goal is to assess the reliability and efficacy of augmented reality-based learning materials with a particular emphasis on the cognitive learning outcomes of students. The 4-D development model "Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate" is used in the study. (1) It is extremely practical to apply learning media based on augmented reality electromagnetic induction subject matter. (2) As a result of trials carried out based on the outcomes of a mean N gain of 0.76, the cognitive learning outcomes of students improved. The independent t-test findings revealed a significant relationship between the two variables, with a significant 2 tails of 0.000 (3). Student replies revealed that the learning medium are extremely practicable to use, with an average percentage value of 87%. Thus, it is advised to use augmented reality-based learning media for physics ideas that call for high levels of knowledge and abstract thought.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial skills, market orientation, and networking have a positive influence on entrepreneurial competence. Then entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial skills and networking have a positive influence on business performance. There is a significant influence of entrepreneurial competence in relation to entrepreneurial skills, marketing, networking and business workers. Entrepreneurship education in tourism is very important to improve the innovation skills of entrepreneurs in a dynamic environment. There is a positive impact of entrepreneurship education on business. Seeing the urgency of entrepreneurship education, therefore this article aims primarily to discuss the importance of entrepreneurship readiness in education. The reason why entrepreneurship education is included in the school curriculum and students should not be ruled by people or the government but they create jobs for themselves, this will also provide benefits for social and community welfare.

Abstract

This study is qualitative research which is framed as a case study. It is aim for analyzing the roles of Principal and Deputy Principals in strategic quality management at school. Data were collected through semi structured interviews, passive-participant observation, and study of documents. The document analysis and inductive method were used in analyzing the data. Results show that Principal and Deputy Principals play important roles in strategic quality management. Setting out a shared vision statement is crucial to build high commitment to reach the common goals. Setting out priorities and policies While effective team coordination brings good atmosphere to synergy and unity in the pursuit of common goals. Systematically checking of effectiveness through periodical monitoring and evaluation is for ensuring the process meet the quality standard. Transmitting the results of monitoring both to staff and to Principal- Top management is to bring better improvement. Keywords: School management, quality management, strategic quality management
