Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is making comparison between calculation of the potential for energy savings without and with taking into account the interdependency effect based on a case study in a conditioned high rise office building in Jakarta. Accurate estimation of the energy saving potential will increase the confidence level in bankable investment of energy saving projects. This will minimize the uncertainty of achievable energy savings which can prevent investment risks during implementing energy conservation and efficiency projects. The results of this study based on a study case, indicate that estimated energy savings of ESM-1 e.g. retrofit of lighting increase 4.29% when the interdependency effect is taking into account. ESM-2 e.g. installation of variable speed drive (VSD) on the air handling unit (AHU) shows the estimated energy saving increase 22.75% by taking into account interdependency effect. The effect of this interdependence both ESM-1 and ESM-2 is a reduction in cooling load in buildings. Totally, the calculation of the interdependency effect will increase the percentage of the total estimate of potential energy savings from 34.23% to 39.05% based on the energy baseline with a predefined baseyear periode, around 4.82% increased. The calculation of the interdependency effect will be very influential in minimizing uncertainty when the projects are financed by an energy performance contract mechanism whether a guaranteed or shared saving scheme. The measurement and verification energy saving during reporting period should be conducted in the future to compare the energy saving projection before ESMs implementation and measurement and verification results.

Abstract

This research was conducted in July-September 2018 on the track of the Ramma valley on Mount Bawakaraeng, Gowa Regency from July to September 2018. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Observation using transects made 20 plots measuring 2x2 meters. Species samples in the plot were taken and then photographed and identified. This study aims to determine the types and diversity of cover plants (herbs and shrubs) found in the Ramma Valley climbing route on Mount Bawakaraeng, Gowa Regency. The research found 24 species consisting of 19 herbs and 5 shrubs. The diversity index (H ') of herb plants is 2.451 which is moderate, for shrubs it is 1.379 which is low.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan logam berat Timbal (Pb) pada tanaman kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatca) di kawasan percetakan Kota Medan. Fitoremediasi salah satu metode remediasi dengan mengandalkan pada peranan tumbuhan untuk menyerap, mendegradasi, mentransformasi dan mengmobilisasi bahan pencemar logam berat dalam hal ini menggunakan tanaman kangkung air. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yaitu dengan mengambil sampel secara random , artinya tanaman kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica) diambil secara acak pada kawasan percetakan di Kota Medan. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan kadar Timbal (Pb) pada tanaman kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica) masih berada di bawah ambang batas yang ditentukan oleh Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Nomor 04/Permentan/Pp. 340/2/ 2015 Tentang Pengawasan Keamanan Pangan Terhadap Pemasukan Dan Pengeluaran Pangan Segar Asal Tumbuhan serta menurut SNI No.7387-2009, batas maksimum cemaran logam berat yang diperbolehkan dalam sayuran yakni batas ambang masimum 0,25 mg/kg untuk Timbal (Pb). Sehingga kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica) pada kawasan percetakan di Kota Medan masih aman untuk dikonsumsi masyarakat. Kadar Timbal (Pb) pada kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica) yang paling tinggi yaitu yang diperoleh dari Titik 1 yang berada di Jalan Masjid yakni 0,04497mg/kg sedangkan kadar Timbal (Pb) yang paling rendah yaitu di Titik 2 yang berada di Jalan Padang Bulan yakni 0,02273 mg/kg.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan di perguruan tinggi harus selaras dengan paradigma pembelajaran abad 21, dimana mahasiswa diharapkan aktif dan kreatif mengembangkan potensinya. Hakikat dan karakteristik pembelajaran abad 21 tercermin dalam pembelajaran sains yang mengacu 3 hal seperti proses, produk dan sikap dapat terlihat pada metode pembelajaran berbasis praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil praktikum selama masa pandemi Covid-19 yang dilakukan dengan daring dan selama luring yaitu sebelum adanya pandemi yang melanda indonesia bahkan dunia. Metode yang di gunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan metode komparasi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji independent sample t-Test dimana subjeknya merupakan peserta didik dengan kelas yang berbeda dengan diberikan dua perlakuan pembelajaran yang berbeda, yaitu luring dan daring.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktikum riil atau luring lebih baik dan efektif daripada praktikum dalam jaringan (daring).

Abstract

Ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) merupakan salah satu komoditas penting yang banyak didaratkan di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Tanjung Luar. Kebutuhan akan ikan tongkol di pasaran yang relatif tinggi dengan harga ekonomis menyebabkan tingginya intensitas penangkapan ikan oleh nelayan tanpa memperhatikan musim tangkap dan karakteristik layak tangkap, sehingga tidak sedikit ikan tongkol yang tertangkap pada saat matang gonad bahkan yang sedang melakukan pemijahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek reproduksi ikan tongkol yang terdiri dari tingkat kematangan gonad (TKG), indeks kematangan gonad (IKG) dan fekunditas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juni 2018. Total sampel yang diamati sebanyak 120 ekor ikan tongkol betina yang dikumpulkan dari PPI Tanjung Luar. Teknik penentuan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampel kuota. Pengamatan TKG dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan morfologis berdasarkan skala kematangan gonad, kemudian menghitung TKG atau Gonado Somatic Index (GSI). Perhitungan fekunditas yang dilakukan pada ikan tongkol sejumlah 36 sampel pada TKG V dan VI menggunakan metode gravimetrik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TKG ikan tongkol betina didominasi oleh TKG IV sebanyak 51,67%, kemudian diikuti TKG V (36,67%), TKG III (23,33%), TKG VI (8,33%) TKG II (8,33%) dan TKG I (6,62%). Dari persentase TKG tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ikan tongkol belum matang gonad (TKG IV). Nilai Gonado Somatic Index ikan tongkol betina berkisar antara 0,0116%-0,0258%. Fekunditas ikan tongkol betina berkisar antara 192.246-601.497 butir telur pada kisaran panjang cagak 415-640 mm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of the heavy metal lead (Pb) in water spinach (Ipomoea aquatca) in the printing area of Medan City. Phytoremediation is a remediation method that relies on the role of plants to absorb, degrade, transform and mobilize heavy metal pollutants, in this case using water spinach plants. This research is descriptive by taking samples randomly, meaning that water spinach plants (Ipomoea aquatica) were taken randomly from the printing area in Medan City. So that the water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) in the printing area in Medan is still safe for public consumption. The highest levels of Lead (Pb) in water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) are obtained from point 1 on Jalan Masjid Kesawan which is 0.04497mg / kg while the lowest levels of Lead (Pb) are at point 2 which is on Jalan Jamin Ginting Padang Bulan that is 0.02273 mg / kg.

Abstract

Abstract:. Learning held in tertiary institutions must be in line with the 21st century learning paradigm, where students are expected to be active and creative in developing their potential. The nature and characteristics of 21st century learning are reflected in science learning which refers to 3 things such as processes, products and attitudes which can be seen in practicum-based learning methods. This study aims to compare the results of practicum during the Covid-19 pandemic which was conducted online and during offline, namely before the pandemic that hit Indonesia and even the world. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with the comparison method. The analysis used in this study was the independent sample t-test where the subjects were students with different classes and were given two different learning treatments, namely offline and online. The results showed that the real or offline practicum was better and more effective than the internal practicum. network (online).

Abstract

The eastern little tuna is one of a pelagic fish that has an economic important value and mostly landed at Fish Base Landing (PPI) Tanjung Luar. The needs of eastern little tuna are very affordable and sold economically in the markets, which causes a highly catching intensity by the fishermen regardless the catching season, so that many eastern little tuna which caught when they were in gonads matured and spawn session. The purpose of this study was to describe reproduction aspects comprises of gonads maturity stages, gonadosomatic index and fecundity. This research was taken on May till June 2018 from Fish Base Landing in Tanjung Luar. The total samples observed were 120 female fishes which collected from the fish base landing. The sample determination technique in this study was quota sampling. Gonad maturity stages were observed by morphological observation then the gonadosomatic index were measured. Fecundity ware treated on 36 samples at V and VI stages (gonads matured) to be measured by using gravimetric method. The result of this study revealed that gonads maturity of the female eastern little tuna was dominated by the fourth stage (51,67%), and then followed by the fifth stage (36,67%), the third stage (23,33%), the sixth stage (8,33%) the second stage (8,33%) and the first stage (6,62%). From those gonad maturity percentages showed that the eastern little tuna was not in the gonads matured session. The value of gonadosomatic index for the female eastern little tuna were about 0,0116% up to 0,0258%. Meanwhile the fecundity range between 192.246 ova until 601.497 ova on fish with the length between 415 mm until 640 mm.
