Abstract

This research aims at developing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) textbook to fulfil the students’ need toward the material at vocational high school using Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT). It was conducted to investigate (1) the quality of the existing course book used in vocational high school, (2) the development of the ESP textbook using TBLT in vocational high school in Pacitan, East Java. The research design used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) proposed by Borg and Gall. This study was oriented to the product development in the form of procedural model and was conducted in two main phases namely (1) exploration phase and (2) product development phase. The exploration phase revealed: (1) the description of the existing course book used in vocational high school and (2) the need analysis of the ESP learning material. While the product development phase explained; (1) the description of the draft of ESP textbook, (2) the result of the trial of the draft, and (3) the final draft of ESP textbook. The data in the exploration stage were collected through conducting document analysis, and having interview. It was carried out to reveal the quality of existing course book used at vocational high school and the learner’s need toward material. The findings show that the course book used at the vocational high school students contains general English material and it is less specific to be used for the students of culinary skill program. Hence, the findings imply the ESP textbook was needed to be developed by considering the need of the teacher and the students. The ESP textbook was developed by considering some aspects. It contains theoretical theories of ESP and TBLT. Then, it was validated and reviewed by some experts on English language teaching and implemented in class. Through conducting observation, distributing questionnaire, and having focus group discussion that involved the researcher, the teacher, the expert and the students, the draft was revised to be the final draft of ESP textbook. Therefore, after going through the stages, it could be said that the draft is feasible to be applied as supplementary material to teach students of culinary skills program in vocational high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh industri jasa konstruksi dan faktor kompetensi paling dominan yang dibutuhkan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan skala likert yang ditujukan kepada pihak industri jasa konstruksi. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan analisis faktor eksploratori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan proses factoring bisa direduksi menjadi hanya tiga faktor. Dari faktor yang telah terbentuk dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi lulusan SMK TBB yang dibutuhkan industri jasa konstruksi di Jawa Timur terdiri dari faktor lapangan, faktor teknologi dan faktor pengetahuan.

Abstract

Human Problems Abuse Digital Image Data, Sender To Communicate That Sender Send Data To Recipient And want the data sent safe but in fact the data is susceptible to tapping on process of sending data so that it  not up to recipient of data and fall into the hands of unauthorized people so can be misused. The way to maintain data security and confidentiality is by encryption and decryption techniques. This study aims to explain the implementation of jpeg rgb and grayscale file format in Aes Rijndael 128 bit Algorithm Application for encryption and decryption of digital image files. This research type is research & development (R & D). In this research, testing is done, that is the application feasibility test which includes media expert has 98% feasibility percentage and material expert has a feasibility percentage of 86%, concluded this application is very feasible. Conclusion if the Key used numbers with different pixel size and image capacity and resulted in different running times. The larger the pixel value of the image the time required is also the time and duration between encryption and decryption can be longer or even faster. If the length of the key pixel size and the same size of the image, does not affect the long running time, while if the pixel size is the same but the bigger the image is smaller then the running time is faster

Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah mulai disesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, sehingga terjadi perubahan dan pergeseran paradigma pendidikan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas sudah menjadi suatu kebutuhan sekaligus tuntutan di era global ini. Guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran, perlu dikembangkan berbagai model pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. Hal ini perlu dilakukan agar proses pembelajaran tidak terkesan kurang menarik, monoton, dan membosankan sehingga akan menghambat terjadinya transfer of knowledge. Dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi, maka dibuat aplikasi Media Pembelajaran Ekosistem berbasis Adobe Flash CS6. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui media pembelajaran berbasis Adobe Flash CS6 yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa dan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa setelah memanfaatkan media pembelajaran tersebut.Model penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE Hasil dari validasi para ahli menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ekosistem berbasis Adobe Flash CS6 ini layak di gunakan dengan memperoleh persentase 94% dari ahli media, 98% dari ahli materi, dan uji lapangan yang dilakukan di SMA Yayasan Pandaan memperoleh hasil yang positif yaitu dengan persentase 81% yang artinya masuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak untuk digunakan

Abstract

This research aims to study the influence of board composition (BOC, BOD and AC) to the Firm Size on the manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. At 2015. Data source use secondary data which is accesed through Indonesia Stock Exchange, with sampling of 54 manufacturing companies in various sectors and sub sectors. With linear regression analysis, got reslut R-square 0,478, meaning between independent variable and dependent variable have (not significant) correlation equal to 47,8%. As an advanced analysis to further deepen the company’s position on board composition and firm size is used cluster analysis. As a result companies with high Firm Size are directly proportional to the large number of BOC and BOD, and enough with a moderate comiitee audit.
