Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance in the drawing-cutting section of PT Alam Lestari Unggul – Factory Cikupa Tangerang, both individually and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods and applies saturated sampling techniques involving 70 respondents. Data analysis involves validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that work motivation has a significant influence on employee performance, and work discipline also has a significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneously, both work motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance. Data analysis shows that the independent variable and the dependent variable have a very strong relationship with a correlation coefficient value of 0.924. In addition, around 85.4% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by work motivation and discipline, while the remainder, around 14.6%, is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing produces a significant F value. Thus, there is a significant influence between work motivation and work discipline on employee performance in the Drawing Cutting section of PT Alam Lestari Unggul – Factory Cikupa Tangerang.

Abstract

Fire is still a severe problem that has been difficult to overcome from the past until now. The fire trigger is due to electrical short circuits and electrical equipment experiencing electrical short circuits as well as gas leaks. However, with very rapid and massive advances in technology, humans today can create tools to anticipate the danger of fire early. This research aims to develop a fire alarm system to detect fire, smoke and gas. The system will use a combination of fire, smoke and gas sensors to detect the presence of these dangers. In the event of a fire or gas leak, the system will hide the alarm. The system will be designed to be easy to install and use. This device will detect Internet of Things (IoT) based fires, which can connect to a WiFi network and send messages via WhatsApp. This device uses Arduino UNO, MQ2 sensor, Flamer sensor, and WhatsApp as message recipients. The research method used is direct observation of the selected objects, namely in the author's home environment and conducting literature studies related to the Arduino Uno microcontroller. This research aims to create a system that will help increase security against fire hazards and reduce the risk of material damage, such as property and physical injury.

Abstract

The purpose of writing is to determine how to implement village financial management according to Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 20 of 2018 (Case Study: Pesarean Village, Adiwerna District, Tegal Regency). Data collection used was direct observation and interviews with the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Treasurer and BPD. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, with data sources obtained from secondary data by conducting observations in Pesarean village, Adiwerna subdistrict, Tegal district. The research results show that overall, the implementation of village financial management in Pesarean Village is by PERMENDAGRI No. 20 of 2018, which consists of planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability. The Pasadena Village Government, in its implementation in addition to complying with PERMENDAGRI No. 20 of 2018, has also digitized the implementation of village financial management, namely through the SISKEUDES application, which makes it easier for village governments to compile village finances. However, several regulations still need to be implemented, namely in the planning and reporting process. In the planning process, namely in article 32, paragraph 3. Along with the policy output of the Pesarean Village Regent's Regulation regarding the Draft Village Regulation on APB Des, it was mutually agreed upon in February. This caused a delay in preparing the APBDes draft. Even though it is known in the regulations that the Draft Village Regulations regarding the Village APB, as referred to in paragraph (2), are mutually agreed upon by October of the current year. The regulations in Article 38, Paragraph 2 concerning Village Regulations regarding Village APB, as referred to in paragraph (1), are stipulated by December 31 of the previous fiscal year. However, in Pesarean Village, there was a delay in enacting Village Regulations due to the policy output that came into effect in February. There are reporting processes not by PERMENDAGRI No. 20 of 2018, namely in article 69, where the Pasadena Village, in submitting the report, experienced a delay in submitting the final report in December. In contrast, according to the regulations, the Regent/Mayor submitted a consolidated report on the implementation of the Village APB to the Minister through the Director General of Village Government Development by the second week of August 2018.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of the work environment and work motivation on employee performance at PT Gemilang Nusantara Insani, South Tangerang. An associative research method with a quantitative approach was employed. The study included a population of 60 respondents. The analysis involved validity tests, reliability tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, simple linear regression tests, multiple linear regression tests, correlation coefficients, coefficient of determination, T-tests, and F-tests. The results of partial hypothesis testing revealed that the work environment variable had a positive effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 5.385, and a significance value of 0.000. Similarly, the work motivation variable had a significant impact on employee performance, with a t-value of 5.704 and a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneous hypothesis testing indicated that the work environment and work motivation, taken together, significantly influenced employee performance, as the calculated F-value (20.916) was greater than the F-table value (3.16), with a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R square) was 0.423, suggesting that the combined influence of the work environment and work motivation accounted for 42.3% of the variance in employee performance. The remaining 57.7% was influenced by factors not examined in this study. In conclusion, both the work environment and work motivation have a significant and positive impact on employee performance at PT Gemilang Nusantara Insani, South Tangerang.

Abstract

Reality can be said to be a social construction created by individuals. The mass media, as part of the individual, has a task based on the nature and fact of narrating events, so that all media content is nothing but constructed reality. News making in the media is basically the arrangement of realities to form a meaningful story or discourse. This scientific study presents an analysis in understanding the construction of reality by the mass media based on several theories from previous scientific studies. In this study, it is found that the message that is conveyed by the mass media is nothing more than a reality that has been constructed. The construction of messages in the mass media begins with the existence of facts or realities in society. These realities or facts can be objects, people, circumstances, events, ideas or behavior. These facts are then processed through a process called reality construction. This is the process of compiling data and facts into a meaningful story that can take the form of news.

Abstract

Thermal effects arise due to winding transformers operating for medium or large power above 1 kVA. When this transformer is used continuously and heat effects continue to arise, it can lead to reduced power efficiency and increased distortion and a high possibility of failure in the transformer. By designing an additional cooling system, namely regulating fan rotation using the PID method using a thermocouple sensor, it can respond to optimal variations to move the fan at a certain rotation according to the heat level produced by the transformer operation with a maximum delay time of 3 minutes 20 seconds. Besides that, the temperature display and settings can be monitored using wireless communication, for ease of operation of the transformer.

Abstract

Based on the results of the research conducted, there were problems found that when the process of checking the depth and turbidity of water quality was still using a manual system that involved the role of employees in carrying out the checking process using a opacimeter and level transmitter. Therefore, researchers provide input and suggestions for the process of checking the depth and turbidity of Water using sensors to get the results of checking and an Internet of Things based system to monitor the results of the sensors used. Then the results of the process can be monitored directly into the website platform. In this research, the writer uses fuzzy logic method to program the hardware and monitoring results use a website with codeigneter framework. Which aims to build a monitoring system for checking the depth and turbidity of water quality automatically using ultrasonic sensors and turbidity sensors.
