Abstract

Social Media nowadays become alternative media to run function of Marketing Public Relations. PT KemuningMulia Jaya has been participating in the service of teeth health care and mouth care used social media to promote its product brand of Klinik Gigiku Sehat. PT Kemuning Mulia Jaya has been established since 2010.This company was pioneered by Drg. Susan Widijaningsih with Deddy Andu Edgar Frederik as the owner of PT Kemuning Mulia Jaya. Marketing Public Relations of this company has created Promotion Program of March 2019 to attract customer attention. Data collection technique of this research consist of observation, interviews, study literature, and documentation. The analysis method that author used is qualitative descriptive approached. The result of the research has shown the use of social media by Klinik Gigiku Sehat effectively can communicate to the public became easier. The conclusion of the promotion programme for March 2019 consist of Voucher Promotion, and Dental Education through social media. To maintain a good relationship with public, Marketing Public Relations of Klinik Gigiku Sehat has worked periodically uploaded useful infographic to the public through social media. Strategy of Marketing Public Relations that they chose is Pull Strategy. Public Relations pattern that they applied to promote Klinik Gigiku Sehat only formula P for Publication, E for Event, I for Inform or Image and L for Lobbying.

Abstract

Video music is one of the mass communication tools that has a major influence in the process of conveying messages to the public. One of the video clips that raises messages or values for the community is the video clip of the world song deception, and represents a message and implied meaning. This study aims to find out how the family is represented in the Dunia Tipu-Tipu music video. The research method uses qualitative research methods with qualitative descriptive types, data collection techniques using literature study. Data analysis using Roland Barthes semiotic analysis. The results of the research show that there is a denotative meaning, which is a sign contained in the sign, besides that there is a connotative meaning from the scenes of the Dunia Tipu-Tipu music video, and the representation contained in this music video is that there is a family relationship that requires deep conversation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of learning motivation and learning style on learning achievement in 4th semester students of Bina Sarana Informatika University. The method used is multiple linear regression and the analysis is done using SPSS software. From the results of the analysis, a regression model was obtained with a coefficient of determination of 0.75 which indicates that the learning motivation and learning style variables together can explain 75% of the learning achievement variables. The results of the F significance test show that the overall regression model is significant, and the results of the regression coefficient significance test show that both variables have a significant influence on learning achievement. Thus, the results of this study can provide useful information for teachers and policy makers to improve student achievement through increasing learning motivation and paying attention to student learning styles.

Abstract

At this time the Indonesian people already have quite complex needs. Due to the limited time each individual prefers food that is practical and easy to carry everywhere, one of the choices for snacks that is often chosen is chocolate. The aim of this study was to examine the analysis of brand awareness among university students regarding silverqueen brand chocolate products. This type of research conducted descriptive method using primary and secondary data. From the results of the research, information was obtained that the silverqueen chocolate brand is the most widely known, popular and top of mind among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the literature on intercultural communication that occurs between staff and customers with different cultural backgrounds at Citibank. This study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, by collecting data from related journals and articles that discuss intercultural communication in the banking sector. The results of this study will provide an overview of the factors that influence intercultural communication at Citibank, as well as strategies that can be implemented by Citibank staff in improving the quality of communication with customers from different cultural backgrounds

Abstract

One of the storage places for these valuables is a storage cupboard. Storage cabinets are used for valuables by using various safeguards such as keys, padlocks, or passwords to open them. However, as time goes by, the safeguards used in storage cabinets are no longer efficient and easily guessed by irresponsible people who have the intention to open them. For this reason, a new security method is needed that can be applied to storage cabinets to better protect valuable items stored in storage cabinets from irresponsible people who have the intention to open them. Along with the development of automation technology, especially those that can be applied to storage cabinets, namely by using fingerprints as an introduction to the security of these storage cabinets. So that only recognized fingerprints can unlock a storage cabinet, because for now fingerprints are rather difficult to fake and also fingerprints have different characteristics for each person. By designing an IoT-based tool and relying on a microcontroller as the processor of this security system that can make the storage cabinet safer with 2 stages of security, namely by recognizing the fingerprint that is authorized to open the storage cabinet, and will provide notification via email if the one who opens it the safe is identified as not the authorized fingerprint owner.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the activities of opening teaching carried out by English teachers to motivate students in class VII of SMP Negeri 10 Padang. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, recording and recording. Based on the results of research and discussion of activities for opening teaching by English teacher to motivate students in class, it can be concluded that the skills of English teachers in grades VII at SMP Negeri 10 Padang in opening lessons include: (a) arousing students' attention, namely variations in teaching styles, use of instructional media and patterns of interaction (b) generate student motivation, namely excited and enthusiasm, generate curiosity, and generate conflicting ideas (c) provide references, namely convey learning objectives and determine activity steps (d) demonstrate linkages, namely determining stepping stones, generating new knowledge, providing continuous material. Related to all of these indicators, the researcher found that the activities for opening teaching by English teacher have been implemented although not all indicators and the results of the researcher found that the teacher motivated student learning for opening teaching activities by creating an active learning process such as making eye contact, providing discussion with question then students answer according to their knowledge, teacher character such as friendly, and explain the material with clear intonation.

Abstract

This research is to find out that the microstrip antenna is one of the most widely applied antennas for various radio applications because of its low profile and high performance. This paper discusses design and simulation of the rectangular patch microstrip antenna (RPMA) for S-band radio by using inset feeding. Initially, theoretical calculation was performed, followed by performance evaluation by using AWR simulator. Inset deep iterations were conducted through repeated simulation adjustment to obtain optimal design. Based on the concluded simulation adjustment, the minimum achieved VSWR is 1.056 to get bandwidth of 104.5 MHz (3.1636 3.2681 GHz). The minimum return loss that can be achieved is -31.33 dB with gain of 5.777 dB.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the business continuity of PT. Eastparc Hotel Tbk, PT. Bukit Uluwatu Village Tbk and PT. Hotel Sahid International Tbk uses secondary data in the form of financial statements for 2019 – 2021. This study uses the Altman Z Score method which is one method for assessing the bankruptcy of a company. The covid 19 pandemic caused a significant decrease in performance at PT. Bukit Uluwatu Village Tbk Z. Z Score PT. Bukit Uluwatu Village Tbk in 2020 was -2,91, it decreased from 0,35 in 2019. Such conditions indicate that PT. Abstract

Efforts made by the management of PT Pegadaian Tigaraksa branch in terms of policy, especially the compensation variable X1 and work discipline X2, the performance of Y employees at the Tigaraksa branch pawnshop, Tangerang. Research). The data analysis technique used in this study used date instrument test analysis, multiple linear regression test, correlation test, determination test, t test and f test by testing compensation and work discipline variables on employee performance at the Tigaraksa branch of pawnshops, Tangerang. Results of the research distribution of 100 populations absorbed by statistical analysis, namely a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, the H1 decision is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at the Tigaraksa branch of pawnshops, Tangerang, obtained from a correlation coefficient value of 0.59, meaning quite strong, the coefficient of determinant between the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at the pawnshop branch of Tigaraksa Tangerang contributes 68% while the remaining 32% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. The multiple regression equation formed is significant between the variables of the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at the Tigaraksa branch pawnshop, Tangerang, of Y = 41,520 + 040 + 034, the significance value (sig) is 0.000 <0.05, so F count 2.24 > 3.44. then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning accepted, in the multiple regression equation test formed between the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at branch the Tigaraksa, Tangerang
