Abstract

The economy is one of the most important pillars in state activities, the wheels of the economy are run by various sectors and the MSME sector is a sector that has a major contribution to building the economy in Indonesia. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that entered Indonesia in early 2020 and spread rapidly to various regions and caused major disruptions to ongoing economic activities. One of the biggest impacts was felt by most MSMEs so they were forced to go out of business due to not being able to survive the difficult conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, researchers want to know the marketing strategy implemented by culinary tourism that has succeeded in maintaining the durability of its business during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research. This study uses 4 samples of MSMEs for culinary tourism in Malang, namely Depot Hok Lay Cwie Mie culinary tours, Mie Bakar Celaket culinary tours, Bakso President culinary tours and Seoulscents Korean Café culinary tours. The results of this study. The results of this study indicate that 4 MSMEs for culinary tourism in Malang City have their own ways of building and adjusting the 4P Mix Marketing marketing strategy in order to maintain the durability of their business during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and emotional intelligence on employee performance in the government of Central Tapanuli Regency. The number of samples in this study was 146. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire under the indicators of each variable used. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that motivation and emotional intelligence simultaneously has a significant effect on the performance of employees in the Government of Central Tapanuli Regency. The results of the t-test show that motivation and emotional intelligence significantly influence employee performance. The emotional intelligence factor has a more dominant influence on employee performance compared to motivation.

Abstract

Pecan is one of the spices that become an ingredient in the process of the food and cosmetic industry. The pecan separator machine is made to facilitate and speed up the process of breaking the pecan fruit in order to increase work efficiency in the hope that the machine can achieve high efficiency in the form of good fruit yields. The purpose of this pecan fruit separator machine is to help facilitate the community in processing pecan fruit to the maximum of its production, and the community can also increase the processing productivity of pecan fruit, which can improve the community's economy. The research method applied in this study is an experimental method, namely the initial stage of designing a double roll type pecan breaking machine using Auto CAD. Then build the machine in the workshop based on the design that has been done before. The stages passed are making design drawings in Auto CAD and analyzing the components used in the pecan breaking machine. Such components are the frame, inlet funnel, shaft, breaker roller, bearing and outlet funnel. From the results of the analysis, the motor power is 0.5 HP with a rotation of 1400 rpm. The belt length used from the calculation of the pulley size on the 3" machine and the pulley on the 10 breaking roll is 42". For breaking rollers the outer diameter of the roller = 120 mm, the inner diameter of the roller = 100 mm, and the length of the roller = 190 mm. The shaft on the drive motor is 24 mm in diameter. The shaft isestimated to be of S30C carbon steel with tensile strength = 48 kg/mm².

Abstract

Acne also known as acne vulgaris, is an inflammatory condition of the polysebaceous layer that is brought on by the buildup of keratin. Active oil glands under the skin cause acne. Androgen hormones function as a stimulant for this activity. Cloves are herbal plants that contain essential oil chemicals. The chemical composition of clove leaf oil is mainly composed of eugenol. Eugenol has pharmacological effects as antibacterial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Nanoemulsion is a nanocarrier that gets a lot of attention, because of its small particle size so that it can be thermodynamically stable and can increase drug penetration. Recent advances in nanoemulsion research have created new prospects in a number of industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food, and cosmetics. This research was conducted by formulating clove leaf oil into nanoemulgel preparations, followed by evaluation of the preparations and testing of antibacterial activity against acne-causing bacteria. The result of the nanoemulgel formulation is yellow, smells of clove leaf oil, is transparent and homogeneous. Nanoemulgel viscosity 3434-3109 M.Pas, pH 6.15-6.41 and particle size 12.3-13.3 nm. Physical studies of nanoemulgel been carried out for three cycles and there is no change in color, change in odor and phase separation. The results of the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus epidermidis at NEG1 12.03 mm, NEG2 16.93 mm, NEG3 18.96 mm and EG 18.03 mm. The results of the antibacterial activity of Propionibacterium acnes at NEG1 11.50 mm, NEG2 16.16 mm, NEG3 18.03 mm and EG 17.33 mm. The results of the study concluded that clove leaf oil nanoemulgel with a concentration of 7% was the best formula, because it is stable during storage and has the greatest antibacterial activity compared to emulgel.

Abstract

Corona virus is a zoonosis (transmitted between animals and humans). Based on scientific evidence, COVID-19 can be transmitted from human to human through coughing/sneezing droplets (droplets). 19 including those treating COVID-19 patients. The purpose of the results of the study was to find out the people of Kalumata to prevent the transmission of covid. The type of research used in this study is quantitative with a Cross Sectional Study design which is one of the observational studies to determine the characteristics of the Kalumata community empowerment to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Where the research is a Cross Sectional Study, researchers look for characteristics between the independent variable (covid 19 empowerment) and the dependent variable (prevention of transmission) by taking instantaneous measurements. Characteristics of the empowerment of the Kalumata community in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 in the city of South Ternate. The population in this study was the entire number of people who received treatment for COVID-19 patients who carried out examinations at the Kalumata Health Center, South Ternate City, as many as 95 positive COVID-19 patients. The results of the analysis showed that the level of knowledge (62.2%). Compared to the attitude variable (81.8%), compared to the social media variable (94.7%) people know about it compared to Covid sufferers (84.2%). Compared with not suffering that is (15,8%). The conclusion is that it can be suggested because the covid 19 disease is a health problem that occurs without our knowledge, therefore to prevent the transmission of covid 19 to us, it is necessary to have early prevention by preventing various causative factors that trigger triggers that can be controlled, such as public knowledge there is still not enough information about covid 19 so that it can spread to other people.

Abstract

Temu Hitam (Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb) is one of the most widely grown plants in Indonesia at an altitude of 400–750 m asl and contains many secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, tannins, and curcuminoids, which in the test had antibacterial activity and growth inhibitors. worm larvae in the gastrointestinal tract and the effect of increasing the body's immunity The purpose of this study was to identify the content of secondary metabolites contained in the rhizome of black turmeric, which would then be formulated into gel hand sanitizer preparations. Secondary metabolite testing was conducted on alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids/triterpenoids, and glycosides. Three different hand sanitizer gel formulations were created using different extract concentrations, 5%, 10%, and 15%. Evaluation tests were then run on the preparations, including stability, organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, and dispersion tests. Alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids were found in the temu hitam rhizome, according to the results of secondary metabolite testing. The dosage form was semi-solid, had a light brown to blackish brown hue, a distinct spice scent, was homogeneously prepared, and had a pH of 7.0, according to the examination of the formulation results 4,1 ± 0,17; 4,4 ± 0,19; 4,9 ± 0,08; 4,9 ± 0,09, viscosity 2378 ± 209,9; 3340 ± 220,7; 4509 ± 285,6; 4881 ± 276,7; and spreadability test 5; 6,2; 5,4; 4,9 cm . The conclusion of this study is that the results of the phytochemical screening of simplicia and the ethanolic extract of the Temu Hitam rhizome showed positive results, containing secondary metabolites of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, glycosides, and steroids/triterpenoids that can be formulated into hand sanitizer gel preparations that meet the requirements for preparation evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the index of plankton diversity in the Aek Rao River, Gunung Tua. The research was carried out from April to May 2022 in the Aek Rao River, Gunung Tua. The sampling method used purposive random sampling which consisted of 3 observation stations, namely station 1 upstream, station 2 for residential areas and station 3 for densely populated areas. The results showed that the composition of plankton in the Aek Rao River, Gunung Tua consisted of 3 classes of phytoplankton, namely Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae and Cyanophyceae, while the zooplankton class consisted of 4 classes, namely Mastigophora, Monogononta, Crustacea and Ciliophora. The highest diversity index in phytoplankton was obtained at station 1 of the sand mining area with a value of 1, 39 which indicates that the level of diversity is in the medium category. In zooplankton the highest diversity index was found at station 3 with a value of 0.33 which indicated that the level of diversity was included in the low category. While the highest dominance index for phytoplankton was found at station 3 in densely populated areas with a value of 0.43 while zooplankton was found at station 1 in a sand mining area with a value of 0.00563, both values ​​indicated that there was no dominant plankton genus in that area.

Abstract

Investors need to do proper analysis before making a decision in investing. If the investor does not do the right analysis, the investor will experience significant losses. One of the analyzes used is CAPM, and for the next step the researcher evaluates the performance of the stock portfolio. This study aims to analyze the performance evaluation of stock portfolios during the covid 19 pandemic. The research objects were companies registered in IDX 30 during the period January 2020 to July 2022. The result of this study is the Treynor index is the most indicative of conformity without differences between the three measures, as Treynor. Its value is similar to Sharpe and the Jensen index has the smallest difference.

Abstract

The This research is driven by the problems in implementing character education at school which have not yet met the expectations. It is closely related to the management of strengthening character education which plays an important role but has not been implemented effectively. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach-case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) direct observations, and (3) documentation studies. In general, this study aims to identify and analyze the management of strengthening character education to produce the quality graduates. Specifically, it is also to find out and analyze: (1) the planning process, (2) implementation, (3) evaluation, (4) follow-ups, (5) problems, (6) solutions, and (7) results of strengthening character education related to the quality of graduates at Saint John's Catholic School and Insan Cendekia Madani High School, South Tangerang City, Banten.The theoretical foundation used is Total Quality Management (TQM). As an approach, TQM is expected to to raise the quality of graduates with strong characters and thus, increase the customer satisfaction, improved quality, and commitment. To improve the quality, the Deming Cycle or PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, and Act) method is used to ensure any deviation or failure to be detected and corrected quickly. Hence, the efforts to strengthen character education have an impact to the students, not only the cognitive aspect (moral knowing), but also the affective (moral feeling), and psychomotor (moral behavior). The results of this study indicate that: (1) The management planning for strengthening character education has referred to the vision, mission, goals, and values of the school. It is necessary to clarify the order of priority to solve the occuring problems. (2) The implementation of strengthening character education has been going well. However, school principals need to improve coordination with parents and the community, develop teacher professionalism and supervise consistently and continuously. (3) The evaluation has been carried out in accordance with the assessment steps. Aspects of strengthening character have been carried out well, i.e religious teachings and beliefs, which emphasizes on respecting diversity, and increasing student learning abilities. It is necessary to improve the aspects of moral values in compliance with social rules. (4) Follow-ups have been carried out based on the evaluation results to take corrective actions for standardisation purpose.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the other side of the management of the internal quality assurance system (IQAS) in improving the quality of university graduates. Quality improvement management based on university graduates is a new alternative in education management which emphasizes more on independence and creativity. The development of the quality assurance system management is designed to improve the community's ability to manage educational change in relation to the overall objectives, policies, planning strategies, curriculum initiatives that have been determined by the government and education authorities. Therefore, the output of education demands a change in the attitudes and behavior of all components that involve all people, both the community, in viewing, understanding, helping as well as observers who carry out monitoring and evaluation. This study uses a descriptive analysis method approach. A method approach that is used to analyze, describe and summarize various conditions, and situations from various data collected from observations regarding the problem under study during the research. The problem of the low quality of higher education is the reason for the government to provide a policy by presenting an internal quality assurance system (IQAS) in universities. The internal quality assurance system (IQAS) is managed independently by the university concerned. Then in the management of higher education quality is carried out on an ongoing basis. This study aims to analyze the role of the internal quality assurance system (IQAS) in improving the quality of higher education.
