Abstract

At this time Smartphones are not only owned by the upper class, but almost all groups. Because smartphones have many benefits, including as a learning medium for school children. The purpose of this research is to make a Microsoft Office teaching material application with the Android operating system. This application was created using Android Studio with the Java programming language. In this study the system design method used is the waterfall method. The results of this study are an android program in the form of Microsoft Office learning materials that will be used for students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdlatul Wathan Kalijaga Timur. Testing this application is reviewed based on several criteria, namely from the appearance of the application, the contents of the application material, and the benefits of the application to users.

Abstract

Current technological developments are so rapid and there are many human activities, encouraging people to think they can work effectively and efficiently. One way to make work easier is to make a mechanical device automatic. The use of a dispenser for filling water into a glass can be done automatically as a substitute for a dispenser for manually filling water. With the prototype method we can design or create an Automatic Dispenser tool using ultrasonic sensors and Arduino Uno. This tool uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller as its main controller, ultrasonic sensors as input and as a measuring device when the water is full or with a specified limit, a relay as an introduction to power to the water pump which will drain water from the gallon to the measuring cup provided. From the results of the design, it makes it easy for the user because it has been automated in terms of filling and then a predetermined amount of water.

Abstract

The use of information technology can support business people in supporting their business processes. Wedang uwuh instan which is a form of creativity for Industrial Engineering students at the Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa that managed by PT Sruput Jaya which is a socially and profit-oriented student business unit. The current marketing reach is still offline and in the surrounding environment. The target consumer has not been given the maximum information platform regarding Wedhang Uwuh Instan products so consumer interest is lacking. Therefore it is necessary to make an application to support business processes at PT Sruput Jaya as a portal for online marketing and ordering. The development of such system technology cannot be separated from the development of a database that is used as a place for managing and using data in a running information system. Database development can be done using the DBSDLC (Database System Development Lifecycle) method. There are 3 processes in database design using the DBSDLC method, namely Conceptual Schema Design, Logical Design, and Physical Design. The results of this study are in the form of a business process support system design model at PT Sruput Jaya in the form of marketing applications and instant wedang uwuh online ordering. This model will support further system development.

Abstract

This study aims to design a hand sanitizer and automated portal based on the NodeMCU microcontroller using an infrared sensor. This study uses the development model developed by Borg and Gall. The development procedure includes the exploration and product testing stages. The results of the development obtained a tool in the form of a hand sanitizer and an automated portal based on the NodeMCU microcontroller using an infrared sensor to prevent the spread of virus in West Sumbawa Regency. The trial of using the product was carried out in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Brang Rea. The trial was carried out twice, namely the initial field trial with 10 test subjects by the teacher and the final field trial with 20 student test subjects. Initial trials obtained assessment data on media/products, namely 62 of the maximum number of assessments of 69 with a percentage of 89.2% which stated that the hand sanitizer product and the NodeMCU microcontroller-based automated portal using infrared sensors were feasible to be used as a tool to prevent the spread of virus in West Sumbawa Regency. The final trial obtained data on student assessment of the product, namely 154 of the maximum number of assessments of 171 with a percentage of 90.1% which was categorized as suitable for use. These results indicate that the design of the Hand Sanitaizer and automatic portal based on the nodemCU microcontroller is feasible to be used as a product/media to prevent the spread of virus in West Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

This study objective to: (1) produce Adobe Flash-based learning multimedia for Culinary Education Students in restaurant and barista courses, (2) find out to what extent learning multimedia improves student learning outcomes, (3) find out to what extent learning multimedia improves student activity. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with reference to the development steps of Alessi & Trollip. The test subjects of this study consisted of an alpha test and a beta test. Data collection on learning outcomes was carried out by giving a pre-test and post-test, while active data collection was carried out by assessing student activity when using multimedia. The results of the study show that: (1) multimedia products in the criteria are very feasible to use both in terms of aspects of material assessment and aspects of media assessment, (2) learning multimedia improves student learning outcomes with an achievement percentage of 5% (pre-test) to 91 .5% (post-test), (3) multimedia learning increases student activity by 66.90% with high criteria.

Abstract

Teknologi saat ini berkembang dengan sangat pesat, dan telah mengubah pemrosesan informasi buatan menjadi informasi yang terkomputerisasi. Salah satunya adalah penerapan teknologi informasi yang diterapkan pada berbagai bidang kegiatan khususnya, bidang kesehatan. Indonesia memiliki banyak jumlah ternak yang bisa diternakkan antara lain sapi, kambing, kelinci, dan unggas, produk-produk berkualitas tinggi seperti sapi perah dan sapi potong yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi, selain itu ternak merupakan sumber pasokan kadar protein hewani yang dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan dan kesehatan manusia. Terbatasnya pengetahuan peternak tentang penyakit sapi, sebagian besar peternak mengandalkan pengalaman yang pernah dialami sebelumnya dalam menangani ternak sapi yang mengalami gejala suatu penyakit, hal ini menyebabkan peternak salah dalam mendiagnosis. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan system pakar ini adalah Forward Chaining. Berdasarkan pengembangan yang telah dilakukan selama proses perancangan hingga implementasi sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit sapi menggunakan metode forward chaining maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit sapi mampu menyediakan konsultasi antara pengguna dengan sistem serta memberikan hasil diagnosa yang berupa solusi serta penanganan penyakit yang telah didiagnosa tersebut.
