Abstract

The use of social media for development as well as the promotion of tourism destinations is being loved by the people of Indonesia, both from the government and the private sector. So this paper will explain the same thing a bit. Specifically this article will discuss the development of tourist destinations using one of the social media, namely Instagram. The tourist destinations that we are developing are in the village of Tegaren, District Tugu, Trenggalek Regency. There are three (3) tourist destinations in Tegaren, namely embungs, caves, and waterfalls. The community service that we have done is still focused on one tourist destination, namely embung. The embung in the Tegaren village is called Banyu Lumut. This paper seeks to explain the development of tourist destinations through social media. In this paper, the concept of tourism that is pro-poor tourism, tourism value chain, and productive economic empowerment will be used. The pro-poor tourism approach is used as an alternative step of ecotourism which is expected to be more engaged in labor-intensive development activities rather than capital intensive. The community service that we have done has resulted in the form of an @banyulumut Instagram account which can then be used by the Tegaren village government to promote Tegaren tourism. Abstract

This paper focuses on the efforts of the International Non-Gorvernmental Organization (INGO) in overcoming the environmental problems exist in the world. Nowadays, the environmental aspect has received less attention from the state and International Governmental Organization (IGO), this happens because many restrictions owned by one country to other countries are sometimes different in addressing environmental problems. Countries also have different interests in harnessing energy that contributes to environmental damage such as fossil fuels and coal. Renewable energy is considered as expensive and unfavorable technology in terms of financial. The presence of INGO as international relations actor who sees that environmental and natural sustainability is something that is crucial and must be maintained properly, so INGO continuously takes the place in the programs which can create public awareness that the environment must be prioritized. Princen & Finger (1994) explains that there are three things that make INGOs can change the roles related to environmental problems, first is from the institution and the strength of the international structure to the process, the second is from education to strategic interaction, and the last is from the reactive function of INGO to INGO's transformative effects in the global political economy. Abstract

This study explores South Korea‟s “cross certification” foreign policy, explaining the development of halal food industry in the country. Recently, the Halal food industry has become a huge market, attracting attentions in the global market. In this case, South Korea has been chosen as an interesting example because its‟ very minor Muslim population. From the total 51 million of its population, Muslim only counted as 250.000, representing less than 1% of them. Despite the very small number of Muslim, South Korea had made a serious efforts through certification cooperation with United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2015. Therefore, this paper examines the interests of South Korea through cross certification with UAE. Findings are followed through an analysis by the lenses of national interest concept and rational choice theory. This research explores three findings of the background and interest in the cooperation that could be explained. First, a very high import demand in the Emirates. Secondly, interest in ESMA (Emirates Authority of Standardization and Metrology) certification, the best quality standardization acknowledged in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Lastly, this study provides that the case was driven by economic interest and export activities which are mutually intertwined.DOI: https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v6i02.1825 Keywords: Export, Cross Certification, Halal Food, South Korea, United Arab Emirates

Abstract

Brexit is a historic phenomenon of Great Britain that wants its country out of the European Union through a referendum policy implemented on June 23, 2016. The results of the referendum Brexit resulted in the decision that the Great Britain must be out of the membership of European Union. The result is entirely left to the people of Great Britain. To analyze the Brexit policy, the use of domestic political level analysis is able to explain the role of domestic actors that influence foreign policy. One of the influential domestic actors in the Brexit policy is British public opinion. In producing Brexit policy, public opinion can‟t be separated from the influence that from within and abroad. It is analyzed using Two-level Games and the theory of decision-making abroad. Brexit dynamics that occurred in 2015-2016 is inseparable from the influence of the political parties of the United Kingdom through the group Vote Leave and Vote Remain. The effects are conveyed through campaign activities conducted directly and through social media. In addition, external factors also influence the public opinion of the United Kingdom about Brexit policy of Euroscepticism. The growing influence of Euroscepticism in the European region has had an impact on people's decisions at the time of the referendum. These influences can be seen from the final result of the referendum deciding to "Leave" or leave the EU membership. Abstract

One of the most vulnerable issues to be the trigger for conflict is the issue of identity. The sense of identity can quickly turn into a response to threats. The response to these threats will often end up in conflict. Ethnicity is one of the dimension of identity. Ethnic conflicts often show that ethnicity is the cause of the outbreak of conflict but the root causes of ethnic conflict can not be seen from a single factor because ethnic conflict is a fairly complex conflict. Sampit conflict is one of the conflicts involving ethnicity occurring in Indonesia but this conflict certainly can not be viewed solely as a conflict between ethnic Dayaks and Madurese, using the approach of Theory of Deprivation by Robert Ted Gurr, the various allegations of the outbreak of ethnic conflict in Sampit actually led at one conclusion that there has been a deprivation within society that causes the community to feel frustrated and ultimately to act aggression. To find out and analyze the deprivation condition that occurred in Sampit first we must know and understand about the situation and conditions in Sampit before the conflict broke out in 2001. The exposure will be focused on the social, political, economic and cultural conditions of the people of Central Kalimantan, especially between the two conflicting ethnic groups that are ethnic Dayaks and Madurese. Abstract

This paper discusses the political conflict between the regional government of Gowa Regency, represented by Regent Adnan Yasin Limpo and the family of Gowa Kingdom by Andi Maddusila after the enactment of the Regional Regulation on the Arrangement of the Regional and Customary Cultural Institutes of Gowa Regency in 2016. This research is qualitative research. This study found that the conflict occurred because the LAD Regional Regulation affected the power network of the Gowa royal group, namely the change in access to property of the Kingdom of Gowa such as the BallaLompoa palace and customary land and created changes in the network structure of the kingdom with the emergence of new adat institutions. The author concludes that this regulation is the final round of conflicts between the Limpo clan and the Andi Madusila clan. Through the Local Regulation of LAD, a network of powers that guarded Andi Maddusila's power over a period of seventeen years was cut off. In the absence of access to royal power on Andi Maddusila's side it was difficult for Andi Maddusila's group to consolidate the power of the royal family in Gowa Regency.
