Abstract

The study has aimed at identifying the impact between transformational leadership and job satisfaction of Milenial Generation civil servant, the population of the study consisted of registered Milinneal Generation civil servant located in Ministry of Trade. There have been 59 surveys mailed out to registered Milenial Generation civil servant. 59 surveys have been returned with an 100 % response rate. Regarding transformational leadership, the survey was adapted from the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ). The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) developed by Weiss (1967) was adapted to measure job satisfaction. The present study has shown a statistically there is no relationship existing between the four dimensions of transformational leadership and the twentieth dimensions of job satisfaction. This study shows a positive and statistically significant relationship between the four dimensions of transformational leadership and twenty dimensions of job satisfaction. Abstract

This study is aimed at identifying and measuring the critical success factors in the implementation of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in technical training for auditor within the Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan. The study is based on the perceptions of training participants obtained from the answers to the questions in the questionnaire that were filled out when completing the learning session. The questions are divided into five groups of questions which according to the literature are critical success factors including the provision of training, training materials and learning designs, online lecturers / instructors, training infrastructure, and support services. The sample in the study was taken from the MOOC learning session which included 165 responses. The results showed that the training participants perceived that the learning infrastructure factor was the most important determinant of success and was followed by the online instructor / instructor factor. While the training material and learning design factors were perceived by the training participants as the least influencing factors on the successful implementation of the MOOC.

Abstract

Training supported by coaching was convinced as effective method to increase personell or organization performance. Pre service training for civil servant candidate also using coaching as method in habituation agenda, but is not use specific coaching model, coaching is not effective yet to increase civil servant candidate performance in habituation agenda. This study aims to describe coaching in habituation agenda in pre service training related goal, reality, option, and will. This study is literature study research by qualitative approach, using GROW coaching model formulating by Sir John Whitmore. The data were collected using literature study and document. Result of the study found that: coaching in habituation agenda related by goal including understanding goal, setting goal, and result in habituation agenda; reality including define organization issue, setting creative problem solving, deciding solution in actualization plan; option including set activities and step of activities, output, analyzing relations between activities with civil servant basic value, analyzing relations between activities with vision and mission of organization, analyzing relations between activities with strengthening organization value and actualization plan seminar presentation; and will including implementing of actualization, reporting, and actualization seminar presentation. It is neccesarry to coach in habituation agenda for coach and coachee related by goal, reality, option, and will in appropriate quality and skillful coaching.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of building a culture of literacy for civil servants in the defense of the state. Defending of country is the right and obligation of every citizen, and can be done in accordance with the profession. The approach used in this paper is qualitative. The data is taken through a literature review (literature study). This study reinforces some of the results of previous research in the importance of building a culture of literacy, in this case for state defense efforts by civil servants.

Abstract

Technology is created for helping human’s activity to become easier, including for activities in an office. The growth of the information technology has followed by growth of the computer technology as its proponent. Computer has high grade accuracy in processing data. By an information technology, human can process data become faster and easier. In this research, an employee payroll application system was created the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. The aim was to simplify the payroll process and organize payroll reporting process. The method that was used in this research is grounded research. Software used in this research are Java (Netbeans IDE version 8.0), MySQL 5.5.32, and XAMPP 3.2.1. The system development method to create a payroll information system was the waterfall method. The results of the study is a payroll application system with output in the form of employee reports, attendance reports, detailed salary reports, payroll reports, and pay slip reports.

Indonesia has signed a trade agreement with Australia and hoped that this agreement can benefit both parties to face global free trade. Abstract

This study aims to identify strength and weakness (internal environment) and opportunity and threat (external environment) to formulate an appropriate strategy through SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) in cyber security training at Training Center of National Cyber and Crypto Agency. This study used descriptive method, data collection through literature study, observation, interview and questionnaire. Data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The result showed that using the SWOT analysis tool WO strategy had the highest score 3.97, SO strategy was ranked second with score 3, 76. Furthermore, WT strategy ranked third with score of 3.54 and ST strategy score 3.33. Strategies that can be carried out include SO Strategy: coordinating with stakeholders and meeting the competencies of all training staff, WO Strategy: revising the curriculum, increasing the number of teaching staff and developing competencies, ST Strategy: improving services and simplifying the training process, fulfilling the need of supporting equipment learning process, dissemination of training information, WT Strategy: establish cooperation with other training institutions, bring in instructors from outside and benchmark to other training institutions.

Abstract

Education is a very essential factor in human life, because if someone get the certain knowledge then they will be able to make a better decision, self empowerment and aware of rules and regulations in the world. Two of the important regulations related to international trade are coming from The World Trade Organization (WTO) and Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA). Indonesia has ratified the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) on 5 December 2017. The new agreement related to WTO and TFA needed to be learnt and teach with a good Education Model. The most important role of skill policies and education in globalization era is its role in facilitating the international flow of ideas. This research can fill the gap to make an Educational Model of TFA based on Non-Juridical and Juridical Education. Both factors become very important things because the stakeholders can use this model to more quickly and easily understand the substance of TFA, so that Indonesia can fully implement the TFA commitments in the digital database WTO in the year 2022.

Abstract

The Indonesian seaweed trade is still dominated by dry seaweed, even though Indonesia's seaweed still has high prospects for development. The purpose of this study is to analyze and provide strategies for supporting the prospects of Indonesia's seaweed trade. In achieving this goal, we use qualitative desk study methods and SWOT analysis. The results showed that Indonesia's seaweed trade still shows the opportunity to increase high added value by prioritizing the trade of semi-finished products rather than dried seaweed. This is supported by the strength of Indonesian seaweed which has a large potential for cultivation, a high number of laborer, high consumption of domestic and foreign seaweed derivative products and the availability of sufficient technology and expertise. Those strengths used to seize high import market opportunities. The existence of a national seaweed development road map also helps create a better prospect for seaweed trade.

Abstract

Employee engagement is important for all parts of human resources in an agency or company. Employees and leaders who are not engaged with the organization had a decrease in the level of work quality, a decrease in efficiency, inconsistencies in service, a decrease in initiatives to provide suggestions for organizational progress, and ultimately reduce the level of organizational performance. Thus it is necessary to explore the factors that can influence the level of employee engagement. Factors of leadership style and organizational climate are examined for their influence on the level of employee engagement in this study which is divided into three hypotheses. The research locus is in the Financial Education and Training Agency. Data analysis in this study was carried out using SPSS version 17.0 for windows.
