Abstract

This article aims to explore the philosophical meaning of the ambengan tradition on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha for the people of Tulungagung as a source of cultural history. The types of data in this study are qualitative in the form of narratives, descriptions, and descriptions related to the Ambengan tradition. Data sources are primary and secondary. The instrument in this research is in the form of interview and observation guidelines. In this study, the data was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the research show that Javanese tradition is a hereditary form of our ancestors. A tradition that must be faced and preserved. In Tulungagung society, there is a tradition of ambengan at the time of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Traditions that exist and are passed down from generation to generation and are preserved by the people of Tulungagung. Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of student saturation in the learning process due to the monotonous teaching strategy. This study aims to determine gamification in BTQ learning and the role of this gamification-based learning. The subjects in this study were all grades VII and VIII, totaling 19 classes at SMPN 1 Candi. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study are Gamification in learning lies in the development of effective strategies in the learning process implied in the depth of analysis of the conditions and available learning tools. The role of gamification in learning is able to associate feelings of fun, form collective knowledge for students, increase student motivation in doing assignments and be able to increase the tendency to actively work on assignments even with reduced accuracy due to time in games. Abstract

This study aims to describe the values ​​of Islamic education in the Tahlilan tradition as a form of social harmony in the Sudimoro Megaluh Jombang community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods of observation and documentation. The data analysis is using content analysis. The results showed that the values ​​of Islamic education contained in the Tahlilan tradition were to get ridlo from Allah SWT. According to the majority of the villagers, Sudimoro stated that giving a meal is an alms recommended by Islam whose reward is given to people who have died and as ikramud dla`if. In a sociological context, this tahlilan ritual is a tool to strengthen social solidarity, meaning a tool to strengthen the balance of the community in Sudimoro village, namely creating a socio-harmonious situation, tolerance among participants, and taking turns helping each other to give blessings (prayer) which will be addressed to families who are in need. already dead. Abstract

The concept of science in Islam is an integral part of the Islamic worldview or way of life, so that it has its own characteristics that make it different from concepts in other civilizations. This paper is sourced from several literatures related to the subject matter, and the analysis uses content analysis. In conclusion, science according to the Islamic view of life not only covers the substance of knowledge, but also becomes an important element in civilization. With regard to the urgency of the position of science, several figures such as Ibn Khaldun, Imam al-Ghazali, or Syed Muhammad Naurib Al-Attas provide several characteristics of the classification of knowledge to place which one is more priority, which in the future is related to how the object of knowledge in Islam is determined. From the narratives of these figures, it can be seen that science in Islam is not only the sciences of faith and sharia, but there are also a number of other sciences such as physics, biology, and so on that need to be studied. Abstract

Larung sesaji is a religious ritual as a form of gratitude to God in which there is animism and myths, and is still ingrained in Javanese traditions, especially Tambakrejo village. Tambakrejo Village is an area on the coast of the southern tip of Blitar Regency which is still closely related to cultural preservation. Likewise with the characteristics of the people who still maintain the traditions of their ancestors. One tradition that is still maintained is the Larung Sesaji ceremony which is held in the month of Shura. In its implementation, there are several series of events which of course require cooperation and cohesiveness among the people. What's more, the village area is currently dominated by natives and immigrants. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the tradition of larung offerings which is one form of effort in strengthening the solidarity of the local community, namely the village of Tambakrejo. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning to read the Koran with the yanbu'a method for children at TPQ Miftachul Jinan Sentul Tembelang Jombang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources use primary and secondary data sources, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis uses the steps of data reduction, data display and verification. The results showed that the implementation of reading learning with the Yanbu'a dia TPQ Miftachul Jinan method can be described as follows: a) The Koran learning activities are divided into classes according to the volume of each child in volume/juz 1 consisting of 28. b) The method used by the cleric has followed according to what is in the Yanbu'a Method manual. c) The material taught is reading material together with being guided by a cleric using props, besides that there is also additional material such as memorizing daily prayers, short letters, pearls of wisdom and others that have been carried out well. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of motivation to student achievement in PAI subjects at SDN Mojokrapak 3 Tembelang Jombang. The independent variable in this study is motivation (X) and the dependent variable is student achievement (Y). This research uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is correlation. The sample is 33 students consisting of class II, III and IV. Motivation data is obtained from the distribution of questionnaires and PAI learning achievement data is taken from the grades of second semester student report cards for the 2020/2021 academic year. Technical analysis of the data using Pearson's product moment correlation. Learning motivation is positively and significantly related to PAI subjects at SDN Mojokrapak 3, Tembelang Jombang, Even Semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The results of the correlation test obtained a Pearson Correlation value of 0.951, where this result is greater than the value of r table (0.951 > 0.344). Therefore, it can be concluded that the motivation variable (X) is positively related to the achievement variable (Y). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the teacher's teaching style on students' interest in learning in PAI subjects at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung Jombang. The independent variable in this study is the teacher's teaching style (X) and the dependent variable is the student's interest in learning (Y). This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is causality. The sample consisted of 30 students consisting of all classes IV-B. The teacher's teaching style data was obtained from the questionnaire distribution and the PAI learning interest data was taken from the distribution of student questionnaires for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Technical analysis of the data using product moment correlation. From the results of the analysis with SPSS version 20, the correlation coefficient value is 0.283 with a significant value of 0.129. Because the significance > 0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that there is no influence of the teacher's teaching style on students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung Jombang.
