Abstract

Glutathione peroxidase (GPx) is one of the antioxidants that acts as a protector of organisms from oxidative stress. Several compounds in certain plants have been shown to increase GPx activity. Red betel leaves are known to contain antioxidant compounds that have the potential to increase GPx activity. This study aims to see the potential of red betel compound as an activator of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase. As many as 44 red betel leaves active compounds which were tested by in silico method started with receptor and ligand preparation, followed by grid box determination, then proceeded to virtual screening and molecular docking. The virtual screening stage eliminated 7 compounds and in Lipinski test stage there were 2 compounds that were eliminated, also the AdmetSAR test eliminated 21 sompunds, so that there were 14 compounds continued to the file preparation stage, molecular docking and analysis of ligand-receptor interactions. The parameters of affinity energy and percentage of binding site similarity (%BSS) used in the molecular docking analysis showed that there are several compounds that have the potential as antioxidant compounds by increasing the performance of the glutathione peroxidase enzyme, the best compound identified is guanidine tartrate with an affinity energy of -4.8 Kcal/mol and BSS percentage of 62.5%, this compound is also considered safe to be consumed based on its physicochemical and toxicity test.

Abstract

Malay is spoken in the archipelago and the Malay Peninsula, becoming the official language in Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia. It is the national language of Singapore and the working language of Timor Leste and several other ASEAN countries. The Malay language is valuable and should be preserved so that future generations, especially in Indonesia, recognize the diversity of languages that the Indonesian people have. One way to keep it is to document the Malay language in an encyclopedia, usually a thick book. Because thick books are not practical to carry everywhere and are not friendly for quick searches, the author developed a mobile application using the Android platform to make it easier for users to access information about the Malay language. The method used in this paper is A Pattern Match, a pattern search on a text string. The pattern match method is developed using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), a common approach to application development. In this paper, the application only focuses on the Indonesian-to-Malay and Malay-to-Indonesian translation dictionary features and the poem search feature based on the keywords entered. The development of this system implements a client-server application that must connect the device to the Internet to access the server's data. The keyword search uses a pattern match, which produces output based on keywords that have similar patterns. Ten respondents utilized usability testing and showed that 85.71% thought it was good, 6.12% thought it was neutral, and 8.16% thought it was poor

Abstract

The study aims to determine the marketing function, supply chain process, and supply chain performance of California Papaya suppliers to find solutions to problems that arise in the fruit commodity supply chain, namely, failure to achieve the realization of supply achievement according to recommendations. The research location at KN Jaya Farm Rancabungur Bogor Regency is from May 2022 to August 2022. Data collection methods through interviews and observations. The respondents were one-person farmers, seven suppliers, and one-person distributors. Data analysis is carried out descriptively and quantitatively analyzes supply realization compared to supply chain operation reference (SCOR) standards to determine supply chain performance achievements. Research shows the marketing functions carried out: sales and purchase activities, exchanges, physical functions: Packaging, transportation, facility functions: financing, standardization, risk protection, and market information. The supply chain process is the activity of the flow of goods, the flow of money, and the flow of information. Supply chain performance analysis consists of planning, procurement, delivery, and returns. The achievement analysis results in each matrix show that the realization of the supply chain has been carried out beyond the standards recommended by SCOR. The research concludes that the exchange function, the physical part, and the facility function carry out the marketing function. The supply chain process includes the activity of the flow of goods, money, and information. Supply chain performance has met the standard by 67% and the non-standard by 33% of the number of metrics recommended by SCOR. The recommendation of this study is to recruit suppliers from locations in the West Java region so that the metric component can 100% meet the standards and apply digital systems to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of supply through blockchain technology.

Abstract

Kemang fruit is a seasonal fruit that can only be enjoyed in certain seasons and has yet to be used optimally. Processing Kemang fruit into fruit leather is one of the efforts to optimize the consumption of Kemang fruit. This study aims to determine Kemang and machete gourd fruit leather's physical, chemical, and sensory qualities. It used a completely randomized design (CRD) in which the proportion of Kemang and machete gourd puree was the factor. It consisted of three treatment levels ( 2:3, 1:1, 3:2). Data analysis used ANOVA and DMRT as the further test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed the proportion of Kemang and machete gourd puree affected physical characteristics (strong), chemical characteristics (water content and crude fiber content), and sensory quality tests (taste, color, texture). The selected fruit leather was fruit leather with a ratio of Kemang and machete gourd A1 (2:3), which has an average value of physical and chemical characteristics, namely tensile strength of 0.06 N/mm2, elongation of 9.484%, moisture content of 26.48 %, water activity (Aw) 0.78, fiber content 4.34%, and crude level (pH) 4.2. The average value of the sensory quality test, namely taste 4,940, color 7,200, aroma 5.8, texture 4.5, and the hedonic test, namely taste 6.3, color 7.0, aroma 6.5, texture 6.6, and overall 7.2. It can be concluded that the less proportion of Kemang puree compared to the machete gourd puree (2:3) will give the best characteristics of fruit leather.

Abstract

The speed of access to digital information is essential in making decisions, and Google Development requires a data access limit of no more than three seconds. This study analyzes performance, security, and other measurements among three frameworks: CodeIgniter, Laravel, and Ktupad. This research methodology uses digital forensics as a framework for the collection of functions, classes, and rules. In contrast to libraries that are only for a specific purpose, the framework comprehensively regulates how we build applications. Frameworks allow us to build applications faster because we will focus more on the subject matter as developers. SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) consists of 3 stages: Framework Testing, Framework Analysis, and Framework Evaluation. The case study of this research is an Online Exam at Junior High School 242 Jakarta, which was built using CodeIgniter Web Framework, Boostrap, JQuery, Laravel, and Ktupad Web Framework and then compares the three using the Research and Development method with the Extreme Programming (XP) approach. Comparison tool using Web Dev, Apache JMeter, and ZAP OWASP. The results of this study show that the performance values are 1-100 from CodeIgniter 77, Laravel 75, and Ktupad 99, and security values from CodeIgniter Medium, Laravel Medium, and Ktupad Low.

Abstract

The transportation problem (TP) is a significant factor in operational research. Numerous researchers have put forth various solutions to these problems. The goal is to reduce the overall cost of distributing resources from multiple sources to numerous destinations. If there are road risks (snow, flood, etc.), traffic limitations, etc., it might not be feasible to transport products from one place to another. In these circumstances, the appropriate route(s) can be given an extremely high unit cost, such as M (or). Following that, a specific case of the prohibited transportation problem is introduced. Therefore, the focus of this study is to provide a novel algorithm that will reduce the cost of restricted transportation problems. With a few modifications, the traditional Vogel approach has been enhanced. The proposed method would perform better than the other approaches now in use. The numerical problem is resolved to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and make comparisons with different approaches already in use.
